He said Coreen would call with a quote. She called Wednesday and left a message that she had a quote which she also emailed to me. She called back a couple hours later to make sure I got the message, I did not, (the coffee had not yet kicked in). I discussed the quote with my husband and called back with ok to order toilet. Coreen said she would call when the toilet came in and would schedule Paul to come and install it. I figured at least a week (I'd have plenty of time to give the bathroom a good cleaning). About an hour later Coreen called back and said they had the toilet we wanted and Paul finished a job sooner than anticipated and could be at our house in about 15 minutes! (I guess the bathroom gets cleaned later) Needless to say, I was thrilled. 1 hour later we had a new toilet that actually flushes, and Paul was on his way to his next appointment. Very pleased with the whole experience. We have used Gennari several times and have always been pleased with the results. The whole crew is very friendly and very professional. Too bad 5 stars is the highest rating I can give!

march 28, 2026 -- buyer beware!!! alpine heat pumps does not stand behind the products they sell…read more 18 months after purchase, major components failure of the compressor and inverter pcb board. best they could do was, we could get out there in maybe 2 weeks, why don't you try calling.....maybe they can help. alpine's representative had the nerve after it was diagnosed by another company as a known c464 failure problem with samsung to say, "well every now and then you get a bad one, but the parts are covered!" 18 months and a major failure, and we're supposed to come up with another $1,500 to $2,000 for labor and freon. so, they don't service what they sell, moreover, don't stand behind the product they recommended. not to mention that as part of mass save had to have our furnace disconnected and we are stll without heat (april 7) in half the house...tonights low expected to be 25 degrees! going on a week and half of 50% heat, not expected to maybe be repaired on the 14th. they were responsive in taking my $28,000 for the system, and now they will not respond! poor customer service! they take your money and move on! shop elsewhere, and go with company that actually services what they sell and stands behind the products they sell. oh, and they no longer sell samsung....no suprise. only 1 star, because can't give zero.

Additionally Jason(Alpine) charged me for four(4) mini-splits and I only recieved three(3) and one(1) condenser. Fast forward to November 4. The generator didn't star. When I called Gable they sent Tony. Soon to replace Joe. Not generator Joe another Joe. Generator Joe is "Old Joe". Tony looked at the generator mane it sounds like explosions several times, told me he didn't know much about generators he would send "Old Joe". I didn't hear from anyone and called a few days later. Woman said she would check and call back. She didn't call but later Tony called, said the generator couldn't be fixed. There were no parts available because my generator was too old. This was a lie. I called another that fixed the generator. The spark plug was the problem. Tony also told me I had to service the generator when it was only serviced in March. When Tony left he left the generator on so that later that night when we lost power it made those explosion sounds 7 or 8 times. The neighborhood was in an uproar. I never had such an incompetent worker in my presence. Terrible.

When my heat went out at 2 am on one of the coldest nights of the year, I spent an hour calling…read moreevery HVAC company on Yelp to find someone who could help me out ASAP. It turns out a lot of pipes froze that night, because no one had any techs available. The best I could get from mist was a promise to have someone call me in the morning. Josh from Holmes, though, called me back immediately. He helped me stop the water that was flowing out of the burst valve, made sure I had some emergency heat, then scheduled me for first thing in the morning after he finished with his next client. He fixed the problem and even made some improvements to make my system a bit more resilient going forward. He was there all day, so I was expecting an astronomical bill since I had called in an emergency basis. I was pleasantly surprised to see the price was very reasonable. I had actually made that exact repair myself 5 years earlier (Josh said it was a quality issue with the valve and not my handiwork that lead to this failure, and I choose to believe him), so I know the going rate for the valves he used, and I know what the labor was like to install it. They charged a fair markup for the parts and a competitive hourly rate for the labor. And of course, Josh did the work a heck of a lot faster than I did back in 2021. I'm very pleased with the service and the quality of work. I'll definitely be calling Holmes the next time I need any HVAC work done.
