Hugo's is an adorable little spot. We used to come here almost weekly in high school, and both times we've come back -- in 2014 and 2024 -- the owners recognized us. My mother and I went here because she was absolutely famished after getting out of the hospital. That was a year ago. We went this morning to "celebrate" her having made it through the crisis. I was proud of her, she polished off a big omelet and said it was very good. I had a chicken sandwich and also liked it very much. It seems to be a popular and reliable place. This quaint diner has a large menu and the service was friendly and fast. The food was delicious! At our table , we ordered a turkey club, a Reuben sandwich both very generous in size. They made it nice and crispy. Eggs were fluffy not over cooked. Fruit was fresh! I got my order to go and everything was perfect- came with all the condiments you could ask for, perfect amount of utensils for each dish, bread came separate from meal so as not to get soggy, and fruit was handed to me separate from main dish so as not to get warm if I didn't want that.
