    Pearl Milk Tea

I stopped by here just the other day because I saw an ad on Facebook about their opening week sale -- BOGO on select drinks. I went with a group of 5 people around 8 pm and they ran out of boba for one of my friends and he was pretty disappointed. Regardless, we did get a good deal so I was satisfied. I got the Lemon Wintermelon with Basil Seeds and I really liked it --especially since their boba was very soft and chewy. Next time, I'll definitely go earlier on in the day to avoid not getting boba!

Gong Cha has been my go to chain for bubble tea for the last 5 years! I usually treat myself to bubble tea about once a month if not more frequently, so it was a huge win to find out that this location is open during COVID. I ordered through yelp the first time but had to wait 30 minutes past the time it said it was prepared because I think they wait until you reach the store to make sure it's fresh, and...I guess I can't really fault Gong Cha if the person in front of me in line decided to order 20 teas. The next time I ordered, I called and was pleasantly surprised. The staff on the phone asked me when I would get there by so that my order wasn't ready too early and sitting there for too long. Super considerate especially now during the pandemic. Did not have to wait this time. Here's what I recommend: Cold black milk tea with pearls - 30% sugar (it's just sweet enough at this level! This is my go to!) Cold taro milk tea - 30% sugar (so good!!! This is the go to for almost all of my friends) Lychee Oolong - 0% sugar (the lychee juice is just sweet enough to get away with no additional sugar. Highly recommend when you want something light and refreshing!) Lemon wintermelon basil seeds - this drink is so unique and delicious, but the mix comes pre-made and you can't control the sugar level. I really wish they update this so the sugar level can be changed because it's a little too sweet.

This location opened up a few days ago! The menu is comparable to most other Gong Cha locations, and didn't seem limited by their smaller size. If you've ever been to a Gong Cha then you know it's solid. If you haven't then you will definitely enjoy their drinks! It's not your run of the mill mall bubble tea!

OneZo is located in the shops of the apartment complex directly behind the shopping strip. I was warmly greeted upon entering by who I believe was the owner. He walked me through the many selections and helped me place my order. The only thing I did not love was having to give my phone number for the order and being enrolled in the rewards program (the easy fix is to opt out). The space was super clean. My order came in short form and I was pleasantly surprised when the young lady handed me the beverage with everything I needed (straw, napkins, etc). I know it was because of my physical state but I genuinely appreciated. The boba was absolutely delicious. I will definitely make it a point to go back the next time I'm at DSW.

I really like that they had 3 boba options: Brown sugar, Strawberry, and Honey. On their website there seems to be even more but they weren't advertised so maybe they weren't available at the time. The other boba listed on their website are Taro, Black Sesame, Mango, Chrysanthemum, and OneZo Triple. What we ordered: - Passion Fruit Green Tea with Strawberry Boba - Taro Sesame Milk Tea I am a big fan of the strawberry boba and both drinks were pretty good. I would definitely return to try out other things. I noticed that they also have ice cream as well There is a parking lot but it shares it with the other businesses and the apartment complex so it was limited. We snuck in a spot for "future residents". Not sure how much it is monitored but we were fine even though our drinks took a particularly long time. I think there might have been some issues with the order before us. They did apologize for the delay.

Love coming here and seeing people from toddler age to folks with their grandparents. Bubble tea is for all! My husband loves to try the new fruity varieties that get added to the menu. Every few weeks there is a new, unique fruit combination that blows him away. I stick to my tried and true Thai iced tea with boba, and NOWHERE else has been able to compete. The details are what makes this place stand out. If you buy multiple drinks, they place your order in an adorable, reusable purple bag. Also, there is a rewards program. So if you're an avid boba drinker, make sure you sign up. Every few orders you can score a free bite to eat or bubble tea. Since it's a hit spot, this place can get packed at peak times (post work hours, and especially on weekends). So happy to have such a lovely shop in my town. Thanks, Akihi!

The inside was very different from your usual bubble tea spot, and it was very welcoming and cozy. I could definitely see myself just chilling and reading a book while enjoying my food and drink. I placed my order through the kiosk while looking over the menu, which had a lot of good options. I couldn't make up my mind and decided to go with the bubble tea and Oreo waffle crepe. Both items were good, and I enjoyed the waffle, which had ice cream as the filling and was stuffed with fillings, but it was a little difficult to eat since the wrapper is not very practical, and I had to use my hands, so it got a bit messy. Did I regret it? No way, I loved it; hopefully, they would just have a better container for it, lol. Definitely will get a sugar rush, so be careful hahaha. I would definitely go back to try the other flavors

This Gong Cha location in Edison, NJ is gargantuan with abundant tables and chairs! It is a clean, well light relaxing atmosphere. I can imagine the table hibernation occupied by patrons lingering for hours as I would with journaling and poetry separately. The atmosphere is decorated with Japanese animation sketches of characters throughout this traditional brick and mortar store. The drink lid also contain animation sketches. As a Asian American woman, I do not have a iota for taken an interest in Asian animation sketches and never did. However, I have a strong predilection for traditional fictional cartoon characters as Hello Kitty, Charlie Brown, Snoopy, or Paddington Bear. This Edison, NJ Gong Cha contains a free parking lot that is shared among neighboring business of a shopping complex 863 Logan Plaza. There are two large Japanese beckoning cats maneki-neko 招き猫 at the register which are adorable and beautiful. Customer service is prompt and efficient because I was the sole customer at that moment. A fleeting moment is all I need to attain my default drink. The female server/cashier Keshia is efficient and attentive. I did receive a sales receipt. Peach green tea, medium $6.50 I requested Oolong tea, but the cashier inadvertently inputted my order in the register as green tea. However, my sales receipt attained stated "Notes: oolong." The tea actually did taste Oolong as well as the dark coloring which my order is accurate. One medium drink with grass jelly loeng4 fan2 涼粉 $.075, regular ice 100%, and sugar 30%. I desired this drink to be cold and no milk which my requests were fulfilled and satisfied. The tea was standard but good quality. I have a predilection for Oolong and green tea - particularly Matcha green tea. The ice, as usual, entirely melted and my drink became room temperature - this time during my long-haul car ride returning to NYC. The grass jelly is average, somewhat served chilled and paucity for minimal quantity but a nice delight. I strongly believe there is a price discrimination for preferential treatment as New Jersey is significantly lowered price than its neighbor state New York. For $6.50 medium drink it is very reasonable price by the economic standards of stagflation 2026 era. If I live within distance from Edison, New Jersey and have driving skills enabling car ownership I would surely make the occasional trek to this Edison, NJ bubble tea business.
