I went here the other day for lunch with my best friend and it was fantastic! Great service! Great food! The staff is young but very well trained! Very impressive!

Service is great. Strawberry lemonade was amazing. And so is the bread with strawberry butter spread.

Stopped in for lunch today. Great service and good food. Love the complimentary fresh bread and strawberry butter. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip for an appetizer and it was SO GOOD! My entree was the fish & chips and my husband opted for the salmon salad. Fish was very meaty and moist. The batter was crispy on the outside but had slight doughy pockets. Very much eatable but some bites weren't my favorite. It also came with a second side besides fries. I chose pasta salad, it's slightly sweet and has beans. Very different but decent. The grilled salmon salad was mostly great as well. It's good salmon with basic toppings. Overall, it's a solid option especially for a sit down in the area.

Everyone at work talks about Hug-Hes so I had to give it a try and I was not disappointed. The service was great and all the employees were super friendly and kept our drinks full. I was a bit worried to see that many teens working together but they were having a good time and working hard, I was very impressed. I went with the buffalo chicken sandwich and my husband had stuffed pasta dish with shrimp. The sauce with the pasta was a bit sweeter than my husband liked but I thought it was good. My chicken sandwich was delicious. I'll definitely be back to try the pasta salad that everyone raves about.

Ordered the portablla chicken via Door Dash. It came with pasta salad and I opted for veggie which turned out to be fresh steamed broccoli. They also threw in bread and a sugar cookie! The only downside was my food was cold when I got it so I had to microwave it. But I mean it's door dash so what can ya do? Also I do not like Styrofoam packaging... everything was packed in Styrofoam. By the time I ordered it and left a tip it was $40. For chicken. Lol. So not cheap. But darn good.

Hug-Hes Cafe has proven to have some of the most incredible customer service you will find at a restaurant. When an order I had received was not done well, the owner not only refunded my meal, but treated me to a new one. It was perfectly made. Every detail of both mine and my daughter's meals were amazing. My burger was juicy and flavorful. The buffalo fries are super good. I recommend dipping them in ranch. Their original fries are delicious, as well. My daughter got the Alfredo with shrimp and she loved it. The sauce was nice and thick, the shrimp was cooked just right. The beer bread that they offer as a free appetizer was divine - soft, sweet and buttery. My only comment that would encourage improvement is the cleanliness of the bathroom stall walls and the floors under the tables. The peanut butter bars are delicious, but a bit stale. Honestly though, hardly worth mentioning when the rest was so well done. This is clearly a well run establishment where the people care about what kind of experience their customers receive. I highly recommend Hug-Hes Cafe in North Ogden! I will definitely be back and will be bringing my friends with me!

Great little hidden coffee shop!…read more This is the closest coffee shop to my house and we make it a point to ride bikes there for breakfast several times each summer. Brewed coffee and lattes always good and they have plenty of flavor choices (although sometimes they don't have skim milk). They also have affordable, quick breakfast options that always come hot and tasty. These consist of burritos, sandwiches, bagels, pastries and some others. Sandwiches can be thrown on a bagel, which I enjoy, and my wife especially likes the brisket breakfast burritos they serve seasonally. With it being in a somewhat rural area and on the gold course it's usually not to busy and can get good fast. Thankful to have this place close to home!

The Buffalo Melt was on panini bread, the chicken chopped up to make it easy to cook, with blue cheese dressing. Big portion: in the pic I posted, it looks like one sandwich but that's half; it's stacked one half on top of the other. This was a MESSY sandwich, the chopped chicken, blue cheese dressing and hot sauce all contributing, and sadly the red onions that were supposed to be on it were absent. The first half of the sandwich, while it was hot, was tasty, but again, dressing everywhere. By the time I got to the second half it had cooled, so it was soggy and honestly not that appealing. Moral of the story: eat it hot and fast. And have lots of napkins. $6.50 (I'd like to see a half order for this sandwich, because that's all I really needed.) The pasta salad had a lot of dry seasonings in it and not much liquid dressing. I'd prefer the reverse, though I ate the whole thing. Second meal (8:30A) was the breakfast quiche served with salsa, and a vanilla latte with an extra shot of espresso. The 16 oz latte was very, very good. $5.25 The quiche was tasty, though the description didn't do it justice because there was meat in it - bacon and ham, I believe. (Note: If I had ordered this on a Friday during Lent, I would have had to throw it out.) This was the largest quiche I have ever eaten. It definitely needed the salsa, but it was filling and I couldn't bring myself to stop, so I was full until around 3P. $3.50 The walk up window is a great solution during a pandemic, but even better was their app, which I used for both orders: Joe Coffee. It allows you to order and pay in advance, and is current with what is sold out or unavailable. Easy to use and suggested by the first gentleman server when I called to inquire on their menu. It tells you when your order is ready, so no waiting outside 6' apart, sit in your car. Stores your orders for quick reordering. Staff is very friendly and orders were made quickly. Given the price and portion sizes, I plan on returning to see if there's something amazing I missed, so I can bring this review up to a 4 or 5 star. :)

This is a nice location and it is only a few months old. The employees I have interacted with have always been great. I find that Starbucks is too sugary for me so I ordered the iced caramel mocha with one fewer pumps of each of the syrups. I also substituted for the almond milk. The drink was ok. The only reason I ordered this drink was to get one more drink towards the bonus stars for the week. I get wrapped up in their promotions all the time! I feel it is almost my duty to try and get those extra stars, which is kind of lame because I end up spending more money there. Overall I'd say this location is equal to other Starbucks locations I have been to.

We were really pleased with food, which came out pretty quickly. I had the country fried steak with hashbrowns, two eggs and a scone. The First Lady who greeted us was young and very nice but then the older lady bringing out food was very rude every time she came. We took two small tables of 4 seats and had kids in all the adults laps. There were always open walkways but the waitress would wait and scowl at us and the kids to go through our walkway. They refused to push any tables together for us because they said it was bad timing. Then the waitress walked past our table and said she had seen a waitress trip over a kid and get a concussion so we need to control our kids. She didn't even stop and ask us personally. She walked past us and as she was putting food on the table behind us she was kinda bad mouthing us indirectly. All the younger servers were nice and accommodating but that one was very rude. I could not recommend coming here with children or a large group.

I started with the Caesar salad, which was really tasty. The dressing tasted homemade and had a nice balance of flavors--definitely one of the better Caesars I've had lately. For my main, I went with the Wagyu. The steak itself was good quality, but I was genuinely surprised to see it topped with sour cream. I'm not a fan of sour cream on steak at all, so that was a miss for me. Next time I'll make sure to ask them to hold it. The wine list had some nice options. I ordered the Troublemake by Austin and it was very tasty--smooth and paired well with the meal. The vibe is nice and the food comes out timely, but the tables are pretty close together. It almost feels like you're sharing dinner with the people next to you. Service was fine and friendly, but for a place that's considered one of the best in Ogden, I expected it to be a little more polished. I'm probably a bit spoiled coming from Las Vegas where the fine dining scene is dialed in, but still. All in all, I'd go back for the salad and wine, and I'd just customize my entrée a little more. Good spot if you're in the area!
