This is a 60-year-old lamp...I doubt Bed Bath and Beyond would have what I need So I went to Ensler Lighting in Berkeley and spent my $$ there instead. At first the guy at Ensler also wasn't certain he had what I needed, but guess what? He took the time to look around and experiment and ultimately he was able to jury-rig something that worked great. Imagine that?

I have used Kohl several times this past few months to solve various issues after a home remodel and spa installation. Kohl's work is meticulous and he explains exactly what he is doing and why. He has changed switches for me to set up dimmers, upgraded my electrical panel, and solved a problem with a fuse routinely tripped by a hairdryer. I've used Kohl twice so far for electrical work on our home in Alamo. The first job was fairly simple, just replacing some electrical outlets that had become a bit of a hazard. The second job was more complex, running a 220 line from the panel for an electric hot water heater conversion. For both instances, he was first of all fair in his pricing, but also very efficient in timely execution. Left everything cleaner than when he started. As more needs come up, he will definitely be my go-to guy!! read more

Not only did Kevin prevent this kid from getting struck by another vehicle, but he also assisted in calling for help and even gave a hug to this complete stranger who was crying and completely freaked out. I don't know about you, but that is the kind of contractor that I want to hire to work on my jobs and in my own house. I recommend Kevin and KR Electric with TEN stars.
