Reservation are highly recommended for this restaurant thought bar seating is available on a first come first served basis. This restaurant is on a second floor so if you've been on the slopes and jello-legged - be prepared for a few steps. The space is nice and the service was so kind and inviting. It can get a little loud depending on who the other patrons are. We've been where the din has been muted but also there when raucous kids provided an unwanted accompaniment to dinner. The food is definitely top notch and the servers are happy to provide some insights to what is good. Complimentary hummus with crudite kicks off the meal - but don't be afraid to order the bread it's carbolicous and baked in house. What we've had: * Fried mushrooms. A mix of battered and fried earthy goodness. We liked this and those who like these nightshades will too * Spicy clams. A big hit with us with the slight spice to it - dip the crusty bread in the broth and savor * Creamy Celeriac Soup. A delightful surprise - a creamy soup that has wonderful flavor accented by the spice oil. I would recommend this for soup lovers. * Miso Chilean Sea Bass. A very solid dish with greens and lotus roots. It's not a huge portion but enough. * Crispy Duck Leg - Delicious and full of flavor and the potato perogis are a great accompaniment * Filet Mignon - This was a perfect medium rare and a well composted dish. We stopped in for after-dinner drinks, appetizers and dessert, and overall the experience was okay. The ambiance is really nice cozy but upscale with a cool Main Street vibe. Definitely a good spot if you're looking for a place to grab cocktails and sit somewhere that feels a little elevated. For drinks, we ordered the Smoked Old Fashioned and the Prickly Pear Mezcal Margarita. Both were solid and nicely made, though nothing particularly memorable. Appetizer wise we tried the baked brie dessert wise tried the baked Alaska, and banana pudding. The baked brie came with lingonberry pomegranate jam and crackers, but the rind gave it a bit of a stronger flavor than expected and it didn't quite hit for us. The desserts overall were decent, but none were standout enough that we'd go out of our way to order them again. One thing that stood out was that it felt a little pushy toward ordering entrées, even though we mentioned we were just there for drinks and dessert. I found my favorite salad for the summer! Pine Cone Ridge is consistently delicious. The balcony is one of the best balcony/patios in Utah for a meal with beautiful views of Main Street Park City. The filet was cooked to perfection. The gravy on the chicken alla queen was lighter and not as good as usual but still delicious overall. The French onion soup was good like always. Solid spot that started out great but unfortunately didn't hit the spot all the way. My husband's got the habanero mezcal cocktail and it just wasn't smooth and the flavors didn't mix together too well. His lamb dish was too spicy as well. I got the chicken and biscuits meal. Amazing food and service for our large party. They were able to accommodate three families to sit at two tables near each other so the kids took over one and the adults the other. Came here for a dinner, didn't make a reservation. Service was excellent, extremely friendly and attentive. Ambience is amazing, very beautiful modern place. It's also spacious, and has a small outdoor seating area. We got strawberry salad which was pretty good, they split it for us which was nice. We also had baked feta which was a great unique dish. For the main we had a duck leg, which came with cabbage, pirogies, and some pickled tomatoes. Main dish was my least favorite because of the weird sides. Duck was cooked to perfection but the sides weren't cohesive with a whole dish. They had a decent wine selection as well. Food was very expensive considering what you get. I think their prices are Manhattan level but not same quality of food. Overall pretty good dinner but definitely overpriced for what you get. read more

The collection of restaurants are always good in taste and service, but a portion of the prices on this Pine Cone Ridge menu are the quality ingredients and the other portion must be the price for the premium Main Street location. Everything was so tasty! I can't deny it's not good, but just know you're paying a Park City premium here. As a local I love when BW runs deals so we can experience meals like this ... which we would do on vacation but not just being "at home." If you're looking a place that can fit a large party, call ahead, but the restaurant definitely has room. We dined at Pine Cone Ridge during our Deer Valley Resort vacation. The restaurant is located upstairs off of Main Street in Park City. The bar area is separate from the main dining area which is perfect for this restaurant. I actually wish we would have stayed in the bar as it would have been the perfect place for us to dine. It appeared much quieter than the main dining area. Moving into the dining area, we were seated along the back wall in a booth which was nice as it was off the main floor up from the tables. The restaurant was about 3/4 full and we immediately noticed how loud it was. In fact, it was so loud, we found ourselves almost yelling across the table just to hold a conversation. Sound cushions should be installed in the ceilings. Our server quickly greeted us and was very nice. We ordered cocktails and wine to start. One thing I am particular about is a cold, full martini. It is simply the way a martini should be served. Ours were neither. The dirty martinis were slightly above room temperature and 3/4 glass full. In addition, an expensive glass of wine should have a pour more than 3oz. Being in the industry many years prior, the pour was simply unacceptable. I ordered the 8oz. filet which came with asparagus, roasted garlic mashed potatoes and béarnaise sauce. $68. I will say the filet was very good and the filet was cooked perfectly. The sides were very good. My companions enjoyed their meals and complimented the appetizers as well. Overall the food was good, however, the prices were at what you would pay at a high end steakhouse. We chalked this up to being a tourist town. I am giving this 4 stars because the food was delicious. However, they have some areas that could use some work. read more

We had high hopes for this place. On the good side, the setting great and service was good. On the food side - not so much. My wife's expensive Chilean sea bass was dried out which takes effort with that kind of fish. The high cost of it made it sadder. My duck leg was good but the pirogies and sauce were lacking seasoning. I am not sure who eats that much red cabbage that came on the side but it made the dish look good. The ribs appetizer were dried out. Sadly we will not try again. read more

