We ordered a Spider-Man birthday party with three superhero activities, and it was such a great experience! Our Spider-Man was wonderful with the kids--they were completely engaged and had so much fun. My son absolutely loved his birthday party, especially all the Spider-Man and superhero activities. Everything was very well organized. I changed my order several times, and they were always very flexible and accommodating, which I really appreciated. Thank you for making my son's birthday so special and memorable! Now I know exactly who to call for my kids' future birthday parties. Highly recommend read more

We booked an Elsa character performer for our daughter's birthday party this past weekend, and the entire experience from start to finish was outstanding! The booking and planning process was incredibly smooth. Due to our changing schedule, I had to update both the date and the location a few times, and the team could not have been more accommodating. Every single message received a prompt, helpful reply, which made party planning completely stress-free. On the day of the event, Sydney (who played Elsa) was simply marvelous! From the moment she arrived, she stayed completely in character, engaged effortlessly with all the kids, and kept the entire party captivated from start to finish. The children were in complete awe, and seeing their faces light up during the show was the absolute highlight of the day. Most meaningfully, Sydney was exceptionally wonderful, patient, and attentive with my older daughter, who has special needs. Her genuine warmth and care meant the world to our family. Throughout the celebration and afterward, multiple parents came up to rave about her talent, kindness, and professionalism--and several immediately asked for the company's contact info so they could book for their own upcoming events. If you are looking for top-tier, reliable, and magical entertainment, look no further. We cannot recommend Sydney and this company enough! read more

I only have wonderful things to say about Sara! From the very first contact, everything was easy and straightforward. On the day of my daughter's birthday, just 40 minutes before the party, she had an accident and needed to go to the hospital for stitches. Even in the middle of all the pre-party chaos, Sara kindly took my call and offered me great options. Since she had another event scheduled right after ours, we decided to keep the original plan. We had about 15 kids at the party, and Sara made sure every single one of them felt included and had fun, from face painting, to the parachute games, to the balloon creations. The kids had an AMAZING time, and every parent there complimented her work. I 100% recommend Sara, and without a doubt, I'll be booking her again for our next party! read more

Michael was an amazing Spider-Man at our son's birthday party! He arrived right on time, stayed in character the entire event, and kept all the kids engaged from start to finish. The magic show was a huge hit, and the superhero training had every child excited and participating. His energy, enthusiasm, and ability to entertain kids of all ages made the party extra special. The kids absolutely loved him, and the parents were impressed too. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend Michael if you're looking to make your child's party unforgettable! read more

We had them come to our daycare twice. One time for Christmas. Santa and an elf, then another time with cinderella. Cute show.

How can I give 10 stars?? Sarah is amazing. I've requested for her character visits two years in a row now because my daughter had such an amazing, memorable time with her and her friends. The first year, she delighted us as little Mermaid and this past year, she came as Elsa. All the parents were shocked with how great she was with playing with our kids and how much fun they had playing with her. Sarah is great with interacting with kids and keeping them engaged. She is funny, kind, and overall super kid friendly and knows how to make kids laugh; its so cute to watch. Her events come with balloon making, magic show, face painting and for ours, we also request princess training which the girls loved so much. She's great to work with also, on-time and flexible. And she's also reasonably priced. Look no further, Sarah's your girl! read more

I can't say enough great things about Marvelous Party Characters. My special needs daughter was hospitalized at Stanford for seizure monitoring. She loves princesses and I decided last minute to surprise her with a visit. Sara from Marvelous Party Characters accommodated us on very late notice and was able to come as Rapunzel, which is my daughter's favorite princess. She was organize, easy to deal with, and arrived right on time. Since my daughter was in the hospital, Sara wanted to do the visit free of charge but I insisted on giving a donation for her time. As far as quality goes, she was outstanding in terms of her voice, mannerisms, personality and costume. She was as good or better than any princess in Disneyland. I highly recommend this company for your next party or event! read more

Brilliant. Professional. Punctual. What more can you ask for? I had a Frozen themed birthday party and Queen Elsa was 10 mins early and kept the kids engaged with her cool magic tricks. Tricks were pretty basic but for a 4 year old it was still wow worthy! She also did balloons and face painting. Value for money. Highly recommended to add that touch of magic and joy to your birthday party! read more

Absolutely AMAZING. I would HIGHLY recommend Sarah and her group for all your party needs! We asked Sarah to dress up as a winter fairy for our daughter's birthday party and she was absolutely amazing!!! We had a fantastic experience with Marvelous. We hired them for my son's 6th birthday. There were about 30 or so kids. The entertainer (Sarah) was really great to work with. Everything from the booking to the communication leading up to the event was smooth. She arrived on time and was ready to go! Sarah was dressed like a ninja and performed ninja training for the group. The kids had a great time and best of all, they were hungry after!! The pricing is quite fair and they were also flexible as we had to change the location last minute due to weather. Highly recommend for any themed parties! We look forward to working with them again. read more

