I would even go back to the DC area just to get my nails done by the same talented young lady I've been loyal to for the past 23 years. It's challenging to change once you're accustomed to a familiar person and service. Surprisingly, my husband suggested Humble Nails, it's located next door to a Vietnamese restaurant we frequent. To my delight, Ann from Humble Nails exceeded my expectations. She took her time, provided a relaxing massage, and engaged me in a pleasant conversation. I went for a refill and showed a picture of the nails I wanted, very simple. The lady who did my nails didn't compare the lengths of the nails so they're all different lengths and I wanted a square shape, they are bulky and badly shaped. The gel polish on top was very bulky and the nail tech didn't use the same color base so it's half clear and half pink. The heart that was drawn on looked like Mickey Mouse. I went back for a redo and this time the SAME nail tech took her time and do way more than she initially did. It's still not shaped correctly or done right so I will not be returning. The polish isn't fully on the nail, the acrylic is very bulky and uneven, the polish ain't even all the way to the top of my nail so it looks like I have some type of French manicure on some nails. read more

Best kept nail secret in Houston area! I am surprised every time I come here that there isn't a line out the door! I have never been happier with my nails and toes. I will try to cover just a few points of all the wonderfulness about Humble Nails. Cleanliness -- they use a new plastic liner for each new customer in the pedicure tub. All the ladies are constantly cleaning everything between each customer. Sparkling clean and fresh! ARTISTS-- Each technician is a talented artist. The ladies are experts at their jobs! My fingers and toes look like they belong to a movie star! Quality work-- I have never had a nail break or even had polish chip. I don't baby my nails-- I don't use them as screwdrivers and crowbars either though! I do take care of them. My gorgeous nails last a whole month until I come back to get them filled. Amazing prices-- Humble Nails makes it possible for me to have beautiful nails and toes even though I'm on a fixed income. This is huge for me. I came and got my nails done last Monday I had acrylics done by Saturday they were lifting and three came off I called and they said they would fix them but I decided to have them removed this was my first visit to this place and after having them removed by 2 different techs one of my hands still has acrylic on it and glue all over my finger tips I received no refund of any kind I wasn't going to post a bad review because things happen and if they would have done at least a partial refund I would have felt better I paid 56 including tip and didn't even get to keep my nails a full week the only nice thing I can say is they were nice people read more

Went to this place because it was the only one open for service at 9 (even though the tech didn't get there til 9:15) on my way to work and I was overdue to get my nails done. I needed a refill and shellac. The lady I got was stern and argued with me about the length I wanted (short) and in the end after her telling her friends an animated story my nails are chunky, the polish is on my skin around my cuticles, and just plan gross. Definitely giving this place 5 stars. My nail polish and toe polish are on point no mistakes and didn't get any on the skin. The take their time with whatever service you get and are not rushing to finish. There are more than enough techs so you aren't just sitting around in the pedicure chair until your water gets cold. I've been to two nail salons on the side of town and as they say 3rd times a charm because I had a great experience so far compared to the other places.
