Good afternoon place located in the food court corner. A healthier alternative this place offers Mediterranean dishes that are quite filling. The chicken platter is very well done and satisfying for a lunch. The star of the dish is of course the hummus which is set at the bottom with layers of salad and topped with grilled chicken. As I like things, spicy, I asked for hot sauce. It was tasty but not very spicy. Having no kick it added flavor to the dish but I would have loved some jalapeños or pepper sauce. I have had in this place before covid lockdown , and the taste was mediocre ! Somehow they managed to better the taste now . Possibly there was a change of chef .. Had hummus with pita . Loved it . Do try it . Really healthy too. Loved their felafel .. nice hot and crisp. Also loved their spicy chutneys / sauces . I need to start off by saying the customer service is absolutely horrible! The gentleman that took my order was very dry and standoffish. Secondly, I'd like to say that the portions are pretty small; especially for the price point. Additionally, I'd like to add that the lamb Kofta was nothing but a lamb burger. HOWEVER, I must say the lamb was marvelous! It was extremely moist (pause), and by no means, did it seem like a frozen patty. As for the rest of the dish, it was spectacular!! The rice was perfect and the combination of veggies were a great choice as well. Honestly, the only negative thing that I could say about the food is that they were a little stingy with the white sauce. But, I could work with that. Ultimately, I would like to give them five stars but due to the horrible customer service, I can't go beyond the four. I will definitely be returning, and I would suggest this place to others, but I would warn them about the dry and standoffish customer service. read more

As a big fan of mediterranean food, as soon as I saw this, I decided to buy lunch from here but it was disappointing. Even though the flavour of chicken and quantity was fine but the service was poor. There was only 2 people, one at the counter an done in the kitchen. He was not even listening and was on his phone the entire time. As I was the only one ordering, it was really quick but does not taste fresh and looked burnt. But what they lack in quantity, they make up for in quality. I had the best falafel pita sandwich ever! Really good falafel sandwich! Very hearty and flavorful. Good to have something like this at Menlo Park Mall. Will definitely order again.

I was shopping and saw there was a place that sold bubble tea in the food court. It was so disorganized, the three men seemed frazzled as one of the grills was not working so many customers were turned away. I ordered a large lavender milk bubble tea with tapioca pearls. It took over 10 minutes to make and when I went to grab the cup it wasn't sealed and it spilled all over my hand. I told the cashier who proceeded to rip open the rest of the seal with the same hands he handled money with and pour it into another cup. The tapioca pearl splashed against his hands and back into the cup that he was transferring my tea to. I watched all this and was so grossed out I asked him to make me a fresh one. The other young man took over and tried to make me a new one. I waited another 10 minutes for a new one. When I tried it , it was super sweet and the tapioca balls clumped together. There is another bubble tea place by the Rainforest Cafe, next time I will go there instead. read more

I ordered the falafel hummus salad. The base is hummus with cucumbers and tomatoes in the center, surrounded by falafel balls topped with tahini sauce. It came with a side of pita and a green spicy sauce. Service was quick and the food was delicious. read more

This place use to be good when it first opened but now it's terrible. I got the chicken with rice. First you have to beg to get any extra sauces. Visited this place last week and ordered a spicy chicken salad which came with hummus, cucumber and tomato salad and a pita bread on the side. The chicken was flavorful and fresh. It also came with 3 sauces on the side which complemented the chicken very well. I also ordered a Thai bubble tea with strawberry flavored popping boba which was really cool as the boba pops in your mouth. I would recommend this place to my friends. I would visit this place every time when I am in Menlo Park mall. My new go to place. Keep up the good work guys. read more

I've tried falafel in several restaurants in the area and have never been happy with it until now. I won't eat hummus from the stores, because I've had it in Israel, and everything else just doesn't compare, but the hummus here was fresh. The sauces were tasty as well. The pita was super soft. Only problem is their ahem "bubble teas" they need to just stick with doing lassis,felafels,and masala green and just leave that job over to the Chinese on the other side of the mall who do a much better job Also it's very expensive at least for a po' woman like me. It was a little concerning how fast the food came out of the kitchen (about 5 seconds), but it had a good flavor and it's good to pick up if you're rushed for time. The rice was just rice. I would give this place ZERO rating if there would have been an option. Worst place.. just now my husband picked up food from here .. they were closing so they just gave stale food. We ordered chicken hummus salad and a chicken shawarma wrap , both were disgusting. I believe they did so because they won't have to answer to anyone as they would close just after. Ordered from DoorDash because we saw a new halal place and wanted to try something new. Total mistake. The food took about an hour to leave the restaurant (not the driver's fault, he was texting me updates on the status of my order as he was waiting). Turns out the food was just sitting in the kitchen and they forgot it was there. When we got the food, it was ice cold. The cooks did not listen to simple requests. I literally took one bite of the lamb over rice and threw it out. Complete waste of money. If you want real NY style halal, go to Kennedy Fried Chicken; its not too far away and the food is much tastier plus more bang for your buck. This place is way overpriced for less than mediocre food and crap service. Will never order from here again. read more

This place is an underrated hidden gym at the back of the food court in Menlo Mall. I ordered the falafel pita sandwich for lunch today and it put all my doubts to shame. My order was completed pretty fast in which I was grateful because from previous reviews the timing had me a little skeptical. Anyways the sandwich was all that I can ask for and then some. They give you three sauces( tahini, a green herb, and a green hot sauce). There was plenty of tahini on my sandwich so I didn't need anymore, but baby the other two sauces were amazing!!! They added more depth to the sandwich and I'm anticipating revisiting this place again for another BOMB sandwich. I hope this place stays awhile, because usually places in that little corner don't last long . read more

Very good, much better than typical food court food (more of a quick sit down level of food). My husband had the spicy chicken and rice and really liked it. It was flavorful and the extra sauces were very good too (they gave extra spicy sauce at no charge). I got bubble tea and it was good too. No complaints. read more

I was having a relaxing afternoon at Menlo Park mall and went looking for a vegetarian meal at the food court. The Hummus Grill caught my eye, I don't have a chance to visit this mall very often so I don't remember it being in the food court the last time I was at this mall. I ordered falafel on a pita. The pita had salad, tahini and two hot sauces of different strengths (one was two strong so I didn't have much of it). Service was not super friendly but at least I didn't have to wait too long for my food. The woman who came after me got her order before I did but maybe that was because she ordered chicken. LOL, be wary of the reviews on this page, as people are often commenting on Bubble team and fish(?) at a Falafel place.. Great kebabs, great spices/taste, good portions, fair price. It's nice to see more options at a mall food court these days. But if you are looking to avoid long lines, ask yourself, "Is there a reason there is no line at Hummus Grill?" The answer is yes, and the reason is the food is not good -- even by mall food court standards. Low quality ingredients prepared poorly. And prices are not even cheap! So why go there? Bubble Tea: I ordered a drink clearly and they did not make it right. They forgot one of the toppings. They remade it but it arrived much after my food did. Tea was ok, tapocia pearls were fresh but the milk foam was lacking. Overall I much prefer the teas and milk foam at Gong Cha and Sunmerry. Also I worry this place doesn't get enough turn over with the teas and not sure how fresh they would be. Food: I ordered a falafel salad. The hummus was runny and tasteless. The vegetables seemed fresh. The falafel seemed fresh. The sauces they gave with the meal were ok. I found a hair in the food so I did not finish it. Overall I do not think this place is worth the money or wait. Go to maumouns in new Brunswick. It's cheaper, more authentic and all around better. I really wanted to like this place!! read more