This place is amazing! I asked for a very specific character for my daughter's 5th birthday and they delivered. She was over the moon. The booking process was super easy. I sent an email and they responded super quick and kept in contact with me. Answered all my weird and incessant questions! The performer called the night before to confirm and again answered all my questions. And best of all, came on time and the kids loved it. We had Michael perform as a clown for my son's 4th Birthday Party and he was AMAZING! The time flew by with him. The kids and the adults were hooked to his seriously cool magic show. He did an incredible job keeping the kids having fun throughout the magic show, parachute games and balloon animals. Everyone commented on how great he was with the kids and how much fun they were clearly having. Highly recommend! read more

So I booked Marvelous party characters after viewing the reviews online. The overall process of booking/selecting package and choosing the theme was smooth. I liked that they were very communicative throughout. The only and biggest disappointment was the person they sent us for the party - she lacked skills. She was supposed to show some magic and then was booked for face painting. Magic was very basic and I appreciate that the entertainer was adjusting when it started raining all of a sudden. We moved the party to garage and started doing the face painting which definitely she does not have hands on. I could have drawn better than her. I felt very embarrassed in front of my guest that I booked someone for $300 for that skill. My first and last time I booked someone from this place. It was very unprofessional to send someone not fit for that job. read more

We had Michael come over for our kid's birthday celebration. He was amazing and super hit. Kids and adults loved the show equally. Next day at school, kids were still talking about how they enjoyed the show. We are so thankful to have found them. We hired Cinderella for my daughter's 6th birthday and she stole the show! A wonderful lady named Ally showed up and seeing my daughter's expression when she saw her walking down the sidewalk towards our party was hilarious: "Who is that? Is that a celebrity?" "I don't know! I don't know! I don't know!" She was completely starstruck! Ally was amazing! We requested a 1 hour slot with a magic show and princess training and the group of 4-6 years olds loved it! She completely plays the part and even has that lyrical sounding Disney princess voice down, where they all sound like they're speaking and singing an octave higher than everyone else, or like they're constantly singing with delicate little birds (you know the voice I mean). She even stayed with us and sang happy birthday to our daughter, which was probably the highlight of her short life. :) Before she left, she graciously hugged goodbye to her "princess friends" before "leaving for another ball." From our initial inquiry to confirming the day before, Marvelous Party Characters was easy to work with. Would highly recommend for a party! read more

We were scrambling to find a party character for my daughter's birthday and Marvelous Party Characters saved the day. We were able to book Elsa for her party and as a bonus we got Anna too (a trainee performer). The communication was prompt and clear from the start, their prices were reasonable and you got to pick from a variety of activities. We chose a magic show and parachute games which the kids loved! Elsa and Anna were funny and friendly and my daughter is still excited when she talks about her party. The characters arrived on time, had all their available props with them and stayed for the cake cutting and photos with the kids. Overall, I highly recommend them for adding fun and engagement to your kids birthday party. It's well worth it! read more

Highly recommended! Did a wonderful job, entertaining kids and extremely professional

Absolutely amazing experience. Elsa came for my daughters 5th birthday and she kept the kiddos entertained for the entire hour. She started with princess training and easily pivoted to a magic show when our little princesses decided otherwise! She did balloon twisting and we got face painting since we only had 5 kiddos. She answered all questions well (ie how did you get here when there is no snow, I saw you at Disneyland). We initially were planning to have 25 kiddos and had to pivot to a smaller group which was a wonderful choice as Elsa was able to personalize the experience and know all the girls names. As for the parents, it was great as we were able to chat and have an adult conversation for an HOUR! Highly recommend! read more

WOW! Marvelous Party Characters helped make things extra special for us at our event this past weekend in Pacifica. Spider-Man and Gwen Stacy/Spidey Gwen were a HUGE HIT. Hundreds of people stopped to take pictures with them and they did an amazing job interacting with all age groups, including young children, youth and parents. My favorite part of the day was watching kids who had Spider-Man shirts on get to meet their favorite superhero. My little nephew kept asking "is that the REAL Spiderman?!" Great performer - engaged kids well. Daughter loved to see Ariel come to life. Punctual and quickly adapted to families who were late for the party. We had booked 2 activities for 30 mins each, however we got barely 45 mins of activity. Website had mentioned photo op, birthday song, and grand entrance as included features in all packages, but these don't really need 15 minutes to reduce performance time. Ideally, these should be offered after the 1 hour performance. read more
