The owner Adrian is super humble and kind. He is quick at responding and great listener. He was willing to work for us for our requirements: cleanliness, availability and friendly staff with kids. Also, they were stuck in traffic since it was on a Friday evening. They were communicative and arrived promptly with the gps time they told us. They were friendly and respectful of the surroundings. They had xtra equipments for kids and Adults read more

This man had the audacity to respond to my Chase Bank dispute, telling chase the $100 deposit was a valid charge when he never showed up to the reservation/birthday party and promised numerous of numerous of times he'd refund the $100 deposit I paid. Many of those times he said he already did refund the $100 back to me. Nope. No refund. And he never provided the service I reserved for with the $100 deposit. The AUDACITY. This man is a total SCAM. read more

If possible DO NOT trust Adrian or anyone in We Got Gamez San Jose and this includes his girlfriend. To be fair they are very nice to talk to and courteous and the one star goes to that. I read negative reviews about them and there were few positive reviews as well, after my experience with them I think they are fake. I booked them for my son's birthday party, Adrian said if I pay total sum in advance he will throw in VR games for me. I thought this was a good deal, I paid $420, he was texting me back. The day before party, I checked with him and he went completely off radar. He was suppose to arrive at 11:15 am, there was no sign of him, he was not picking his phone or responding to email. Kids started leaving at 1:30, some very disappointed 10 year old. Yes that's what paid for, disappointing my child on his special day At 1:30 his girlfriend calls to tell me he is running little late!! Seriously?? At this point I was beyond being mad/sad/ and everything in between. Apparently he thought party starts at 1:30. Well, and why was he not picking his phone? She didn't have an answer to that, he finally arrived at 2:30. Mind you, his business address is only 5 mile away from home. Adrian, gave me some story about how a truck was parked in front of his gaming truck and he couldn't come out, his phone was stolen or something..anyway, he promised me he will refund half my money. He NEVER refunded even a penny! Air condition in truck was not working properly, kids were sweating, they had only two chairs and VR headsets were not charged, they didn't have enough game, there were wires all around that kids can easily trip over. Once again, please DO NOT use this business. read more

Fun for the kids Only complaint was we could only schedule them for 2 Hrs Should have planned further in advance read more

The one star is for showing up. Adrian showed a lot of promise when I spoke to him on the phone multiple times prior to booking him. He assured me that he would provide a wonderful experience and assured me that the negative reviews on Yelp were unwarranted. On the day of the event, Adrian showed up an hour late. It was quite stressful not knowing if he was going to show up. The set up took a long time. Unfortunately many of the console and games did not work according to my son. The VR sets were not charged up and had to be charged up on site. He said he was having Wi-Fi connectivity issues and hence the terminals and VR were not working. Not sure if that was true. Also mentioned that a VR set was damaged by a kid, so we needed to pay $500 for it, which we refused. Finally he wrapped up within an hour saying he had to go to another event. Many kids including my son played for barely 5 minutes. Very unprofessional and unprepared for the event. I want to support a small business, but till Adrian shapes up, I would highly discourage anyone from using his game truck service. read more

If there was an option for zero and going straight to hell for being a scammer, I would select that. I hired Adrian for an event I hosted for foster youth teens and he no showed. Not only did he no show, but his phone was shut off and went to voicemail. I get this day in age people will do anything for a dollar, but this was truly low. I waited and waited in the parking lot for over 45 minutes and even drove around, giving him the benefit of the doubt. No show. The teens waited and waited. (Who are generally disappointed by adults in their lives because they always promised things and then let down.) They got so fed up, they started playing football and decided that that was better than a game truck. So Adrian, thank you for being the scum of the earth that you are. Without your poor business model and zero morals/ethics, the party would not have been as successful as it was. I truly hope karma comes back to you in the worst possible of ways. I would NEVER recommend Adrian or any of his "business" associates unless you want to disappoint someone in your life! *I am assuming based on other 1 star reviews that Adrian will say something in his defense. He did not call. Did not text. Did not show up. At any time before or after my party. He simply did not care enough about this party to show up. And yes, he did know who this party served. read more

Wegotgamez was everything I would have expected and MORE! We booked Adrian and his team (family owned and operated!) for my daughters 7th birthday. They showed up early to set up and were ready to go before the party started. Very professional and personable. He made me and my guest comfortable and made sure all the kids and adults were having a good time. His team working the Nerf Wars made sure all the kids were protected and loaded, lol. It was awesome and so much fun. The game truck was a huge hit for any video game lover. He even had the adults in there playing, lol. I am so glad I found them online. Wegotgamez offers top notch service and you will not be disappointed! Thank you Adrian and to your team, we will definitely re-book! read more

I contacted We Got Gamez for my sons 10th Birthday Party and spoke to Adrian. He was extremely helpful, detailed and answered all my questions. He stayed in contact when it came to payment and responded immediately anytime I had another question. The day of the party he arrived on time, set up and assisted all of the kids inside and outside of the truck. My son literally said it was the best birthday party he had ever had and I couldn't be more grateful to Adrian for making that possible and on short notice I may add. Thanks to We Got Gamez!! My son had a blast for his birthday even though it was a hot summer day. They drove into Cambrian Park all the way from Tracy during the pandemic. The emotional stress these people made me go trough the day of my sons party I wish on nobody. These people canceled on me the day of my sons party blaming it on I have a new scheduler and got the dates mixed up. But in reality it's all BS. All the text messages had the correct date at well as half of the event paid on venmo !! Dating march 13 game truck !!!!! He said they got the dates confused, then when he was on his way to supposably get his truck he said there was maintenance working on it and could only use some of the seats , I said that's fine just get to the event I don't mind just having the screens outside the truck, I have alot of kids waiting. And guess what people to my surprise the same exact words that are given to all the bad reviews here "I'm sorry I've never cancelled on anyone this might have to be my first one " what a nightmare!!!!! Thank god for the game truck that drove miles away to serve the Party with all the kids you guys left hanging !!!!!!! He makes promises they can't keep. I really tried to give these people a chance despite all the bad reviews ! But LESSON LEARNED!! Never again will I try to do business with this unprofessional people. As I was calling for last minute game trucks they informed me they have done this to several people as they always get calls from stressed parents because this specific company canceled on them ! These are people you cannot trust. I would definitely recommend having back up for your event if you ever make the same mistake I did and give them a chance ! read more

My son's 11th birthday was amazing thanks to WeGotGamez! They were easy to reserve, on time for the party and helpful to our guests. Everyone had a great time.
