    Three roll special

This was the soft opening for this location. They have replaced tengda darien. The service was all over the place and didn't see to know the menu. I gave my order three times and it still came out wrong. I have a shrimp allergy and was served shrimp which I didn't order and then was told numerous times don't worry it was crab. Thank God I didn't eat it as it definitely was shrimp. The sushi and sashimi was fresh the staff tried their best and the build out was freshly done on the building making it a nice sit down. They do take credit card and there is ample parking I will give them another chance but was super disappointed As of now they don't have licquor available but will in a few weeks

Everything went great 2 times in a week. We enjoyed it so much we went twice in 1 week, including NYE. Yubi, the owner/hostess, is awesome. It feels like Tengda is back.

    Two sushi roll Lunch specials.

This was my first time here, and I enjoyed the sushi. The location is conveniently located, clean, bright and opens at 11 am which is a bonus for those who like to eat lunch early. Their portions were generous, and the sushi was fresh. The salad was also a nice greens mix with spinach, and not the iceberg-only versions I usually see. I do have limited experience with Hunan-style Chinese food and did not partake in anything other than sushi during my visit. I chose this location because I was in Stamford for work. The lunch special of two sushi rolls and soup or salad was a good deal in my opinion. I have seen other reviews of this location, and the price comparisons being made. This is Fairfield County, and you're paying for the location. Yes, it's cheaper in Bridgeport, but this is Darien, in the former Goodwifes Plaza. (Cue the eye roll, they did film the Stepford Wives movie here after all.) Overall, I enjoyed my meal and found it to be a good spot with comparable prices for the area.

This restaurant is incredible. I've frequented their restaurant in Wilton and this new Darien branch is just an incredible. Their sushi is always fresh (attached you will see the Amazing Roll (special) and Spicy Crab Salad (regular)) and their appetizers are always well made and good portions. The restaurant is clean and has a beautiful, calm ambience (I would love to see it at night!). Our waitress was very kind and the food came out in a reasonable time. Love this place!

The food was prepared in about 10 minutes, and I found it quite enjoyable. The seasoning was well-balanced, and the meat was tender. Finding a good Chinese restaurant can be challenging, but this place met my expectations. I would be happy to return in the future.

So tonight after I went to nearby Orange Barber Shop for a haircut, I decided to go ahead and grab…read moresomething to eat. I had thought about Mainport which I don't mind but don't exactly think is the best thing since sliced bread, but for some reason I decided tonight would be the night I go for some Chinese. I haven't been to one in Norwalk ever since Great Wall closed down. If I had known what I was getting myself into, I would have just kept walking. So immediately when I went in, there was already a lot of people inside. It was hard to tell who was in line in this hole in the wall. They do have menus outside the door you can take to make your decision which helped, but it still took me 5-10 minutes before I realized I could just go ahead and order since, again, I didn't know who was in line. Oh, a little tidbit. If you coming in looking for buffalo sauce, please look elsewhere! I kid you not, a couple of girls who came in after I did actually asked if they had buffalo sauce. Yes. That question literally came out of their mouths, and made its way to my ears while I was waiting for my food. Oh, and speaking of waiting, I had a 20-minute wait after I finally ordered. It's not as long as some other reviews, but it was just enough to make me miss my train. Yeah. That's why I wouldn't have come here if I had known. I will also mention that the barber who did my hair tonight actually also came here while I was waiting. Make of that what you will. For my order, I had the General Tso's Chicken (S1) and the "Crabmeat Cheese Fried Wonton"... To quote Avril, "Why'd you have to go and make things so complicated"? Just call it a Crab Rangoon already! That's what every other Chinese Food joint calls it. It comes with rice and red sauce. Yeah... Let's start with the red sauce because I have a bone with that. When I opened my bag and saw how much I was given, that level of sauce was so low I just had to laugh. The container it was in wasn't even filled halfway with the stuff. And yet, the Rangoons themselves did such a poor job of mopping the sauce that I couldn't finish the sauce. That's not to mention that the red sauce when I did taste it was WAY too salty. Seriously, did the recipe call for a salt lick to be added in? It tasted like I was eating saltwater. As for the Rangoon itself, the flavor was okay, but nothing to write home. Honestly, I could say the same things for both the rice and the General Tso's Chicken, but I will add that the breading was so soggy that the chicken actually fell out as I was trying to eat it. I will say in its favor though that the price isn't terrible, and the service from the staff is fine. That is enough to keep it from a one star, but even though I would like to give it a two-and-a-half, I can't give this a three.
