Good selection of food on their menu and tasty overall. It felt more like a takeout spot given the presentation of food, but we got a table in their small establishment and found it to be an overall pleasant experience. The food was great and filling - we ordered too much for sure! Their specialties were great and juicy. Overall, we had a good lunch and left feeling satisfied - only thing lacking was no water without buying it.

Service was nice and they were sitting behind the counter as we were eating. They dont sell just a side of rice, only as a combination with other things. There werent that many people dining in so it was a quiet evening. We ordered a pork and crab dumpling which we couldn't taste the crab. It didnt stand out. The sesame noodle didnt hit the mark. Im not sure what happened, but it wasnt what I remembered it to be.

Came here for the first time and so far so good. Ordered online and tried the pork hui tou, spicy pork wonton, steamed vegetables and scallion pancakes. Because I ordered online, it didn't say exactly when my order was going to be ready so I waited over 20 mins. When I went to pick my food up, the store itself was empty, and it looked like my food was sitting there for a while. My food wasn't hot lol. Next time I know to come earlier. Anyways, the pork hui tou was pretty good. I definitely want to try their food when it's hot, I feel like that would definitely taste better. My favorites were definitely the pork hui tou and the scallion pancakes.

I went to Dumpling House recently hoping for a good meal, but left feeling pretty underwhelmed. The xiao long bao had flavor -- that was the only real bright spot -- but every single one broke before I could even lift it. No soup stayed in, wrapper fell apart. Taste was good, just... very fragile. Then the tomato egg noodles came, and wow, so basic. It tasted like something my 14-year-old could whip up at home in 10 minutes. No depth, no texture -- kind of just there. Overall: the dumplings (when they don't disintegrate) are decent, but unfortunately those breaks killed the experience. I don't see myself coming back.

Didn't feel like cooking tonight so we decided to try Hui Tou Xiang. We ordered the following: Zhá Jìang Noodle Hong Kong Style Wontons Pork Hock Pork HuiTou (8pcs) Pan Fried Pork Bun Pork & Crab XLB Pork & Leek Pancakes Steamed Vegetables Although the flavors were decent. We didn't quite have any favorites. The fillings for the Pork & Leek Pancakes, Pork HuiTou, and Pan Fried Pork Bun were good but it was too doughy, wish the dough was done thinner. I liked the wonton soup but then the sesame oil and seaweed overpowering the soup. My least favorite was the Pork & Crab XLB, which I thought would have been the best, lacked crab flavor. The steamed veggies, Pork Hock, and Zhá Jìang Noodle were just okay as well. I think if I didn't have better dumplings, meat pancake, and wonton soup somewhere earlier this week, I would have enjoyed this more. On another note, They are in a busy shopping center on Las Tunas with limited parking space.

Went there for late lunch and this was the first time I had the place after passing by it so many times. The portion size is good for me and so is their prices. One question I have is how did they get their pan fried dumplings to be juicy. It was flavorful! Staffs were very friendly as well. Smaller restaurant but it's definitely worth trying.

It was ok. Some dishes were good other dishes didn't hit the spot. Service was good and food came out fast which was awesome! Def recommend the spicy mixed noodles, that was the highlight!

I absolutely loved this place! I would definitely go out of my way to come back to this place for more dumplings! We came to visit another establishment in the same parking lot, but we ended up here since there was a wait time at the other place. When I walked up, there was literally no line, but I must've been lucky because as soon as I ordered shortly after the line started. The two girls at the front were helpful as I don't know the names of all the dumplings or what's inside and they helped me decide what I wanted. Anytime dumplings are involved, I always end up buying a variety since the family always wants everything. If you are from this area, you have no idea how lucky you are to be near this establishment. I would absolutely love to come back to try other items, if you are a local, please tell me what you recommend so I can make sure to get it next time. If you haven't visited this place yet, you're definitely missing out!

Small little shop where 6 people take up half the restaurant. Good service, attentive staff. Who brings out chilled glasses? For a small mom and pop that's crazy 5 star quality service. No one really does this anymore (except for bars) this was perfect for this hot summer weather. So I went with a large group and we all picked and item, everyone got a taste of everything. Everything tasted so good, the "spicy" dumplings isn't very spicy so I kinda just kept eating those. Can't recommend anything specific because I enjoyed everything

Came for a dinner with a group of wonderful friends! Parking was a bit difficult so we parked on the streets, we also saw a sign that said additional parking in another plaza nearby. The place is actually really small! Around five tables and seating? The menu isn't really long so it's easy to order quickly and I'm glad once we order the food comes fairly quick. We ordered some dumpings, pork Xiao long bao (XLB), shumai, scallion pancakes, sesame noodles, and potstickers. The boiled dumplings can be confusing since they all look the same. The shrimp sui mai is mu favorite, I think because it didn't contain ginger. They also gave us a bowl of ginger.... The sesame noodles are served dry and really good! You have to blend it well and make sure all the sauce is in because it's really thick. After that we ordered more since there's 6 of us so we got pork short rib noodles, chicken and cilantro dumplings, and pork XLB. I preferred the chicken and cilantro dumplings as well, very refreshing and tasty. They also had canned soda which also includes Diet Coke (the menu doesn't show Diet Coke). The restroom is unisex and glad they have one! Overall pretty good, I think I'm happy to try the place since I do enjoy dumplings but I can't have much all the time!

