Ignore the strip mall facade, and enjoy some of the best food Park City has to offer. We shared close to ten items, none were bad. Oh, our server was delightful - personable with great pairing recommendations.

Centerpiece

There's no way this place should be given less than 5 stars! I took my wife here for Mother's Day, along with our son. My wife has several food allergies: gluten, celery, and shrimp. Not only did the restaurant accommodate these allergies but the chef visited the table and walked through every item for my wife. He also returned to check on us after we started eating. Needless to say, the food was DELICIOUS! Great presentation and taste! Seasoned (not the case at many restaurants)! Additionally, the servers were so great with our son and continued to provide excellent all-around service. The hostess greeted us with delight and mentioned the high chair we requested on the reservation. We highly, highly recommend this restaurant! Do not think twice about taking the drive as we did, almost two hours RT! It was definitely worth the drive and time! We will return!

Elk ragu, broccoli, gimlet

We had a delightfully delicious dinner here one Monday night. It's elevated food in a casual environment. We shared the green salad (good dressing), grilled broccoli (has a little kick), and elk ragu. That was enough! I had a gimlet as well, amd we each took home a dessert for later (strawberry apple tart with sherbet and peanut butter bread pudding). Cost was about $55 per person, not including tax. Single-stall, gender-segregated restrooms. Free lot parking.

My husband and I ended our date night at this restaurant. What a beautiful restaurant - I loved all the greenery and plants. We were devastated they were out of the Utah Elk, it was why we came! We started off with and old fashioned and a Paloma, both were amazing. We had the octopus for a starter and it was so full bodied and diverse, it was awesome! I had the elk ragu which was phenomenal and my husband had the bison steak. He said the meat itself was great but the rest of the dish was just okay. The deduction in star comes from the Pumpkin Creme Brûlée... it was not good. At all. Not even in the slightest. The custard was pumpkin-like but was very bitter and lacked any form of sweetness. Our server was great and attentive and loved the word "Cheers!" Overall, great date night but we'd avoid the brûlée next time and hope for the Utah Elk.

I will start by saying I love this place! We have never had a bad meal and we stopped in last week and was, again a solid experience. We always start with the garlic and sesame chickpeas. They are crispy and ever so tasty. The wife went with the trout, which is pan seared filet served on rice with perfectly cooked asparagus. I almost always go with the burger but I switched it up this time and went with the utah elk and that was a stellar choice. Perfectly cooked with two very flavorful sauces and the portion size was generous without being over the top. Service is solid. The staff leaves you alone but also shows up at the right time to take care of you when you need them. The place is located in a strip mall but don't let that fool you. Check it out the next time you want something new in Park City.

Good food and chill, comfort vibes here. Food presentation was excellent and flavors on point!

PAN ROASTED DUCK BREAST

We really enjoyed our dinner and everything we ordered (except the chickpeas. I don't know what we expected but it was meh) The octopus was tender and flavorful - probably our favorite dish! Baked brie inspired us to make our own version at home and has been a party favorite. Duck was well-cooked and so tasty, I just wish there's more for the price point. Something I really appreciate at Twisted Fern is the SAUCES! Sauces are time consuming to create but make such a difference in adding flavors and depth to a dish. Dessert was great too - I'd love to return and try more things on the menu!

Overall, a great quality spot in the mountains!! Modern restaurant vibe, open and inviting. Sat at the bar. Bar service was good and attentive. Hostess stand needs some training though, maybe it's a generational thing but don't come over to help your fellow host and say "what's he saying???" Need to teach them confidence to speak clearly and be more inviting... Food was great. Got the elk. Very well prepared. Dessert was good. Bread pudding was solid very quality ingredients. Only knock on the bread pudding was the mousse was dense, as was the bread pudding. Would have preferred one being a bit lighter or both. Good option around town.

All I can say is, "wow!" Don't let the strip mall location throw you off, this place is legit. Staff is friendly, vibe is cool and it's mostly quiet. The food was excellent and the drinks were great too. I had the pork ragu and old fashioned, both is order again.

Twisted Fern: where the chickpeas are crunchy, the desserts are divine, and the ketchup is apparently trying to audition for a candy role in Willy Wonka's factory. We started strong with the burrata and bread -- honestly, I could have stopped there, hugged the server, and gone home happy. The crunchy chickpeas? A delightful snack that made me feel like a classy squirrel. And the desserts? Let's just say I blacked out and woke up with an empty plate and no regrets. Now for the plot twists... The trout was good -- but it wanted to be great. A little more crisp and it could have taken flight. The burger had potential, but the ketchup was so sweet I'm convinced it had a secret life as strawberry jam. I had to politely scoot it to the edge of the plate like it was an ex at a party. The carrot appetizer? More of a philosophical question than a flavor experience. "If a carrot falls in a forest of seasoning and no one tastes it, does it make a flavor?" Spoiler: not really. Would I come back? Yes. I'm not mad -- I'm just a little hungry still. But next time, I'll give the waitress a TED Talk about my texture and condiment preferences. Twisted Fern, you've got charm. With a few tweaks, you might just earn that 5 star yelp rating.

Located a little of the Main Street in Park City, Twisted Fern was a great spot for a large group dinner. I don't think any of our 17 water glasses were ever empty. To start, I had the homemade focaccia which was warm and tasty. For my entree, I had the Utah Elk which was also great. It was one of the members of our group birthday and they brought him out a chocolate desert to celebrate

Spent the week in PC and was recommended by a local to stop by Twisted Fern... Glad it was recommended because TT was next level. The ambiance, service, and food were all outstanding. Arguably, this was the best restaurant we ate at while in PC - TT is a must when visiting.

Amazing dinner and service. Drinks -double old fashioned and the pomegranate manhattan special to the trout and bison entree were great. Nice atmosphere and easy parking. Only let down was the olive oil lemon cake was quite disappointing more like a bisquick biscuit and the berry crisp was way too much sugar for our taste. We will be back but will skip dessert.

Great steak / elk. Trout dip was great, and the revolver cocktail. Desert was also great (brownie sundae)

Is there a dress code?

No. We went there when our planned on restaurant was closed, my son was wearing basketball shorts and a tshirt. And we felt comfortable in regular clothes.

Hello, is this place open for Thanksgiving? And do they have any vegan options and if so what are they?

Hello! We are closed on Thanksgiving but do have vegan options on our menu. For an up to date menu please visit our website twistedfern.com. Cheers

The entire process felt very disorganized. In our experience, communication was unreliable - emails often went unanswered and Meredith missed several scheduled weekly calls without notice. We also found repeated mistakes in key planning details. We felt like we constantly had to follow up with them, track tasks ourselves, and double-check every detail, instead of the other way around. Meredith has a good design eye, but the execution and organization we experienced fell far below what we expected for full-service planning. Once we switched planners, the difference was night and day - the process became smooth, proactive, and stress-free. Brides beware! Working with Meredith was a stressful and terrible experience for us and we would strongly not recommend using this planner. Everything in this review reflects my personal experience and opinions.
