From what my son described and from my conversations with staff, a significant portion of the day appeared to be unstructured free play. While there was some instruction related to the weekly topic, much of the day seemed to involve activities such as playing with Legos and socializing. My son reported spending only one to two hours on the advertised AI-related activities. Another concern was the lack of transparency regarding daily activities. Parents were not permitted to observe the program, and when I asked staff for a detailed breakdown of the curriculum and daily schedule, I was unable to get a clear explanation of what the children were learning or accomplishing throughout the week. My son also mentioned that children ate lunch on the floor and that there were ants present in the eating area, which raised concerns about cleanliness and supervision. When I contacted the camp to discuss my concerns, I did not feel that they were adequately addressed. Instead of receiving specific information about the program, I was told that other children were enjoying themselves. While it's great that children are having fun, I enrolled my son in this camp because it was marketed as an educational experience, and I expected a stronger academic component for the price. As a result, I chose to withdraw my son from the program. Unfortunately, I was unable to obtain a refund. We recently attended birthday party here celebrating our friend's 7th birthday. I thoroughly enjoyed the event. It was highly organized. The kiddos loved the free play and peg boards. I really wish there could have been more time for the peg boards or they could have taken them home. While the thought for the organized activities was there, it was too structured for this age group. The 5-8 years need more free play and are not as spirited for Lego races. It would have been fantastic for the older age range. I was bummed with the food situation. I loved that our friends brought a significant number of snacks. There was hardly any provided by the venue and they were stingy with the pizza. There was only enough for the kids. They were also anal about the food remaining in the kitchen area which I can partially understand given the community pit of legos. I would have traded the pityful and cheap goody bags for the ability to have had more food that could have been eaten in the free play areas. Overall, I would def pick bricks for kids over pump it up! read more

We had our son's birthday party in mid November. He is at the age where he still loves Lego and the event was fun but I can see how older kids could be disappointed. HOWEVER, at the end of the event my wife paid the bill. We discovered that she over paid by ~20% as the employee did not count her deposit in the final bill. We called the facility and they admitted the mistake and said they would refund us. Over a month later and multiple calls and the refund still was not processed and it was all chalked up to "the manager has been busy". It is now approaching 2 months with no action on their part. I completely understand the initial mistake but given this refund has still not processed after many discussions and almost 2 months I am at my limit. I would not trust the employees or this business and I HIGHLY recommend those reading this do not as well read more

Attended a birthday party today for a 6 year olds birthday party. One of the instructors made our child cry rushing him and telling him to hurry up and complete the robotic lego car project the kids chose to participate in. He just stood there watching this man impatiently build the car he had looked forward to completing. Under no circumstances should a 6 year old child be made to cry by a grown a$$ man. If you don't like your job you should stay away especially from children who did nothing to you. I love (sarcasm) when he was questioned about his interaction with my son, he had nothing to say except "I didn't say anything to him," while looking on and seeing my son crying. There was No effort to understand what was wrong but Just an overt ignorance and avoidance. This is not someone you want running your child's most special day of the year and an experience you want for their friends and family. read more

We had my son's 6th birthday party here with about 13 kids. The kids had a blast and were completely engaged from the moment they walked in the door. The staff was very friendly and assisted the kids with the lego builds and everything was organised and arranged well. Interactive games were organized for the kids and care was taken to engage every kid. The dance with the mascot was fun for the kids. If you have a little lego lover or are looking for a lego /building blocks themed party, highly recommend this place. At the end of the party all the parents were happy to be able to socialize while the kids were completely engrossed with the lego builds and games. The overall experience right from reservations till the end of the party was smooth and the organisers, Chris and Daylan were very pleasant and handled everything well! read more