Still a good spot for Chinese comfort food and dumplings. There's about 10 tables give or take and comfortable seating. We had from order of most to least favorite: - pork hui tou: this is the specialty of this place and they still a good job with the crispy outside shell - three flavor dumplings: this is surprisingly pretty good and a solid dumpling choice with the shrimp inside - sesame noodles: very flavorful with the sesame sauce but note sharing is not easy at all given how long the video is - scallion pancake: unlike other places, this is fried to a crisp and much thinner. A unique spin on the usual but the downside is I can tell they used older oil on this. - xiao long bao: I am unfortunately less of a fan of thicker dumpling skin, so this was my least favorite. Doesn't stand out as much from other XLBs in the SGV.

The pork pot stickers were crunchy soft and tasty, the braised beef noodle soup was where I wished it was more or it lacked flavor. Yes the soup is spicy but the broth tasted watery and needed a bit more love. The noodles were slightly undercooked. The service was same as ambiance, meh. It's cool here for a quick bite for, the don't serve hot tea which was surprisingly on a cold evening where dumplings and tea can hit the spot. Cold water is not a good choice

We stopped by on a Sunday for lunch and managed to snag seats for the five of us. The space is pretty small, but there's parking and a bathroom available. I got the sesame noodles and we split the pan fried buns. I really enjoyed the flavors and textures, and you can tell they make it fresh. They serve the food in plastic takeout containers, and there's bottled water available for purchase so if you're dining in, you're welcome to bring your own drink.

Won't allow to change some food on banquet menu, just had to add another dish. Food came out fast & with big plates, hardly any space on table, waiter just left it on top of 2 serving trays. They didn't care that serving plates were still full. The beef loc lac was tough, deep fried fish sauce tasted weird with their sweet sour sauce, pea sprouts which I was trying to change to another dish but couldn't, sure enough was so fibrous & chewy. The special fried rice was so full of all different kinds of meat that it was like a meal in itself. With 10 different dishes it would have been better to serve plain white rice. Felt service could been better for 18% service already added on bill. Tea was even charged. Had to ask for menu at cashier & was told already at table, asked for waiter so we can order, had to ask for water, spoons & forks or to have some serving plates taken away to have more space at table. There were few waiters & feel that they were not attentive and restaurant was not even busy. Even parking lot was not full but there was courtesy valet parking & girl was insisting on parking the cars even though several cars was starting to line up. I would never recommend or return to this place again. Just disappointed that my guests did not enjoy the food as well.

And they have some chairs for people waiting. The wait wasn't too bad, around 25 minutes or so and they text you when the table is ready. They have a very nice interior design and not that many tables inside, but they do a good job of serving food fast so the wait times aren't bad despite the small space. There is a ipad at your table once seated so you can directly send your order to the kitchen instead waiting for the waiter. We got the Wagyu Beef Chinese Burger, Kurobuta Pork and Crab Meat Soup Dumplings, Kurobuta Pork Soup Dumplings, Stir Fried Noodles w Angus Beef, Dry Pot Cauliflower, and Sweet and Sour Kurobuta Pork Ribs. The waiters here were friendly and attentive, giving extra napkins and refilling our water cups often. The food was served in like ten minutes which is fast. I liked the Wagyu Chinese burger the most since the beef is stir fried very well and seasoned very flavorfully. It is just pricey for the size. The soup dumplings were all pretty good with good meat quality and dumpling skin. Each soup dumpling order only comes with 8 which isn't too bad for the price. The cauliflower and stir fried noodles were both pretty good too, very flavorful. The porb ribs were just average though and pricey for only 8 pieces that are not very big. The flakey beef rolls are also very good. Comes with four per order and the meat quality and skin was just perfect. Overall, this is a pretty good spot for soup dumplings and noodles, and I highly recommend the Wagyu Chinese burger. The portions are a bit small for the price but the food quality is good. I can see why there is always a line outside. Their service is also great and fast. I liked how they help pack your leftovers to-go for you. Will come back again!

Come early and get seated right away and there's still ample parking in their parking lot. By the time we left at 7:30p, the lot was packed and people circling around hoping to snag a spot from folks leaving. The restaurant is pretty large and has about 3 rooms with different size tables and booths. No matter the size of your party, there's a table that will accommodate. The staff were very nice and attentive and FAST! We had our food out probably 15 min after we put in our order! Now...on to the food. Came at 530 pm on a tuesday, and there wasen't anyone here yet. Afterwards it filled up quickly!! The main thing I dont like about this place is they dont have the prices on what your ordering. Which I'll get too at the end. Like any other Chinese restaurant, their menu is super extensive. I love how they have a little bit of everything. And its very well organized too. We ordered the following: 1. Crab and fish maw soup- this soup was amazing. It was just the right temp. Got me sweating. Can easily feed 12 people. Great amount of maw. The consistency is just right. Tasted so good!! 2. Small lobster special- on a bed of noodles. It was about 5 lbs. Cooked well. Could do without. Basically flavors. And it was expensive!! About $30 a lb. So this one dish cost basically the same amount as all the other dishes. Which was just too much. If I knew it was that much I would definitely not have ordered it. 3. Walnut shrimp- not the best walnut shrimp I've had. But it was ok. 4. Garlic shrimp- this shrimp dish was ok. Too many bell peppers and onions. It was just ok. 5. Mongolian beef- flavors were not that great. Very tender though. Could've been better. 6. Sea trout- this was amazing!! I love the sauce. Fish was so soft and tender. The heat, the spice, the sweetness. Some of that sauce in white rice was just perfection. It was really really good. Best dish of what we ordered. 7. Kung pao chicken- this was a really good dish. Crispy bits of chicken. But so soft and tender inside. I love the sauce that it was in. It was by far one of the highlights of the meal. It was good food. Price for everything (except the lobster) was pretty good. Food tasted amazing for the most part. Typical Chinese customer service. Pay at the front. Massively large portions. Solid authentic Chinese food.