The restaurant is subtle but elegant. We ordered the bread, Brie and ribs for appetizers. The bread is good, the Brie is tasty but too small and the ribs were overcooked. I got the miso sea bass which I thoroughly enjoyed. One of our group got the filet which he ate all of it but only gave it a 3 out of 5. Two of our group got the ballon. They were both surprised by the curry. It was not hot but made the meal more Indian. The piece of salmon was huge and done well. The waitress was very informative, attentive and helpful. Our best meal during our week in Park City! We made early reservations and were seated on the front balcony overlooking Main Street. Beautiful flowers are lined. Shoshana was our server and she was great! We were given hummus and crudités as a starter. I ordered the filet mignon that came with asparagus, potato strings, and mashed potatoes. The meat was soft tender and juicy! The mashed potatoes were to die for! My son ordered the bison steak that came with a twice baked potato and broccolini. The steak was large, and cooked to perfection. For dessert, we had to order the baked Alaska, and it was absolutely delicious! On the side was graham cracker crumbs and large blackberries. The service was excellent from start to finish, attentive, friendly, and professional--and the food absolutely lived up to the reputation. We started with the ribs and broiled oysters. Both were excellent. The ribs were perfectly crispy with great flavor, and the oysters were prepared beautifully. For salads, we tried the spinach and blue cheese salad and the apple and chicory salad. Both were very good, but the apple and chicory salad really stood out--fresh, balanced, and something a little different. For entrées, the miso Chilean sea bass was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. My daughter is vegetarian and we were pleasantly surprised by how many good options there were. She ordered the Kung Pao tofu, which is listed as an appetizer but was easily large enough for a full entrée. We also had the chicken à la queen, which was rich, flavorful, and served in a Dutch oven style dish that made it feel especially comforting. Everything we ordered was delicious and the overall dining experience was excellent. If you're visiting Park City, this is definitely a restaurant you shouldn't miss. read more

We had such a great meal here. Started with the kung pao tofu appetizer, really flavorful and super crispy (so crispy it was almost impossible to stab with a fork, but still delicious). The winter grain salad was amazing, we subbed arugula for the spring mix and it made it even better. The sea bass was the standout, perfectly cooked and absolutely fantastic. Did a little bit of adventuring today and got a little hungry along the way. Stopped in to this little hidden gem. And when I say hidden, you wouldn't know it was there if you were just walking the street. There are a set of stairs to get up to it but no elevator access. Had the most amazing lunch with the most amazing server, Christina! Her personality was so warm and welcoming and we absolutely loved her. She is very knowledgeable when it comes to the menu and when I come back to visit, I will ask for her. We started our meal with a classic margarita while my mom had a Stagecoach (check the pic if the drink menu). This was hands down a chefs kiss of a drink! Perfect in every aspect. I ordered the spinach and blue cheese salad. Yall..... this was PERFECT! Light on the dressing, theee pieces of caramelized blue cheese, and some assorted nuts on top. Really good pick. My mom got the spicy clams. Honestly, we didn't think they were that spicy. Maybe it's because we're from Texas and we are used to spicy. I'm not sure. My cousin got the broiled oysters. I didn't try them but she said they were amazing and would most definitely order them again. After our dinner, we got a desert. I don't remember what it was called but it was delicious! The ambience of this beauty is so perfect for a date night, first date, or even just a social get out. If you haven't been here before, I highly recommend. A great dining experience. Weirdly enough, there weren't many reservations available for Pine Cone Ridge but the restaurant was fairly open when we arrived. Note for future diners: they may leave room for walk-ins. Like many places in Park City (especially on Main St) this restaurant is incredibly expensive. I won't dock them any points for it because they aren't the only restaurant to charge ridiculous prices and their entrees are sizeable. The cocktails were very good and the chicken lives up to the hype. The lamb was a clear winner for us though. The mole was flavorful and the lamb was tender. I could have used more of the grits, but the dish was fantastic. For dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding and it was amazing. We would return if visiting Park City again. read more

Happy hour has always been a blast here so I give that 5 stars for value. Like all Main Street joints these days, they are mostly only ok and exceedingly expensive. Unfortunately Pine Cone ridge is similar. Definitely one of the better Main Street restaurants but not overwhelming by any stretch. read more

Dessert was the beignets and chocolate soufflé. Again, both were excellent. 2) Service - Scott and his team took amazing care of us and made the great recommendations above. Definitely ask for him. 3) Ambiance - The restaurant is located on the second floor overlooking Main Street in Park City. The view of the street below is nice and the atmosphere inside was upscale. Great combination. Reservations may be hard to get, so plan in advance, but we were there shortly after they opened at 5 and it was just 2 of us, so it was a little easier to get in. Enjoyed an adorable spot at the bar where you can choose from both the restaurant and bar menu, but otherwise, would not recommend this place. Cannot believe they're charging almost 60 bucks for a mediocre lamb shank and almost 25 bucks for an off-tasting, inedible burger. One of the best meals I've had in a long time. My friends started with a cocktail with coconut & raved about it. Bread basket was generous: bread & biscuits were good, but the gougere made it special, light & savory. Steam clams in nduja sauce was flavorful, spicy perfection. The miso Chilean sea bass was tender, juice with nice almost crispy edges. The braised lamb shank portion was generous and well prepared but the star of this dish was the grits, light, fluffy & cheesy, we could not stop eating it. The crispy baby back ribs were perfectly grilled, tender but not fall off the bones, light & crispy hush puppies; the honey mustard bbq sauce has a pleasant horseradish kick, so good. Sourdough beignets were fluffy inside & crispy out, the white chocolate sauce made it outstanding. The baked Alaska was good but we all were stuffed.
