They wouldn't substitute tofu for meat on any dish stating it's too hard .... So I ordered salt n chili tofu... worst dish ever. Their food quality has changed a lot since Joe sold it. I tried it again after a few years hoping it had gotten better. Arrived for dinner at around 5pm. The eg flower soup was horrible, I complained, the bring a fresh cup and it was much better. Apparently they still had the soup on the stove from earlier and it got rancid. Same was with the rest of the plate, not happy again and am done with this place. My rating is the poor food. Request your food fresh and hot. read more

Let me start off by saying I have been ordering from this place for years. I even hand out menus for this business at my place of employment (a hotel). I put my order in at 5:30 pm. Called at 6:30 to see if I could just cancel because I was told under 45 min. Lady made sure to tell me they always say an hour for delivery which wasnt the case. My delivery did not get here until 645. Older white guy walks into my lobby looking for a jose... my name is not even close to jose and I'm a female.... he even started telling me, "I had a lot more deliveries in front of you... sorry..." My food is cold and my orange chicken is just fried breaded meat without sauce. I literally spent $27 just to hit the minimum $20 for delivery. All just to be dissatisfied. Your recent employees' customer service sucks and your food had gone down hill. I will not be handing out your menus or recommending your business any further. Today was an icy, windy day, perfect for Wor Won Ton soup. I called my favorite place and it was closed on Monday, along with most of the Chinese restaurants, so I decided to try Bamboo Garden. And I'm glad I did. I spoke to a server who told me the large Wor Wonton soup came in (2) 32 oz containers and came with 16 wontons, with prawns, pork, beef and chicken and costs $8.95. That's a bargain and alot of soup, but will I like it? I decided to order the teriyaki chicken lunch special for $5.95, just in case. I thought the soup was great! It had alot of flavorful little dumplings, however the broth was a little watery, maybe because there weren't alot of veggies and it was made pretty fast. I added a drop of dark sesame oil and doctored it up a bit and it was excellent! Approx $4.50 for a large container of soup, what a bargain! The teriyaki chicken lunch special came with ALOT of meat, all on a huge bed of white rice, broccoli and carrots. An amazing amount of food! The only thing I didn't care for was that the teriyaki sauce came on the side in a separate little container and it was watery so it didn't coat the chicken. The veggie chow mien is super good. However the only size to order it a la carte is a quart , which is super big for one person . I wish they had smaller sizes. The veggie roll is really amazing here. They make everything here from scratch and no GMO in anything which is super cool. Ricky is the best worker here. Super helpful. We no longer eat at this place. It changed ownership apparently a couple of years ago and every time we went after this time we would get very sick. I didn't want to believe it was the food here that made us sick because we had enjoyed eating here for so many years.
