When I pointed it out to him and showed him what happened, he apologized again, which I appreciated. Accidents happen, and we understand that. However, since the incident ruined my daughter's top, I would have appreciated the restaurant taking a little more responsibility--perhaps offering some compensation, a discount, or something toward replacing the shirt. Unfortunately, nothing was offered. The food was good, but this experience was upsetting, especially seeing my daughter almost in tears over her shirt. I hope the restaurant can handle situations like this better in the future.
