Human Claw Machine - how it works
    Stella K.

This was quite a unique sight as I was making my round at the Great Mall. I have seen many claw machines, but never a "human" claw machine. It looks gimmicky. You lie on your stomach on this contraption that moves you over the pit of plushes so you can choose one. See photo listing several price points. Entry cost is only $10. The "ride" is quite short, so take a close look at all the plushes in the box to have a good idea which one you would like before you start this "ride". Note, there is a weight limit of 150 lbs.

Yes, it is a human claw machine

Also the quality of the stuffies are great given the cost- lots of Sanrio and Pokémon characters.

We met with the manager prior to the birthday for a walkthrough of the party space, and we coordinated our group going from our party to the Lego movie after the party. I had a million questions as a detailed planner and the team were incredibly efficient at answering all of my pre questions so that I could ensure my guests had all if the information upon arrival. Ultimately, we had a 5 star experience. This is an excellent venue because your group is together for the party and then everyone can free play and explore for as long as they want afterwards. It was so delightful to see all of the kids and parents engaged in their activities of choice when the party room ended. We learned that all of our guests had a blast and many kids are still talking about our son's party to this day. This is on par price wise for the jumping birthday places, so we felt like we had a unique and fun birthday experience for about the same price as we would have paid for the standard jump birthday. We've been to 4 birthday's at the same jump house business this year, so we loved mixing it up for our guests. The facility is awesome, staff are super friendly and the experience is wonderful! At the end of our party, a super sweet employee helped us make 2 trips with their wagon to our car with gifts. She packed all of our gifts in our car and we were on our way! Such a wonderful experience end to end.

I'm not sure it's worth $30 though. My toddler got bored after 1hr but she's a bit young. The 4D ninjago movie was entertaining for me and maybe for my daughter, not sure, she was stoic about it. Bathrooms were clean enough. Coffee tasted decent and was $3.85. If we go next time, will try laser maze and train ride. Didn't see the train ride until after we exited.

Ok I'll start with the pros: great location with plenty of ease with parking, restaurants around etc (pro tip: you can get some party trays from ramen 101 next door!), the facility was very clean (i even saw they were deep cleaning on their IG the day before the party), the space while small was very thoughtfully arranged and decorated, also we didn't choose a theme but they obviously were thoughtful because they had pretty pink/purple decor + plates etc out to match my daughter's theme, the ladies were super friendly and helpful from start to end, the space is actually ideal for younger kids because it's not toooo big, it's contained enough with freedom for littles to roam around safely and comfortably, the activities were great for the wide age range we had (3-9yo!) and all the kids had fun and participated well, i liked that they scaffolded structured activities with free play, the information about the reservation, timeframes etc were clearly communicated and reminders were provided throughout our reservation time, oh and there's a FRIDGE! My daughter had a blast and said it was the best day ever :) Some feedback I do have are (that do not detract from the overall good review): 1. The communication prior to the day itself is not very consistent. There's a number to text and i didn't always get satisfactory responses, i had to just try to figure out the info from the website. 2. It was clearly communicated the time for play + food would be 1 hour and 30 mins however I do feel the transition from play to food is a little rushed as kiddos take awhile to get out of the play area and they have to put on their shoes, wash their hands etc, so i would suggest either giving hosts options to transition earlier for enough time for the food, or perhaps allowing for 45 mins for food time in the package seems fair. I felt bad rushing everyone out towards the end and thankfully we had lots of helping putting everything back in the car! 3. It is a small space, especially during food + cake cutting time. It felt a little tight for parents with a group of 15 kids (and half of them were sibling sets!) Overall everyone had a great time. I'd recommend it for a party for younger children for sure (my kid who had a birthday turned 4), but they def had activities that all kids felt included!

Unfortunately, our experience did not meet those expectations. From what my son described and from my conversations with staff, a significant portion of the day appeared to be unstructured free play. While there was some instruction related to the weekly topic, much of the day seemed to involve activities such as playing with Legos and socializing. My son reported spending only one to two hours on the advertised AI-related activities. Another concern was the lack of transparency regarding daily activities. Parents were not permitted to observe the program, and when I asked staff for a detailed breakdown of the curriculum and daily schedule, I was unable to get a clear explanation of what the children were learning or accomplishing throughout the week. My son also mentioned that children ate lunch on the floor and that there were ants present in the eating area, which raised concerns about cleanliness and supervision. When I contacted the camp to discuss my concerns, I did not feel that they were adequately addressed. Instead of receiving specific information about the program, I was told that other children were enjoying themselves. While it's great that children are having fun, I enrolled my son in this camp because it was marketed as an educational experience, and I expected a stronger academic component for the price. As a result, I chose to withdraw my son from the program. Unfortunately, I was unable to obtain a refund. Parents considering this camp may want to ask detailed questions about the daily schedule, instructional time, and learning objectives to ensure the program aligns with their expectations.

We had originally considered having a petting zoo, but after finding Bunny Gurus, we realized it was actually the better option for our party. Instead of a large setup with lots of different animals competing for attention, this gave the kids a more personal, hands-on experience with the bunnies. They were able to slow down, interact with them, and really enjoy the experience in a way that wouldn't have been possible with a traditional petting zoo. From the very beginning, the booking process was seamless. They responded quickly to my inquiry, answered all of my questions, and made everything incredibly easy. Their website clearly explained the different packages, and we chose the smaller package, which still included 10 adorable bunnies--more than enough for our party! The staff was absolutely wonderful with the children. They were patient, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the rabbits they care for. They shared fun facts about each bunny's personality and habits while encouraging the kids to gently interact with them, build trust, and bond with the animals. They made each child feel special by pointing out when a bunny seemed to like them, which really boosted the kids' confidence and made the experience even more meaningful. They brought everything needed for the setup, along with a huge variety of bunny-safe treats that kept the kids engaged throughout the event. The children loved getting to feed the rabbits, watch them do fun tricks with certain treats, and our birthday kids even got the opportunity to hold a bunny at the end! If you're looking for a unique, interactive, and memorable party experience, I can't recommend Bunny Gurus enough. It was such a special addition to our celebration, and both the kids and adults absolutely loved it!
