Plenty of seating and space to chat with friends or as solo. The matcha drink wasn't the tastiest, but it was still okay. Bathroom was clean.

This coffee shop is one my favorite! Right Infront of the Subway station. Inside is quite big & you can have privacy. It worth to come from Manhattan. They close early at 5pm. (Most of the cafe closed at 6pm) free water (self- service is setting up) I've attached pictures and I hope it will help. I'll def come back again.

Terrific coffee house with a super chill vibe and decor. Music in morning was cool and played on a lower volume which was nice as I wasn't totally awake yet. They serve delicious Stumptown coffee and an iced cup did the trick along with a buttery fresh croissant. The place itself is pretty large, open, and clean. So many spots to sit at with leather couches, communal wooden table, and individual tables for two. Funky art and plant wall too. Such a comfy atmosphere here to enjoy a cup of coffee, or to being your computer and get some work done with the free wifi. Clean bathroom too. Very fairly priced and nice staff working here.

If you're looking for a huge an unassuming coffee shop in East Williamsburg, look no further than this Hungry Ghost location off of Grand street. Conveniently located off the L/G line, this spot boasts lots of space as well as modern decor which makes it an ideal space to work from. We visited this location on a weekend during the morning and there was only two other people inside. We went to the counter in the back and I ordered an iced coffee, which was around four dollars. The wooden furniture and lush green wall gives this place a comfortable vibe without it trying too hard. I'd suggest visiting if you have the chance!

Lukewarm and expensive. Just how I take it.

Small black coffee. $3.00 plus tax. Not even hot. You have got to be joking. You had one job and you couldn't even do that right. How do places like this even stay open?

This is a very nice trendy upscale coffee bar I have a cappuccino very good I like the leaf affect from the froth milk, I didn't order anything else on the menu but they had your basic sandwiches Greek yogurt, and other light bites, comfortable couches and free Wi-Fi Very friendly staff

Closing time - does this place close at 8pm (as listed everywhere - yelp, google, website) or at 7pm as indicated by the barista turning off all the lights with no warning?? Also, does that mean the tables will get cleaned in the dark? Will they get cleaned at all? This cafe is usually pretty great, but just turning off all the lights like that and then taking another 10 minutes to begrudgingly turn them back on is just rude. Probably best to avoid hungry ghost on Sundays.

I can't say anything for their drinks because I didn't order from any but the Avocado Toast was pretty delicious.

This coffee shop became my new favorite. Most often I have nitro and cappuccino. The owners make cappuccino the right way!

Good coffee Sunday through Saturday, but if you head here on a Monday or Tuesday you can expect 10/10 music as well.

Love this place. Baristas are friendly, foods great, and they roast with Stumptown. Great addition to the neighborhood!

There's the main seating area and then two offshoot lounges, which aren't quite as cozy but offer different levels of quiet and ambience. I love all the random décor, antique signs, old arcade games as tables, a million lamps. It's like what nook is going for but you can actually sit down on a comfy couch most of the time. The guy working the counter has a lot of energy and clearly loves being there. The PB banana smoothie was yummy, very thick so could use a spoon. Mushroom toast was a bit pricey but you did get a lot of food for your money, the focaccia was crunchier than expected but all around a nice cafe bite. I just appreciate how this is such a gathering spot where you can watch bk life play out while working, it had a different energy from a lot of places in the area.

Shucks I wanted to give this place five stars but it didn't start so well. The first barista who…read moretook my order was really great. I first ordered a chai latte and he said I could do two different syrups so I got the pumpkin and salted maple, though I was worried about it being too sugary so he suggested I could just do half a pump of each. He asked me what the name of the order would be and I said "Aida" (the phonetic spelling is ah-EE-dah). And then I heard the other barista say something along the lines of, "oh Aida, how about 'Aida' rather not be here", pretty rude if you ask me. And then I ordered the spicy nook sandwich. And when another server called my named to grab it she didn't even knowledge me when I tried to thank her and instead she talked to her coworker while I was right in front of her. The sandwich was really good, so was my chai tea. I really like the pumpkin and salt and maple syrups too. I did like all the options for seating although it was pretty packed. I'd say if you have a big party get there early. By 7pm the whole place was filled. There was a huge majong club that came in and took the whole back area, it was so crammed there were lines for the bathroom. Over all I had a good time. I really like the music too just know it gets very busy in there. The employees I would say were hit or miss. The ones that were great though I really liked. Just seem like the ones who didn't really give attention to customers or were kind of rude seemed like they didn't wanna be there.
