Called several tree trimmers to trim a branch on my rental house that was blocking the arm of the trash trucks. I needed it done quickly and Chavez Tree service came out the next am, did the job well, and for less than the others. They also trimmed a couple of other limbs away from the house for a small additional fee and cleaned everything up. I highly recommend them!! read more

Chavez Trees came out to take down 2 trees in my backyard that were in a very tight space, along with 3 overgrown shrub areas. These folks are professionals! They were super careful with the power lines and picked everything up. My yard-front and back-look brand new ! They even cleaned the debris from the pool! I did use the yelp project feature, and they were priced the lowest. Will definitely recommend to friends and family! read more

Posted my project on yelp & Chavez Trees had the best quote. I posted pictures & this is the only company that requested to come look at my tree in person. The next day I was given a price. They were able to come do the job in 3days but I asked for a later date. On the day of the job they arrived on time & had plenty of workers who did the job quickly & professionally. They cleaned up afterwards & I'm very pleased with their service. I would definitely recommend them for anyone needing tree removal services. read more

Highly recommend Chavez Trees. They work fast efficiently and did a magnificent job cleaning up afterwards. They were the first to respond to give me a quote for tree cut and removal in a very small space. Definitely worth the price despite not wanting to dispose of the tree, but it was better solution to my problems because of it. Very affordable and I would definitely call them again if I need their services. The team was incredible and better service than I expected in just over an hour. read more

Among other things, Abel and crew cut down a huge pine tree situated between my house and neighbor's. No problem for Abel. He has been cutting for over twenty five years. His pricing was the best and he willingly texted me his insurance paperwork. Five other quotes I got were outrageous and made a big deal about the size and placement of the tree. Bet you didn't know I would say that I highly recommend Chavez Trees! 832-489-5295 read more

I want to start by saying that the work and communication was decent. Abel communicated enough, letting me know when they would arrive, and they arrived and did the work. They did a good job with what they were hired to do, which was cut back some vine growth on a wall behind my house. That's where the good experience ends. I had turf installed in my backyard less than a year ago. Anyone who has had this done knows it's not cheap. The guys used a ladder and chainsaws to do the work, and well, chainsaws get hot. They put the chainsaws on the ground between dragging the debris to their truck, and in doing so, proceeded to melt my turf in numerous spots. I did not realize they had done the damage until I inspected afterwards. It did seem like they were hurrying out of there, but I didn't think anything of it until I saw the damage they had clearly done. NONE of them mentioned the OBVIOUS damage, and instead cleared out and left as fast as they could. I immediately contacted the owner (Abel) via text, and he simply replied "what can I do?". I told him I would have to get an estimate of the cost of the damage from my turf guy. He replied "Ok". That was the last I ever heard from Abel or Chavez Trees. I have since sent numerous texts concerning the damage and the estimate I received from the turf company to repair the damage. I'm fairly sure I'll never hear from Abel or Chavez Tree. Hopefully Abel reads this and realizes his mistake. Unfortunately there is not much I can do, but I can tell everyone here what happened in hopes that they will not hire people who aren't trustworthy and forthcoming about damage they do to their clients property, accidental or not. All you had to do is call me and talk to me. You chose to avoid it. Don't let this happen to you! I def would not recommend hiring these guys. read more
