These guys have done several jobs for me over the years and they are consistently good, which is hard to find nowadays. They are hard working and we can recommend them. read more

We had a 60 foot pine get struck by lightening that needed to be taken down. The team at Long Horn was great. They removed the tree and grinded the stump as well as some large roots that were running at ground level. The tree was right next to a pergola and our pool. No mess in the pool and no damage to the pergola. They also were the lowest bid. Highly recommended. read more

Prompt service, good communication, respectful of property, appropriately staffed for our specific job.

First time using Longhorn Tree solution and they did an outstanding job better than previous services I've had in the past. Alberto was easy to talk to and arrange the project. Everything was done to my satisfaction and debris was collected. They also put a tarp over my pool and kept debris out of it. It was a fair price for the work they did. read more

We needed a dead pine tree safely removed. Edwin scheduled the project for the next morning. They did a great job. Highly recommend

the price was too expensive and they tried to get me to do more work than I asked for

Long Horn Tree Solution did a wonderful job trimming our tall pine tree hanging over the house. They cleaned up so well I couldn't tell they had been here at all, except for the missing dangerous limbs. Highly Recommended! read more

Very professional company. Communication was great. On time to give a quote (unlike another company I contacted that kept saying they would show up and never did). On time to trim a tree that had a suspended broken branch and other branches too close to the house. Great care was taken when trimming the branches so that there was no damage to property (ours or the neighbors). Everything was cleaned up and branches taken away. What a great experience. If you want the job done right, this is the company to contact. read more

Finally made time to leave a review. I recommend this company as they provided me the best value and did an amazing job. I had other companies quoted me 1.5-2x the amount, but in the end, I chose to go with Long Horn Tree Solution. I had a few junk trees in my backyard that I wanted removed, as well as trimming the branches that were touching/scraping along the roof. I sent a request on yelp for quotes and received communications from several companies. They all responded timely. I was able to schedule and get them to see the trees and provide me with a quote. I chose to go with this company as they offered the better value to me. They were able to schedule the tree service a few days later, which worked with my schedule. On the day of the tree removal, they were running late. However, Edwin did message me on yelp to let me know that he was running late. I would have taken off one star if there was no communication. Thankfully, Edwin messaged me on yelp and informed me that they were running late. As a customer, I appreciate being informed then second guessing if someone was going to show up or not. As soon as they arrived they started working right away. His staff were courteous and got the small project done within the hour. They were fast and efficient! I requested an invoice and Edwin promised that I'd get it by the end of the day. True to his words, the invoice was sent to my email later in the evening. I recommend going with Edwin's company. Look at the pictures of the work that was done. Also, during the quote, I asked if he would leave the trees in front of my property as it tree pickup was this month. He agreed to do it and was able to deduct the fee for tree disposal. I asked the other companies about if they would do the same and one did not want to as it is part of the "package". Go with Long Horn Tree Solutions! Also do request quotes from multiple companies to ensure you are getting a decent quote. read more

I chose Long Horn over other companies after searching around and got the estimated costs. They are quick, punctual, friendly and nice. They cleaned up after they've done their job and the price is reasonable compared to other companies. I am so glad that I found this company; I will call them again when I need this service. read more

Edwin was super responsive and was able to get me a quote right away while other companies either insisted on doing an estimate in person or provided ridiculous quotes. I needed to trim two palms that had a lot of dead branches from the freeze and based on the pictures, Edwin provided with the best price possibly out of 5 other local companies. Not only was the price reasonable but his team did a great job with speed as well. I had just gotten my pool cleaned right as they arrived, and the team did a great job to trim the palms so that the cuttings wouldn't fall into the pool. They are professional, thoughtful and friendly. Definitely would recommend them! read more

Edwin was a pleasure to work with from the beginning. He messaged me immediately and came by my home as soon as he could with his entire crew. His quote for two limb removals and hauling away was good. Would use his services again and I recommend Long Horn Tree Solution! read more

Long Horn Tree Solution - The entire team works together and is dressed in professionally marked gear! - Tree Services Near Me

I need to cut a dead palm tree. The job is a little tricky since the tree is located between a patio and fence wall, so very limited space. I requested quote from several companies and the Long Horn Tree Solution provide the most reasonable price, and their review was very good on yelp, so I decided to choose them. The crews showed up on time, and were very professional, get the work done quickly. They also did some additional work around the house with a little extra cost. I'm very satisfied with the service. read more

