Excellent service and friendly staff! Highly recommend! We needed to have the trees in our front yard trimmed and a water elm that was (mostly) dead removed. After consulting the Yelp reviews for Houston Tree Team, I gave them a call on Tuesday, and Jorge came out on time - even a bit early! - for a 10 a.m. consultation and quote the next morning. He was extremely friendly and helpful, and when we took him to the back yard to show him an ugly little palm tree I wanted to get rid of, he also asked if we wanted to have the neighbors' tree trimmed back. (That thing has been the bane of my poor husband's existence because it leans way over our fence and drops leaves in our pool constantly, and we can't reach the branches to trim it ourselves.) The quote for everything, including the removal of the two trees, the stump grinding for the water oak, and the trimming of all the trees in the front and the back, was $200 less expensive than the last company we used charged us just for trimming the trees in the front and removing a medium-sized palm tree. We booked for the next morning, and the crew was on time and ready to roll. They were finished in less than three hours, and they cleaned everything up really well. They let us know that another man would be coming later in the afternoon to grind the stump, and sure enough, he was there a couple of hours later and done in about 45 minutes. He even took the time to level out the ground where the tree had been. Denise in the office was great at getting everything scheduled, and we are really pleased with the results of the work. Jorge and his team were excellent. We got several quotes and they were the most competitive price and the most professional. They were able to schedule the removal of a diseased 30+ foot sycamore right away. Jorge and his wife were even aware of permitting requirements for our area and were on top of getting one. The team was very careful cutting down the tree and did a great job cleaning up. At the end of the day, they were getting ready to grind the stump but the machine broke. They did not demand any payment as the job was not finished and early the next morning Jorge returned with a working machine and full crew to remove and clean up the stump. They were quick to schedule a visit for a free estimate and kept me informed of the ETA of the person as he made his way to my place. Their quote was reasonable compared to the others. Initially, they scheduled my tree trimming service a few days out, but I requested an earlier date if possible. They called me a few minutes later and confirmed that a crew will be at my place within the next couple of hours due to an unexpected cancellation. Wow this company is very professional and were absolutely fantastic to work with. Jorge came out and gave us a very competitive quote and also was very knowledgeable. We had two large Oak trees removed from our front yard and replanted magnolia trees. They came before 9 am and were done with the trees by 9:30 AM. Fantastic company. They removed a tree in my front yard (including the stump), cleaned up the tree debris so well that I couldn't tell they'd been there except the tree was gone. They also trimmed a tree in back yard which was difficult to get to without getting into my flower beds. Not one of the plants in the beds were damaged. They were early to the appointment, instead of late (which usually seems to be the case) and the price was far less than other companies I contacted. The receptionist (Denise) is incredibly nice. I used this service twice as a result of the responsiveness of the service and reasonable pricing. The first time, I called for a bid for trimming 4 trees. Their bid was substantially less than another I received from a company highlhy reviewed on yelp.com and more in line what I recalled previously paying for tree trimming, so I had Houston Tree Team do the trimming. They did a great job. Days after they finished the work, our neighborhood arborist told us that one of the trees that had been trimmed was structurally unstable (due to age not the tree trimming) and recommended we take it down. So I called again, this time to get a bid for removing the very large ash. Again, I received one other bid from a company highly reviewed on yelp.com, and Houston Tree Team's bid was much more favorable compared to the other bid. On each occasion, I received the bid the same day that I called, and the work was done the next day or the day thereafter. And each time, the crews cleaned up after themselves. I do not see how the customer service could have been any better. read more
