So I booked Marvelous party characters after viewing the reviews online. The overall process of booking/selecting package and choosing the theme was smooth. I liked that they were very communicative throughout. The only and biggest disappointment was the person they sent us for the party - she lacked skills. She was supposed to show some magic and then was booked for face painting. Magic was very basic and I appreciate that the entertainer was adjusting when it started raining all of a sudden. We moved the party to garage and started doing the face painting which definitely she does not have hands on. I could have drawn better than her. I felt very embarrassed in front of my guest that I booked someone for $300 for that skill. My first and last time I booked someone from this place. We hired Cinderella for my daughter's 6th birthday and she stole the show! A wonderful lady named Ally showed up and seeing my daughter's expression when she saw her walking down the sidewalk towards our party was hilarious: "Who is that? Is that a celebrity?" "I don't know! I don't know! I don't know!" She was completely starstruck! Ally was amazing! We requested a 1 hour slot with a magic show and princess training and the group of 4-6 years olds loved it! She started with princess training and easily pivoted to a magic show when our little princesses decided otherwise! She did balloon twisting and we got face painting since we only had 5 kiddos. They did not have the Jasmine character readily available at the time of the booking but the fairy was a great touch (we were able to get the Jasmine character from our decorator who just walked around and took pictures with the kids so it all worked out...double the fun!).
