Human Claw Machine - how it works
    Stella K.

This was quite a unique sight as I was making my round at the Great Mall. I have seen many claw machines, but never a "human" claw machine. It looks gimmicky. You lie on your stomach on this contraption that moves you over the pit of plushes so you can choose one. See photo listing several price points. Entry cost is only $10. The "ride" is quite short, so take a close look at all the plushes in the box to have a good idea which one you would like before you start this "ride". Note, there is a weight limit of 150 lbs.

Yes, it is a human claw machine

Also the quality of the stuffies are great given the cost- lots of Sanrio and Pokémon characters.

I especially liked the police chase one, it was funny and harrowing. He even did simultaneous demonstrations for the kids and adults which was impressive Train - it was similar to the toy story ride at Disney where you shot things as you ride around with your magic wand to get points Overall this was a very unique experience that my baby enjoyed, we ended up staying for 5 hours and she asked to go again. As there was no lines or crowds on a weekday afternoon, everything was so seamless and quick that we got to do everything we wanted and switched or repeated activities instantly. I would recommend!

I'm not sure it's worth $30 though. My toddler got bored after 1hr but she's a bit young. The 4D ninjago movie was entertaining for me and maybe for my daughter, not sure, she was stoic about it. Bathrooms were clean enough. Coffee tasted decent and was $3.85. If we go next time, will try laser maze and train ride. Didn't see the train ride until after we exited.

My daughter just had her birthday party here. I was nervous about hosting it at a new gym with very…read morelittle information about how parties are run, but the location was convenient and the package fit what we were looking for, so we thought we would give it a shot! Ok I'll start with the pros: great location with plenty of ease with parking, restaurants around etc (pro tip: you can get some party trays from ramen 101 next door!), the facility was very clean (i even saw they were deep cleaning on their IG the day before the party), the space while small was very thoughtfully arranged and decorated, also we didn't choose a theme but they obviously were thoughtful because they had pretty pink/purple decor + plates etc out to match my daughter's theme, the ladies were super friendly and helpful from start to end, the space is actually ideal for younger kids because it's not toooo big, it's contained enough with freedom for littles to roam around safely and comfortably, the activities were great for the wide age range we had (3-9yo!) and all the kids had fun and participated well, i liked that they scaffolded structured activities with free play, the information about the reservation, timeframes etc were clearly communicated and reminders were provided throughout our reservation time, oh and there's a FRIDGE! My daughter had a blast and said it was the best day ever :) Some feedback I do have are (that do not detract from the overall good review): 1. The communication prior to the day itself is not very consistent. There's a number to text and i didn't always get satisfactory responses, i had to just try to figure out the info from the website. 2. It was clearly communicated the time for play + food would be 1 hour and 30 mins however I do feel the transition from play to food is a little rushed as kiddos take awhile to get out of the play area and they have to put on their shoes, wash their hands etc, so i would suggest either giving hosts options to transition earlier for enough time for the food, or perhaps allowing for 45 mins for food time in the package seems fair. I felt bad rushing everyone out towards the end and thankfully we had lots of helping putting everything back in the car! 3. It is a small space, especially during food + cake cutting time. It felt a little tight for parents with a group of 15 kids (and half of them were sibling sets!) Overall everyone had a great time. I'd recommend it for a party for younger children for sure (my kid who had a birthday turned 4), but they def had activities that all kids felt included!

When they have the tables and chairs out there's not really enough room to walk. The gym is big with a lot of equipment and activities but short in time.

The staff was very friendly and assisted the kids with the lego builds and everything was organised and arranged well. Interactive games were organized for the kids and care was taken to engage every kid. The dance with the mascot was fun for the kids. If you have a little lego lover or are looking for a lego /building blocks themed party, highly recommend this place. At the end of the party all the parents were happy to be able to socialize while the kids were completely engrossed with the lego builds and games. The overall experience right from reservations till the end of the party was smooth and the organisers, Chris and Daylan were very pleasant and handled everything well!

Unfortunately, our experience did not meet those expectations. From what my son described and from my conversations with staff, a significant portion of the day appeared to be unstructured free play. While there was some instruction related to the weekly topic, much of the day seemed to involve activities such as playing with Legos and socializing. My son reported spending only one to two hours on the advertised AI-related activities. Another concern was the lack of transparency regarding daily activities. Parents were not permitted to observe the program, and when I asked staff for a detailed breakdown of the curriculum and daily schedule, I was unable to get a clear explanation of what the children were learning or accomplishing throughout the week. My son also mentioned that children ate lunch on the floor and that there were ants present in the eating area, which raised concerns about cleanliness and supervision. When I contacted the camp to discuss my concerns, I did not feel that they were adequately addressed. Instead of receiving specific information about the program, I was told that other children were enjoying themselves. While it's great that children are having fun, I enrolled my son in this camp because it was marketed as an educational experience, and I expected a stronger academic component for the price. As a result, I chose to withdraw my son from the program. Unfortunately, I was unable to obtain a refund. Parents considering this camp may want to ask detailed questions about the daily schedule, instructional time, and learning objectives to ensure the program aligns with their expectations.
