Hunt is downstairs and has a prohibition vibe. Excellent bartender and the drinks were incredible. I believe it was a basil cocktail. I would have it again. I had cassoulet + white beans + andouille sausage + confit duck leg. My German student had smoked chickpea curry + vadouvan + curry oil. And my buddy Mark had red beans & rice + andouille sausage + celery + bell pepper + cornbread. They were all excellent and well priced! Some of the best new food in town. Not an unhappy person among the four of us. Hunt is not like it sounds. I was first reluctant to go there because of the name. The ambiance didn't quite work for me and that is the 4-star rating. However, the atmosphere is nice and I suggest you give it a try. I will go back.

The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, the staff were attentive and friendly, the food was amazing; all around, an outstanding experience. I started with their classic French onion soup which was so flavorful and packed with hearty ingredients like beef broth & caramelized onions. For my main meal, I chose the salmon which was cooked to perfection! The flavor was unforgettable with a delicate balance of spices - definitely one of the best fish dishes I've ever had. To top off my meal, I opted for their warm apple crumble which melted in my mouth - absolutely delicious! From start to finish, Hunt Restaurant provided an amazing experience that left me wanting more. The quality of service and food is hard to beat! If you're ever in Spokane, WA make sure you pay them a visit - it's worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Attended a work dinner in the private dining room at Hunt. The room and table were nicely set and the decor attractive. I can see it being a nice venue for a special occasion, if you enjoy the food and/or if you're only having drinks. Our dedicated server was tremendous. She singlehandedly looked after our table of 20. The food was presented nicely and was prompt. The menu items looked wonderful, but sadly somehow the ingredients didn't come together to become delicious.

Absolutely going back! I think the bad reviews were from when the place was finding it's groove. (There are no beans on the menu anymore lol). We ordered about 6 things off the happy hour menu and drinks and a dessert. Wow! Loved all but one thing (brisket ramen). The s'mores were so pillowy and fun. The curry pancake was inventive and delicious. Knocked its out of the park with the smash burger. Go here! Not sure what the gorgeous room upstairs is for but it's gorgeous.

I was looking forward to trying this restaurant. It was a waste. We went during restaurant week, one would think that would be a good opportunity to try a new place. Not so for this place. Service was great. Ambiance is fine but they aren't the only restaurant in a basement in spokane, Try the gilded unicorn if you wanna eat in a neat environment. Food was well under subpar. It was a horrible take on a French dip. Just very disappointing since eating out isn't something we do often at all. Anyway save your time go somewhere else.

Great drinks and atmosphere! The dimly lit atmosphere is very lovely. I don't eat meat and so I'm not the biggest fan of hunting. But I do appreciate the attention to detail in the design. I really love camping and the outdoors so I thought the tent room in the back was a really cool idea. I like all the wood as well. Very interesting place in a historic building. Definitely check it out! The food is prepared upstairs at !

fuck this sex dungeon!!!!!!! we went here for dinner after an event at our business that is also located dt. after we struggled through our mid grade appetizers, and when i say mid grade i mean the fuckig midssssssss!!!!!! we ordered 2 varieties of mid grade crucnchy ass beans that must of been adopted from a recipe from the 1600's!!!!! i damm near broke a tooth !!!! crucially crunching baked beans will mess with you mind people!!! baked beans should be soft to the bite .... these beans bit back .... flavorless and hard as pre med calculus, these beans are weapons of mass destruction!!! they are the air soft pellets of beans . never order the beans !!!!!!!!!!! both beans dishes i ordered, and that was my mistake !! I would of been better off using them as ammunition then trying to eat them . after we were choked by these beans and some how managed a few bites of our supper , we paid the bill and went to leave . we noticed another dining room in the back and went to go check it out . this space looked amazing. i entered through a doorway and soon found myself trapped for 30 minutes behind a huge metal door that locked me in !!! staff couldn't find a way to let me out . they called the owner . he was mad at me!!!!!!!! no signs . no warnings not to touch this door. nothing. this place has terrible food and shitty owners .

