This location is much larger than the ones in our area, although I do feel like my local location is better on pricing on most items. I felt like their appliances were decently priced, but all of their smaller items and much of the furniture was priced where it likely sticks around there for a bit before it moves. This location also didn't have much as far as leftover building materials and similar, which I thought was more their primary staple. Either way, it's still worth the stop, but don't plan to find the deal of the day here.

Went to see if they had some exterior paint for a mural I'm doing in the backyard. I was able to find the paint I needed as well as a rug and some picture canvases. The store had a lot of eclectic find, vintage vines, stuff to redo, decorate and design your house. The staff were pretty friendly. There's no actual layout of the store, things are just neatly placed wherever they go. All in all I do recommend, prices were decent. Some items were overpriced, but majority were decent price. They also take donations for items.

Seldomly find a value for a bunch of old used products. This thrift shop isn't very thrifty anymore.

Since my last review, Luke Skyhopper crossed the rainbow bridge (it felt like I lost a part of my heart losing that kiddo, but 13?ish years was a good life bubs). I think he was one of the last Petco featured buns RRI had, and my goodness am I glad I found him. After his passing my home felt quiet, and the same week I of course went to "just look" and ended up taking home two new bunnos now named Mulder and Scully. Their names were originally Tobias and Locke? *She was part of a litter in the rescue so if you have a bunno from here that's approximately 4/5 I may have their sibling! They were dumped or so I was told, by a family that loved them dearly (Scully was carried around by a little girl). Mulder (the lop) was from a breeder and bonded to Scully in the previous owner's home. They were supposed to have their belongings dropped off at the rescue, they did not. Thankfully I have a fully set free-roam bunno home so they settled in easily. Scully was petrified of dogs or even hearing them. Mulder was urine scalded. It's been a few years and they're thriving now. I've uploaded photos in case they were yours and you'd love to see an update on them. They're gonna live their best lives with me forever. I promise. Everything said above. I boarded the kids here and took a shot. They were okay and didn't have any issues besides it being insanely hot. *This was also summer of last year though. When the fires broke out in January, I immediately thought of air quality knowing their location and what they were working with. I confirmed and sent two air purifiers because I understand not just human health, but also bunny health and my goodness they are sensitive little loves. When I called to be sure they got there/were received, I was made to feel like the two HEPA air purifiers were not good enough because they were "so tiny." When I run a single one in my home just fine. =/ I don't have the world, but I'll give what I can, especially to those who I care about the best I can first. This was also in the midst of me volunteering daily to collect for victims and first responders. But I bit my tongue. This rescue has had its issues of bunnies being abandoned out front and being eaten by the roofing company's dogs. It wasn't fair to the buns and they deserved a chance but my goodness that could have been prevented. I notice the difference between their social media stirring right now so here's some more perspective. I have immense gratitude for those who have lovingly cared for the buns I've adopted, and those who came into this rescue. The 3* is for you.

The calm and focus the practice provides sets my tone for the week. I've tried yoga a bunch of times but the static poses weren't for me. And sitting still to meditate doesn't work for me either. Tai chi is like a moving meditation that allows me to tune out the world and my thoughts (or at least keep trying to--it's a practice). At first, it seemed like a lot to learn, but Angie breaks down the movements step by step and reminds us that "any movement is good movement" in case people are still learning. I used to park myself right behind one of the regulars and follow him, and now I'm one of those regulars myself Even though I've been coming for years, I still find new subtleties in different parts of the form. It has also given me great balance, better than I've ever had in my life. I once took a tai chi course that met inside and was very technically precise. I so much prefer doing it outside in the park. Sometimes I wish for specific critique of my form but we do get that during the periodic intermediate/advanced classes she offers. There are generally anywhere from 25-50 people at a session. It's donation based (cash or Venmo), so free if you want to just check it out. I always give because it's so worth it to me.