Excellent place to throw a party. We celebrated my son's 6th birthday here. Right from the onset Dayln and team hand held us through all the steps and processes to host and deliver a great party. On the day of the party there were three party hosts that attended our guests for 2 hours. From fun and interactive games to lego play. It was all orchestrated keeping the kiddos in mind. At the half way mark they help you with cake cutting and serving. They also serve pizza and juices to every child. All and and all a place I would very much recommend. We had our son's 8th birthday last Saturday and it was a hit for both the kids and parents. The 2-hour event was well organized and Chris did a good job of getting (and holding) the kids' attention. He explained each game and exercise loudly and clearly and his assistants (there were a total of 5 at our party) were very patient with my son's classmates and their siblings. We had a total of 26 kids at the party and all of them were engaged in each activity. The time flew by quickly (time flies when you're having fun!) and before we knew it, my son, with the help of one of the assistants, was handing out goodie bags to each of his attendees. Chris and his team handled pretty much everything at the party and my son left with a big smile on his face. Now our 6 year old wants his birthday party at Brick 4 Kidz. We celebrated my son's 9th birthday today and truly couldn't have had a better experience or more fun! The hosts kept our group of 17 kids entertained with 2 fun LEGO related races followed by a motorized build. Everything flowed very smoothly between activities, cake, and food and was totally stress free for us. Very nice clean open space with plenty of room for adults to mingle as well. We hosted a birthday party for kids at Bricks 4 Kidz and it was awesome! We toured the location a few weeks before the party because we had not been to Bricks 4 Kidz before. Chris was very helpful and walked us through the plan and logistics for the party. On the day of the party, we were there a few minutes earlier as originally planned and Chris' team organized all events perfectly. All the kids had fun (which was the most important thing!), and the adults were able to freely move around and have conversations while the kids were having fun with legos. Had my son's 7th bday party on 11/10/18, and Chris had been in constant communication answering all questions I had. We got the premiere party package, which includes pizza and drinks and it was a base of $375 for up to 12 kids including the birthday kid. Each additional kid beyond 12 head count cost $18 extra. The only negative I would have to say about the whole process is the price, since I'm a bargain shopper, but it was totally worth it. I was able to bring extra pizza and drinks for the parents and our own cake for $20 clean up fee for outside food. The kids had so much fun and they were entertained and engaged the whole 2 hrs and the parents also had fun and all were very happy. I didn't even have to lift a finger. Chris and his team did everything from leading the games/builds/races/contests, cutting/slicing the cake and handing them out, distributing the pizza and juice to the kids, and at the end, even helped my son give out the goodie bags we brought from home. This was very helpful especially to me, because I was sick that day and wasn't feeling it. Chris and his staff were very interactive and great with the kids and you can tell they love their job. We love the music they played to get the kids pumped up too! I highly recommend this place if you're looking for something other than your run of the mill, usual jumpy/bounce house party and it's a lot safer too! Great party for my twin 6yo boys! All the kids, ages 5-10 had a blast. The staff is awesome - they take care of everything so it is totally stress-free, and they lead the kids through games and Lego-building activities. We had 12 kids and they had 3 adults to run the party. They even have a teenage DJ who keeps the kid-appropriate beats going (some are part of the games). We did our son's 5th birthday here, and it was a great experience. In particular, we loved the mix of free play with organized activities. The organized part was hilarious in how the little ones interpreted the rules and the games. We had a mix of ages and there were games for all ages. The really young ones initially sat back and watched the older ones, but soon enough they wanted in on the action, and cried when the party was over. The estimation games combined with the motor skills competition was a good mix of multi-mode learning. The kids then got together to do robotics. The boys built a remote controlled car, whereas the girls built a drawing robot. It was really cool to see that different interests were catered to. There was enough space for our catered food, for the parents to sit and watch, and also for the kids to sit and eat. It was stress-free with Chris and his staff taking care of everything. Even more important, all of our guests and the birthday boy had so much fun. The games the staff lead were a blast. The place was well decorated and the party flowed really well. All the kids enjoyed the motor car they built with the help from staff and girls enjoyed the automatic spiral too which was built from legos! Overall its a great place for kids who love to play with legos! One thing i would like them to improve is on the party favors they gave in the goodie bags, though they were good, but can put some more toys or other return gifts in that drawstring backpack! Had our child's birthday party here after seeing all the positive reviews. But we left feeling that the team was not tuned for either the size of our party (25 kids) or the age group (ages 4-5). First, the pros: 1. Dragster build and spin art games were conducted very well. Kids were engaged throughout. 2. The switch from one activity to the next was smooth especially since we had lots of kids and there was some chaos. 3. Chris was always reachable and flexible throughout the process. Ann was great with any small requests we had during the party. Excellent service in this regard. Some cringeworthy moments that absolutely must be addressed by this business: 1. Did they have to be SO stingy with their cheap dominos pizzas?! We overheard them tell the kids if you've had 2 slices, you are done! (sound of skin crawling). At least the big venues like Pump it up don't pinch pennies like this. We had to step in and offer our catered food to the kids. 2. Plugging in a 10 minute chat/ad for your business right in the middle of OUR paid event - NOT cool - you should not do this on our time or at the very least get your client's approval beforehand. 3. The loud branding on the goody bags and the goodies were too tacky for us. At the price of entry, we were hoping for much better when we outsourced goodies. We regret not checking these beforehand. 4. Hardly ANY space for catered food to be placed inside. And placing the food right next to the bathrooms is just plain gross. Please move your gift table to that area instead. 5. Age-appropriate games please! One size does not fit all. Their block guessing game dragged on for a good 10 minutes for a group of kids who could barely count to 50. read more

We celebrated our son's eighth birthday here. Having attended couple of birthdays at this place, my son wanted to us to organize a party for his friends here. We had a drop-off party for kids. This place is for older kids (5 and above). Though the max package is for 15 kids, this place can easily take around 20 kids. You don't have to worry about anything, except to get the cake, candle and knife. There are 3-4 well organized lego based games for the kids. Kids were completely engrossed in these team building games and had so much fun. It makes you happy seeing them happy :-). And at the end a nice goody bag :-) read more

The kids had lot of fun with legos including playing fun and educational games and racing with their newly built motorized lego cars. The owner Chris and the staff did an excellent job in keeping the kids engaged throughout the party with interesting games, music and projects. Chris ensured he had enough people for take care of the kids and for hosting the event. They took care of everything needed for a birthday party including cake cutting, food, goody bags etc. There was enough place for the kids to use the legos and build their models, a separate room for the parents so they can enjoy when the kids are busy with building their lego models. We currently have Bricks 4 Kidz running at our elementary school. For the first 3 sessions, the instructor was progressively later and later to the session. First time was 5 minutes, second time was 15 minutes, 3rd time was 20 minutes. The program is independent and not run by the school. When our children were let out from class, there was not an instructor present to greet the kids. When I called Chris, the owner / program director, he was combative and defended his instructor with a blatant disregard for our children or the trust we put in his staff. He was not aware of scheduling changes and he did not offer a refund for the time that his instructor missed. This program is a joke and I would never recommend it to anyone which is sad, because I believe in supporting small business. read more
