I'm a parent at private school. Impossibubble was hired for two slime presentations for our group of students where we paid in advance. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. The vendor only completed one presentation and left supplies for the second, refusing to issue any refund or make up the session. This was not what we paid for, and the lack of professionalism in handling the situation was frustrating. Good customer service means honoring agreements, and that simply didn't happen here. We booked Impossibubble for glitter tattoo and balloon twisting, 2 hrs. I asked if we can choose the staff as my friend had a bad experience with one of the staff at their party. She ensured me they now have a compete new team. And that Paulo will be at our party and He's very experienced. I agreed and thanked her for scheduling Paulo with us. However the person who showed up was not Paulo, she came unprepared. The children lined up and you can see the anxiety on her face. She attempted to make balloon animals but failed. Many popped and untwisted. She then used her phone and turned on a YouTube tutorial. She was struggling and I told her to just do the one thing shes comfortable with. So all the kids can have a turn. She made dogs and swords, however none of them held up. I texted Jeanette and updated her but there was no response. only 9 childrens got their balloons in the whole 2 hrs she was there. I told them we have 35 when booking. I wanted to just tell her to do all tattoos but I was so busy hosting, I never made it back to her to tell her that. I really should have done that. I emailed and texted her about our experience and no reply. Booking was easy but after that, they completely ghosted us. I would not recommend this company. TL;RD: Their website is misleading and when attempting to discuss they are not responsive, when finally got in touch with them they were patronizing and decided to cancel our appointment. It took the company 3 weeks to issue a refund, which we finally got. AVOID and go with a different service. My wife wanted to go with them for our daughter's birthday for face painting. She paid for painting and the 50 dollars extra for bubble pay. on their website it is not clear that you are paying for one hour for each service and that they would only be able to paint ~12 kids per hour. When finalizing the details this came up in the contract the company requested us to sign. I objected and requested either they provide the full two hours of face painting and the kids can play with the bubbles or to remove the bubbles from the reservation. They agreed to remove the bubbles and then followed up in thumbtack saying they'd cancel our reservation on sept 12. I immediately requested they provide a full refund and they agreed it would be sent "shortly". It took till Oct 1st to receive our refund. read more

When I reached out, after not getting a response for days, I finally got ahold of someone who DIDN'T even have reference of a schedule input of my PAID event on their calendar. They repeated this horrible refund policy... I noted I got no notice of this and never signed the contract so that I was requesting a full refund. They literally ghosted me. Phone calls, 10+ emails over the course of 3 weeks. No response.... I had a family member reach out to them via email to ensure they were actively responding to others, (which they were). Me and the staff of the school had to man the bubble play area by OURSELVES while one person from this company went inside to do the glitter tattoos and could not even get to all the children on time because HOW COULD THEY. Then I spent an hour plus cleaning up the huge mess of soap on the schools playground because there was ZERO communication on what instructions or information on what we should do beforehand to prepare for this - I had no clue what was actually going to happen we had to change locations, i told them this was an indoor event she shows up and says oh no we have to be outside. I paid $500 for this service I expected a vendor to show up, set up, HOST, clean up and pack out and I ended up feeling I worked the whole thing myself along with the teachers who did not have time to help do any of this but graciously did help. The woman who did show up was kind and I'm sure she tried her best but this company is a complete mess don't fall for these yelp reviews or if you do choose to book with them you need to call them and get CLEAR communication on what you are getting and should expect. Was really disappointed with the bubble play that we planned couple of days back, the photos in the yelp website did not match at all, was expecting the same but looks like it was just two tubs with a few laddles and they just asked kids to play all by themselves. On the other hand, face painting was nice, lady was patient, when we specifically asked 1 hr each for each activity, it was all a flop as kids did not get engaged with bubble play. I was very excited to book Impossibubble given the great Yelp reviews.  However, overall I was disappointed in the experience and wouldn't use them again. Here is what happened: -I booked my performance for 2pm online.  They called me a few days later to say they can only do 3pm.  I emphasized that it would be difficult for me to do 3 since it throws off the day a bit but as long as we start exactly at 3 (not setup at 3) I could make it work.  The performer/owner showed up at 3:10pm and didn't start until 3:20pm. -I paid for a 30 min bubble show and 30 min face painting.  Her show ended early since when it was my son's turn to be a part of the show he somehow slipped and got drenched in the bubble pool.  I'm not sure how that happened but drenching the bday boy isn't ever a good idea.  We had to change all of his clothes and shoes. -She left at 4pm even though I paid for an hour and she started at 3:20pm; stating that she seemed to be "done".  In reality tho the bubble show ended early b/c she really wasn't able to capture the audience's attention that well and drenched the bday boy.  The kids seemed like they were enjoying themselves but she could have used a lot more energy and excitment in her performance. It was very lackluster. -I proactively called and left a vmail to the company a day before the party to confirm they were still coming since I didn't receive any communication from them.  They told me someone would be contacting me and nobody did.  I texted the number as well and got a very generic text back saying "you're good, see you tomorrow".  The customer serivce was really lacking. We were in contact with the most respectful and polite secretary named Maddy who made us feel comfortable and excited. Our artist was more of a face painter and not really a bubble performance, but we wouldn't have changed a thing. Kiddie pools were set up with bubble solution and lots of big wands. Rose was face-painting and balloon-making, and all the kids got a balloon and had their faces painted (some kids got more than one, and one of our guests' daughters was very proud of her three Peppa pig tattoos). The bubble show was a huge hit. The bubble lady (I forgot her name) kept 20 (!!) kids engaged and entertained. Some of the younger kids kept popping the bubbles as she was making them (one even tried to jump into the tub of bubble solution), but she was patient and ensured all kids and grown-ups had a great time. I had them do backdrop for my daughter's 1st Bday party. And from the very beginning things started going wrong. The rainbow theme backdrop she ordered was delayed so they gave me last minute option for plain pink. Then she brought my daughters name letters written incorrectly. She did not bring a banner /ballon for "1". The arch support kept on falling due to the wind. There was no weight at the bottom, it almost fell on someone. The only good thing was ballon garland. But I did not pay money just for that. It was quite disappointing and I like things to be atleast near to perfect on special occasions. I don't know about their other services but I do not recommend for ballon/backdrop decorations. And above all you have paid everything in advance so forget about any refund.