I was very excited to try the new place in town, especially since I heard they had a pretty great whiskey selection. We came on a Friday night and it was packed. They most definitely were understaffed as it took about 20 minutes to receive a menu. This is understandable for me as new restaurants tend to have a few kinks in the beginning weeks of opening. Other than that, our drinks and the staff were fantastic. The whiskey selection was amazing, with rare bottles from the owner's private collection. Hopefully they can work out the minor staff issues as this place has the potential of being super cool. We will definitely be back!

Extremely extremely extremely underwhelming for a $148 tab…read more The leisurely is an option where the entire table has to participate. They charge you $57 a person, and you share the meal. I felt as if our server should have told us immediately that this was a shared option, but even then to make every person pay $57 is nuts for the portion of food that you receive. We are content creator, so we happen to record every dish that we received. ( the leisurely) First thing they brought out was roasted nuts and marinated olives. (6/10). Some of the olives were hard, but the roasted nuts were pretty good. 2. My wife is allergic to shrimp so they were gonna bring out the grilled ponds but instead the chef decided to bring out brussels sprouts. (2/10). It was awful. I almost gagged legitimately, and my wife felt the same, the brussels sprouts also had a foul smell to them as if they were spoiled. - it was paired with the winter salad. In my opinion, that was the second best thing that they brought out. It was very rich in flavor, colorful as well. 3. They then brought out some pasta. Tagliatelle Pasta. This is the best thing that they brought out. The noodles were fresh and the meat choice ( roast) paired very well and it was mildly flavorful, enough to swing both ways but we'd say it swung in the right direction. I'd give it 8.5/10. 4. They then brought out steelhead trout with couscous and cauliflower with roasted carrots. - I think the audacity to give two full grown adults. A 1/3 portion of fish is quite literally disrespectful. It was so disrespectful until it just made me want to leave even more than I did whenever they brought out the brussels sprouts. The piece of fish itself was not seasoned, but it happened to pair slightly with the couscous and whatever sauce. It was quinoa actually.. (6.5/10) flavor wise. I hate really complaining about food, but this was so underwhelming.. that I may have contested the bill if my baby didn't poop out of his clothes during the visit. I will likely update this review with all of the photos once we upload the video just so everyone get an idea. ---- Overall, we would've been much happier, ordering individual dishes off the menu. I don't want to shit all over this place because I do believe it has potential, but I would not advise anyone to do the leisurely. The couple behind us actually didn't eat any of their food either and they apparently chose the same option and she was very upset so I'm glad that we weren't the only ones. I don't think we will return back to this restaurant. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone either.

Her warmth was genuine, her recommendations were spot-on, and she had an incredible ability to anticipate what we needed before we even asked. Lily checked in at just the right moments -- never intrusive, never absent. She remembered details from earlier in the conversation, kept the energy upbeat, and handled a small mix-up with our order with total grace and a smile. That kind of poise is rare. If you're lucky enough to be seated in Lily's section, you're in for a treat. She's the kind of server who turns a good meal into a genuinely memorable experience. We'll absolutely be back, and we'll be asking for her by name!

We had a group of eight and there was a lot of "not ready yet" which the staff handled with ease. Food came out quickly but mostly all at the same time. We had a few items that came out later but it was reasonable and expected. Ambiance is very nice, simple but elegant. You would feel comfortable coming in dressed up or casual. Let's get to the nitty gritty, the food quality was very good, taste was a knock out. The pasta and sauce was good enough that I was looking for specific tastes so I could recreate it, that's what I hope for in a restaurant! And there was fresh bread, oh how I could wax poetic about fresh bread and so few restaurants are on this very simple add. Dessert - I'm always hypercritical of crème brûle because like bread it's pretty simple ingredients but takes some care, Muzuna's nailed it. All in all you should stop in for dinner and you won't be disappointed!
