We've been very happy going to this restaurant in the past however, I was in this week and the music was so loud we couldn't hear anybody talking and when we asked the server she sent her manager over and the manager said there's no way she can control the volume that it was controlled by corporate She then proceeded to tell us that they were a modern hip bistro, but could not figure out how to split the check. Which to me is a contradiction. I just want to state that the service was beyond exceptional! I was greeted right away and I chose to sit at the bar. The bartender immediately introduced herself and asked me what I wanted to drink. I ordered a soda. I was then greeted by Yahjaira who was beyond sweet and attentive. I mentioned to her it was my first time in and that I had been wanting to try this establishment but I live very far. She was very helpful with the menu and after some questions I ordered the Forno Bread and the Cremini Sachetti. The food came out in RECORD time, I was actually shocked at how fast it came. The food is phenomenal! The pasta was so creamy and incredibly flavorful, the bread was soft but crisp in such a perfect manner. The atmosphere was perfect. The quality of food and the quality of service made this experience top tier. I want to highlight the service provided by Yahjaira, I'm not sure if she is a part of management but if she isn't you might want to consider it. I'm looking forward to bringing my family here soon. We were in the Desert Ridge area shopping longer than we had planned for and decided to order a 'to go' pizza to take home. I found Humble Bistro nearby on High Street and called in our order for a "Classy Girl" (margherita) pizza and a "3-Ball" meatball appetizer. Our home was a short drive away so got home with the food still warm. The unique oval shape of the pizza was appealing in appearance and tasty with a slightly chewy, perfectly baked crust, a balanced tasty tomato sauce, melted mozzarella and fresh basil leaves. It was excellent. I opened the meatballs 'to go' container and was surprised to find 3 golf ball sized meatballs, noricotta cheese topping as described on the menu. My wife mentioned that she thought the price of the pizza and app was kind of high at over $32. Reading the menu on my phone I had misread the price of the meatballs thinking they were $8 instead of $13 as the 1 and 3 were printed so close together it looked like an 8. At $8 I would have thought the meatballs reasonably priced, at $13 for 3 meatballs ($4.33 each) that were at best 2 ounces, without the ricotta was overpriced and a poor value. We'll go back for the pizza, well worth the $17 price and the vibe of the bistro but will pass on the meatballs. read more

Twice recommended by others - what a disappointment. The noise level is over the top to the point it is hard to have a conversation. The food was only so-so! The service very indifferent - even argumentative. The first two wines ordered were out of stock. When ordered 4 nine ounce glasses, the server argued that it would be better to order a bottle since there were four glasses. We explained to her that a bottle of wine has 25+ ounces; that's only 6+ ounces each. The the bar manager came over and argued the same. I don't think we will be back!!!! read more

My friends ordered the Brussels which were great. I got the Gentleman's pizza, combination of sweet and spicy it was so good and so filling. I got a pizza on my own and ate all but 1 big slice that I took home. I would definitely recommend this place and that pizza specifically. Honestly they had a lot of things on the menu I wanted to get and a lot of things I would try but it will be hard for me to want to even get anything besides the gentleman's pizza. We wandered into this place because half of the restaurants on high Street were closed on Monday night. What an amazing surprise!! The food was incredible! We started out with some great appetizers including the hummus and the Caprese, neither of which were traditionally made. Their twist on everything is just a culinary delight! My friend and I come here all the time because it's a convenient location. Rarely has a wait (sometimes we sit at the bar). We've been waiting for this spot to open and it was definitely worth the wait. To begin with, we asked to be on the waitlist to get a spot for 4 for dinner and the hostess was incredibly kind and accommodating. I want to say her name was Anna or Hannah. We were seated and our waitress was really kind, very well versed on the menu and the food did not disappoint. The photos do not do the food justice, absolutely flavor filled and exceptional. I don't remember waiting much for the food to come out despite knowing the lasagna baked for 16min. All of their pastas and doughs are made fresh daily and it certainly tasted that way. Can't nail down exactly why we changed our plans mid-stride, but it was definitely the right move. For instance, our barkeep was a northerner named "Phoenix"! They have a vast array of wines & draft beers, an extensive menu (we shared a delicious pizza, 'The Gentleman', was exquisitely prepared), and a catchy ambiance with a Dean Martin/Tony Bennett/Frank Sinatra sound coming from the rafters. We used to live nextdoor to this restaurant and we were bummed when La Bocca had closed. We were excited to give this place a try but it was really just okay... Perhaps dine in may be a better option as we opted for take out one night. We got the ceasar salad - which is pretty spicy and I prefer a classic ceasar but there's no option for this. The poached egg may have cut down on the spiciness however they forgot the poached egg in our to go order... The pizza was just okay, we got one with meat on it. The hostess wasn't really paying attention to us when we picked up our food and paid at the bar and proceeded to question us when we left whether or not we actually paid for our food, which was awkward. I'm simply obsessed! For starters, I'm an O.G. Humble Pie fan. When I heard about this new concept they were creating, I couldn't imagine it living up to Humble Pie! But sure enough... It did. And I've been back many times since. Their entire menu looks amazing. However each time I've been, I haven't been able to stray from my usual order. The Not-So-Humble Caesar, Gentleman's Pizza and a side of their Jalapeño Ranch. Just trust me! It's pure perfection. I love their happy hour deal also - $6 before 6pm. And I'm excited for the cooler weather to kick in so that I can enjoy their awesome patio. To top it all off, the team here is awesome and has made each visit very memorable! Just went to dinner at the Gilbert location. We started with the 3 Ball (meatballs) and Humble wings. The marinara sauce is so addicting and the wings were double fried so they were extra crispy. Both were excellent! My husband had Caesar Salad with shrimp. It came with crispy brussels sprout leaves on top. He doesn't really like brussel sprouts but did not mind them at all and he really liked the salad. I like to try pizza and lasagna any time they are on the menu - and take home leftovers. The lasagna here may be my new favorite and the margarita pizza was awesome. The crust was perfectly crispy!
