Human IT is trying to do a good thing unfortunately they seem to fail at it. I bought a hotspot from them in December 2023 and used it on a few occasions. After the hurricane here in Texas, I had a dire need for electricity and internet. It was at this time that I realized that my hotspot was pretty much useless. My download speed averages around 4 Mbps; Upload is around 1Mbps. Human IT is offering hotspots from Mobile Citizen (who offers T-Mobile hotspots). So when I called Human IT about the problem, they have to refer me over to Mobile Citizen who then refers me over to T-Mobile. T-Mobile tells me they can't help me because I am not authorized business user with Mobile Citizen. So I call Mobile Citizen and then they tell me to call Human IT. Meanwhile each month I am paying $14.99 for the worst customer support of the ages. I was told that if I wanted a refund I had to talk to the manager. Of course the manager was in a meeting and "may" call me back. Of course he never did! So I have this hotspot that costed me $148 (with six months of service). My advice is don't buy your hotspot from Mobile Citizen. You will get what you pay for which is a paperweight. read more

I have a low- income subsidized Wi-Fi hotspot plan . This is by far the best and most reliable wifi device and service I have ever had! There are never connection issues even in extreme weather. The hotspot battery has a long life. read more

I just wanna say, although I have not been to this location in Bell. My entire experience with Human IT has been incredible. The customer Service is outstanding. The people seem genuinely kind and none of that fake customer Service BS. They were prompt efficient and followed through and they're always available when I call and they always respond to emails. If you are someone in need of a Wi-Fi hotspot but can't afford the regular service providers and have a low income and can reflect that with either some sort of Assistance documents... I emailed an inquiry, since I had repeatedly tried to donate old computers to a church school's sister school in Africa and its efforts to prevent child trafficking of its students there. After the fire, I asked if they help wipe these so I could rapidly donate them. I received truly kind emails then a gift of extremely needed, invaluable tech supplies so I could stay connected after the fire, without which I had started to be in a undesirable situation, especially in these circumstances. These were perfect for my needs and came just in time, as if they somehow just knew. These were also straightforward to start using so I can learn how before the situation turned worse. I paid for my hotspot service to be reactivated on Jan. 13, 2025 and today is Jan. 27, 2025 and I have yet to receive my new sim card for my hotspot. When I called to ask about the issue a guy named Joe hung up on me. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL !!! I am writing this review on February 6th. I say this because I ordered a computer on January 28th. My order status has shown awaiting delivery for over 3 days now. I got a good deal on a Lenovo because I am on Social Security so this is why I ordered here. The marketing says the product ships in 72 hours. What really irritates me is that I cannot contact these people over the phone. I even tried Facebook messaging. I don't have the money that allows me to get ripped off. I only hope this will convince someone to contact me and let me know what's happening with my computer. I am revising my review. Just received an e-mail stating my order has shipped. I am giving one star but before I go into the issue encountered I will say when the service worked it was useful and affordable. The problem started when equipment started failing. My second modem (and third modem battery) in a short period of time stopped working. I called tech support and they transfered me to tech support at two other companies but no resolution was found. Since I could no longer get internet, which is a very difficult situation to be in, I called to cancel my service. At first Human I-T ignored my calls and email (which I was sending from the library at this point). Finally I sent them a longer email outlining the next steps I was preparing to take. This got their attention but they only agreed to refund a small portion of the money I had prepaid for service (roughly 1/3 which was $40). This is unacceptable because the reason I was forced into cancellation was due to the service failing to work. It was not a quality issue, there was simply zero service. I bought a laptop from PCs for People, their partner company and it was cheap and worked great. But watch out for Human I-T, a company claiming to help with accessibilty to low cost internet who will blatantly rip of those same people they claim to want to help. read more

I placed an order for a pc almost two months ago and tracking says it was shipped and delivered by UPS but I never got it after weeks of trying to talk to someone with no success and emails never answered I placed a claim with UPS but they are only investigating, one of the calls was answered by an answering service but all he wanted was to have someone call me about signing up for Internet service, he said someone was going to call me but they never did. Human IT Connect hooked me up with internet I can afford, but it is unfortunately increasingly substandard in speed. They throttle social media sites - especially instagram for some reason, which barely loads pictures, unless I turn my wifi off and use cellular data. Fairly often, I have to "turn off wifi" then turn it back on 5x just to get a web page to load. They claimed speed would be 2-15 mbps but it's often much less than that. Websites can take forever to load and it makes me feel like I'm back in 2002. This even happens very late at night, 2am, 4am - off peak times. The speed is irregular and frustrating. Writing this review and getting it to post took me 2-2.5 times longer than it should have because of the slow internet speed and this website taking forever to fully load. read more

I am soooo blessed to have been assisted by Stephannie at Human IT. I was at my wits end as a senior and trying to make ends meet. I need the internet to keep me stay active and informed but the internet company's rates keep getting higher and higher. Even after I inquired of them if they had any programs to assist, they said no. But then, I got a flyer in the mail and thought I'd call the number. I wish I'd jotted down the name of the first person who assisted me. She said she'd put a rush through on my behalf and she did. Thank you to her. I have call multiple times trying to get assistance with low income internet and a free chromebook. I stared calling when school was converted to online only. I have submitted my proof but I havent heard nothing since April 8 2020 which was my third time calling. Dora told me my letter was outdated, in fact she was reading the wrong date. I understand that human I T has helped several community colleges with free computers. I am disappointed in the lack of customer service with an individual that is just trying to finish this semester. Not sure what's going on, but I have been trying to sign up for low cost internet with this company, and they are unresponsive to my questions, and if they do respond they take hours/days to do so. i thought this company was to help lower income seniors get internet, but all i have had is problems with no internet and i'm out of 96.00. it took a long time for them to send out the hot spot to get internet and it never worked. i spent several hours being transferred around to get it to work and no one could... then they transferred me over to t mobile to check out coverage and t mobile said that the tower had been down for a week, and they would have someone come out in 3 days to repair and they would let me know when to try connecting to the hot spot. only no one ever called me, so again i spent a long time on the phone being transferred around the loop again only for t mobile saying that the hot spot unit didn't work and to send it back. i contacted human it and they sent a label and i returned it. then i get a call after i asked for my 96.00 back that i paid for the unit and they said the battery wasn't in the return, which isn't true, and they would now only refund 40.00. i want my full amount that i paid them, back. this is a company that says they are helping low income, and seniors get connected to the internet, but all they did is cause a lot of hardship and took my money and won't refund the full amount. seriously, i went with another cable internet company because i was out of internet for a month, and human i-t thinks i wanted their battery! be wary of this company! i'm contacting fcc and other agencies about this matter. read more

This seems like a good company doing good work, and the reviews are mostly positive. I am sorry but mine is not positive. I am a senior man existing on a minimal SS payment. I ordered a computer from them and it arrived promptly but would NOT boot up. I have filled out the form on their website half a dozen times but NO ONE at the company has contacted me ever, despite leaving my email and phone number. They keep their own phone number a secret and do not publish it. (Very sus) The one phone number I was able to find says it is disconnected. Very disappointed in the product and the service. Worst customer service experience of my life. Not exaggerating. Sold me a device they didn't have in stock. I didn't find out until I reach out to them the day after my device was supposed to arrive. I purchased the correct device and had service for 2 months. Was in a car accident was in the ER and a week late on my third payment. It's been 2 weeks after I made my payment and still have no service. There is no communication and customer service acts like they don't care. Worst experience of my life. read more

The environment was very clean and orderly and the sense of the workers being a cohesive TEAM was evident. Everyone was happy doing their job and the energy of the place was very positive.