Edwin was prompt with his response, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us a comparable quote, provided insight on why our situation happened and offered advice on how we could handle our tree issues in the future. Edwin also provided his proof of insurance right away and finished the job even faster. He worked with care and wrapped up everything in one clean swoop! I look forward to using his services for other projects and I'd recommend him in a heartbeat. =) Thanks Edwin! read more

Long Horn Tree Solution - Oak tree trim - Tree Services Near Me

I had three different tree companies come out and give me quotes over the course of two days. I needed four large pine trees removed and 10 huge water oaks cut at 30 feet and dropped into my acreage. The first company came in at $40,000 and when I balked at that number he started going down like an auctioneer until he got to $20,000. And I told him no thank you. The second company was like a car sales pitch man. They gave me a quote for $23,000... And when I asked them for their insurance they said they would get it to me. Five days later I didn't have it. Edwin... Contacted me immediately and we discussed what I wanted over the phone. He was able to come out that afternoon and within three hours I had a detailed written description of the work they were going to do in a quote. I told him I wanted to do 3 phases... And after the first phase if we were pleased with their work we would move on to phase 2 and 3. I didn't want to over commit to one company all at one time. Edwin was absolutely fine with that. On the first day, they showed up timely. We revisited the scope of the work to be done. And I did not have to babysit them. Edwin was there the entire day and they did exactly what we asked them to do. Phase 2 was discussed and planned. Ditto the second day of work we made a few changes which Edwin was completely understanding about and we discussed them in detail and they did exactly what we asked them to do. Phase 3 has been delayed due to rain... But we plan to do it with Edwin. I had their insurance in hand within the first two hours of my first conversation with Edwin. He even gave me his insurance guy's name and phone number. Every step along the way... Edwin and I texted each other. He was always available and was always forthcoming. Absolutely the type of company you want to do business with. I look forward to working with Edwin and his crew many times in the future. Edwin's quote for the work came in at less than $10,000... For all phases. read more

Very happy with the job they did. I used yelps request a quote feature for a tree trimming job I needed done and of the 4 business that reached out they had the best price by a good bit, much cheaper than the next lowest guy. Got an appointment within the same week I reached out and the job is now done. Edwin was friendly, talked to me before and after to make sure it was what I wanted. I thought it would be a big job but within an hour of showing up they were all done cutting and cleaning up the debris. I just bought the house 2 years ago and this is the first time I've needed the tree cut, and it makes the whole property look better than when I bought it (see photos). Overall, good price, fast work, great final product. read more

Excellent work! Edwin rescued my olive tree, already in need of pruning and in distress after the freeze. He was careful to conserve the live branches and got as much dead parts out as possible without causing damage. His assistant gathered all the trimmings, raked the leaves, and blew out the driveway. Highly recommend! read more

Edwin and his crew were prompt to come and give an estimate. Their rate was the best I found out of 8 tree trimming services. We had a big job with two huge dead trees (over 40' each). They came in and took them down with ease, nothing was damaged even with one tree near the house, and cleaned everything up afterwards. The guys were all friendly and worked hard. read more

After several search and comparison, I selected Long Horn as my contractor. Because Manuel came in person to have an accurate estimate on the work. He flew a drone to the top of palm tree to be able to see the new growth coming up around all dead leaves. The extra procedure alone not only save the tree from been cut down but also save me lots of money. The cost of removing a dead palm tree are more than $500 currently in Houston. Manuel showed up with Frank and his crew of 5 persons on time. They finished the job quickly and professionally. We are very happy for the job they 've done for us. Highly recommended to anybody in needs. read more

I recently moved into the area and found Long Horn Tree Solution via a wonderful Yelp review. I had four companies come out to give me a quote. Long Horn beat them all by a land slide!! Their work is impeccable. They don't start the job and then start the..."that's extra" talk. My neighbors loved the work they were doing, they too used their services after they finished with my trees. Just to tell you... my yard is 1 1/2 acres of large oak trees and 12 palm trees which suffered the freeze. The oaks had not been attended to for many years prior to my moving in. Thank you Edwin and friends for such a wonderful experience! read more
