Came here for Peking duck. You have to reserve the duck in advance. The cost was 111 CAD include one round of condiments ( shredded scallion, cucumber slices, sweet duck sauce, brown sugar, and a stack of crepe). If you need more condiments, there is a surcharge. They also have their own IPA you can try. Husband said it was pretty good! The chef started slicing the duck the minute you sit down so the food arrived promptly. There is a plate of crispy duck skin which goes really well with the brown sugar. Then another two plates of duck with meat. The crepe is really good, the best I've had in North America. It is thin but elastic. Overall it has has a really good flavor. It can be a bit much when eating the duck as one course because after about 5-6 rolls, I didn't want to eat it anymore. We also ordered a plate of dumpling with pork and cabbage. The filling was super juicy and well seasoned. It goes well with some black vinegar and chili oil. I took a star off because service was a bit slow with only one server and the owner occasionally come to help. I never got water because the server was so busy waiting on other tables. I had to for it after 20 minutes.

Came here to try some skewers. Parking here is available on the side streets. The funny thing about the cramped storefront is that well, it does look like and feel somewhat like the real deal in Beijing. They even have the Chinese-style grill going, just like at the night market. Simply beautiful. The meat was juicy and covered with that oh-so-wonderful cumin, but the pieces were a bit small for the price. Hence the 3 stars instead of 4. I didn't try the bubble tea as they looked a bit too fluorescent for my liking.

My family is a big fan of peking duck, me, not so much. I am more of the lettuce wrap person than the flour wrap, but I came by for a family dinner. The place is super cramped, and our table barely fit all 7 of us. To give you an idea of how small the place is, the chair I was sitting on and the chair behind me basically cut off the tiny walkway to get through the place. The reason why my uncle wanted us to try this place is because they make their peking duck with the meat still on, and for him it seems healthier. With the flour wrap, it tasted okay, but I only ate one flour wrap because I wasn't into it. We were also served the skin part of the duck to dip in sugar, and that was so bad, it was like I was drinking oil with little bits of sugar. So oily and I did not like it at all. They also fry the duck bones, which was so good! My only complaint was some parts were too crispy it was sharp. Maybe fry a bit less, but it tasted amazing! The last dish with the peking duck was the duck soup, it tasted bland to me, didn't taste fresh. If they served it fresh it probably would've tasted a lot better. We ordered a lot of side dishes and honestly I can't remember any of their names. But my favourite ones were the spicy stir fried napa cabbage and pig skin jello like cubes (idk my mom said something along the lines of pig skin but there is a picture so see for yourself). The zhajiang mien was really good, the noodles tasted like the ones you get at Chef Hung's and the sauce was nice and not too salty. The fried pork balls were meh, you'd think they'd be sweet & sour because of the smell, but it is just a dull flavour. Service was pretty inattentive, we never got a tea refill, and we asked them about 3 times to refill but they kept forgetting until they came by with a pot right when we finished our meal. I probably will come back here if my family wanted to, and try some new dishes. Hopefully the rest of the menu is better.

Seems like poor customer service when I was even just outside the door. Other posts show higher price comparing to other Peking duck.

A Gastronomic Awakening in Chinatown! You don't truly know…read moreuntil you go--and now that I've been, I'm haunted. As I write this, I am literally still dreaming of the Hong Kong Style BBQ Pork. It didn't just "eat" well; it dissolved into a decadent, sweet, fatty puddle of pure bliss. Walking in, the vibe is quintessential Chinatown: a bustling counter, a glass case showcasing glistening roasted treasures, and a seating area that trades fancy decor for pure, functional authenticity. We were clearly out of our element, probably looking like deer in headlights, but the staff met our confusion with warm smiles. Then came Bobby--the absolute heart and soul of this place. We walked in expecting the standard American-Chinese routine, but Bobby whisked us away to a cozy table and treated us like family. He started us off with a fragrant jasmine tea so naturally sweet and floral it didn't need a grain of sugar--perfect for a biting winter night. While we flirted with the Happy Hour menu, Bobby took the reins. You don't say no to a man with that much charisma and passion! On his expert recommendation, we pivoted to the Two-Meat Combo (BBQ Pork + Soy Chicken) with a side of their famous Roast Duck. The food arrived in a lightning-fast 10 minutes, but the real treat was Bobby's play-by-play on how each dish was prepared. You can taste the pride in every bite. The balance was masterclass: a symphony of sweet, salty, and umami. The meats were succulent, the skins were shattery-crisp, and the glazes were perfectly sticky. The undisputed heavyweight champion, however, was that Hong Kong BBQ Pork. Imagine the best "burnt ends" of your life, drenched in a caramelized, mouth-watering sauce that demands your full attention. We left Chinatown BBQ feeling more than just sated--we felt enlightened. If you're looking for a "one in a million" meal, let Bobby order for you. You won't regret it.

The char siu and soy sauce chicken were both cooked perfectly, moist and flavorful. The green scallion sauce was not necessary but it was still delicious ! Would've been great over rice. The extra fatty char siu the server gave me to try was over the top! Perhaps the best char siu I've had to date. My server, Bobby? Did a fantastic job and was very informative and I can tell he really likes what he does thru his enthusiasm

With about 9-10 people per table, we were treated to what felt like at least ten courses. There wasn't much time for photos, as conversation and catching up naturally took precedence. The standouts were the seafood fried rice and the green onion lobster and crab stir-fry -- rich, comforting, and generously flavoured, the kind of dishes that quietly anchor a long meal. It was a busy holiday weekend, and the restaurant was packed. Our original 7:00 p.m. reservation was delayed until 8:00 p.m., leaving many of us waiting outside in the cold. Once seated, the pacing felt off, with dishes arriving out of sequence, which gave the meal an oddly disjointed rhythm. A small apology or update from the staff would have been welcome, but none came. Overall, the food was very tasty, and I would consider returning -- particularly to explore more of their seafood offerings.

However, what truly disappointed me was the poor service. Even though the restaurant was not busy, the dishes were served very slowly. The first 2 dishes came out fast, but the later 2 dishes came out after 45 min. When we asked for additional rice and water, we had to wait an unusually long time. Throughout the meal, we felt neglected. It was hard not to feel that the level of service was noticeably indifferent, possibly because we did not order any high-priced seafood or premium dishes. For a restaurant at this price point, the service was simply unacceptable. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. I would not return and would not recommend it.
