To top it all off, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended whether you're taking a drive break or looking for a cozy local spot!

Especially…read moreon a Sunday It got quite busy and we were lucky to get there at good time when there was no queue. The Salmon bagel was fresh, flavorful, and made for a really satisfying brunch. The cafe has a relaxed, welcoming vibe that fits perfectly with the laid-back feel of Sequim. Definitely a nice little local spot to grab breakfast or coffee if you're in the area. I'd happily stop by again next time we pass through the area and try more from the menu!

The coffee was outstanding, and they offer a great selection of freshly roasted beans, from light to dark roasts. The pastry case looked amazing, and they also feature daily specials. I ordered the breakfast burrito, and I'll definitely be coming back for it--it was excellent! My wife had the spinach frittata with cheese and bacon, and she loved it. We only wish we had a place like this closer to home in Seattle. There are plenty of great coffee shops there, but this café has a special hometown feel that makes you want to come back. She greets everyone with bounding warmth and insights into each product, which are made with an impressive commitment to the healthiest ingredients, locally-sourced products, and socially responsible packaging. An excellent pit stop when we're running an errand in Sequim or heading out for a weekend getaway. Vegans should feel right at home, while the rest of us realize what we've been missing. =)

A bit on the pricy side but that's just the economy inflating everything. I would say it's worth it. The Berrys are nice and tart and the crust and crumb are buttery goodness. I always eat this pie while I'm driving and regret not getting two slices. I got the Bedford ginger beer and it was pretty tasty. Overall, if I'm ever in the area and even if I'm 1.5 hours away I come here. Get yourself some pie and chili.

(unheated double smoke bacon breakfast sandwich - yes, i'm gaming the buy seperately 3 times, get 90 stars). i was surprised and my BS light lit brightly. When i asked the poor young barista to state which health code (state law) it violates, their response pivots to its against company policy. When i mention i have made this purchase many times before the response is those employees didn't know company policy. Now, i cant attest to the factuality of that statement, but considering i travel a fair bit, and have not ever experienced a surprise like this before in 20+ states and literally 100's of starbucks i have visited, i'm left to feel sorry for all those uninformed Barista's OR maybe .... this is a new company policy or simply this stores policy. i'll have to run a double blind experiment to find out.
