North County truly is a one stop shop for all tile, countertops, flooring, hardware, and accessories. They offer the most GORGEOUS and unique handcrafted artisan and Saltillo tile among many ceramic tiles. Also be sure to check out their wood flooring. We recently put their flooring in a beach house in La Jolla and it's stunning! In addition to North County's material selections they have the most amazing, helpful, and kind team. Nasha and Makenzie ALWAYS go above and beyond for our design studio and we are grateful. I can count on them to get me pricing, delivery dates, and orders processed asap. Five-Star Craftsmanship!…read more I recently had two custom showers completed by this crew, and all I can say is... wow. Absolutely flawless work. From tile alignment to design execution, every detail was handled with precision and care. These aren't your average bathroom upgrades -- these are statement pieces. The first shower features bold patterns, clean symmetry, and a perfectly executed mix of tile textures that somehow feels modern and timeless at the same time. The second shower is a masterclass in herringbone layout, with seamless lines and beautiful integration of niches and bench seating. Every grout line is dialed, every cut is clean, and the finish is immaculate. They showed up on time, communicated clearly, and delivered exactly what they promised -- maybe more. This level of workmanship is rare. If you're thinking about tile work or shower remodeling, stop looking. These are the guys you want. Highly recommend.

All hail to the King of Tile in North County San Diego, Scott Hinrichs!…read more Scott is the role model for those who love to do business with family based, owner-operators instilling a more personal touch and experience to any tile project, large or small. In our case, he transformed the 1,000 square feet of drab-looking stamped concrete of our backyard patio, which has a panoply of views out past the preserve to San Elijo Hills, into an oasis of terracotta tile meticulously outlined with an intricate contrasting border of sparkling polished porcelain. He is from the "old school" of good old-fashioned hard work, where accountability, integrity, timeliness, dependability and technical proficiency all color the very rigors of his task to provide superior and friendly customer service. Scott is surely a perfectionist who views his work much like an artist with a canvas at his feet, ready to mold and shape into the vision of his customers' dreams. He greatly respects your property and treats it as his own. He isn't going to short-shrift you with workmanship that is either hurried or anything other than professional. Scott is quite ably assisted by his son, Zach, whose strong physicality is more akin to an NFL offensive lineman than anything else, and whose pleasant affability and demeanor for a younger man is exemplary in these days of wayward young souls! Scott also believes in starting a job and staying with it everyday until it is completed to his high standards. One of the most impressive qualities that we experienced was the level of his clean-up and presentation of the final product.......he believes in leaving the project site in "spic and span" condition, better than how he found it, but with the addition of the beautiful jewel he will leave you to last for years and years into the future. Too, in comparing 7 different quotes for our project, Scott was quite fair and reasonable, particularly when you account for his long experience in the North County and command of the art of tile setting. There is a reason that Scott Hinrichs has all 5-Star ratings on Yelp!...... and that is because he has EARNED them. My wife and I enjoyed working with Scott and Zach (Rulie, too!) and we give them our highest recommendation. One look at the gorgeous panoramic photograph we have attached below, taken by my wife, will surely convince you! Make sure to CLICK ON IT to fully open it to its full glory!
