We downsized to a smaller home and lot size. The builder did a sorry job of creating drainage. Both sides of our house stayed wet and mushy almost all the time. Jose came in & created a simple, but effective and attractive "hardscape". Also did some underground piping to move the water that was out of sight under the rock off the property to where it was supposed to be draining in the first place. Now I can traverse both sides of the house no matter the weather. Jose was timely, did what he said he'd do plus, and they cleaned up great after the job. The price was fair. I'm so happy I hired Jose and team for the job! I have 3 rather large trees that I have failed to have trimmed in over a year. Well Hurricane Beryl beat them up badly and required a skilled group to get them back on track. Jose responded quickly and offered a free estimate. He and his team showed up on time and got to work quickly. I asked Jose to cut back a bit more than he was comfortable with but as a homeowner I am thinking more about upcoming storms and potential damage to my home. So I asked him to cut them waaaay back. Jose was very open to delivering on what I asked while providing me a great value. I did pay a bit more than 2 years ago but so is everything else. Jose's team worked efficiently and cleaned up quickly and without damaging anything. The branches were huge and it was 100 degrees out today. They worked 5 hours straight and got it done. Stop searching, seriously stop! Jose and his staff are timely, responsive, fair and reasonable. Each day they cleaned up from the work being done and reported to us what time they would like to come back. Checking to to make sure the time worked for us. Jose is so honest and let us know what could be done and what could not. As for the completed job: BEAUTIFUL!! The grading for the water runoff is perfect all the way from the back of the yard to the front. They squared off all areas as well. We searched and received estimates from 3-4 companies but kept coming back to how Jose listened and offered alternatives and even came back to bring samples of the pavers we were deciding between. I found JMP Landscaping on Yelp and they did not disappoint. Jose applied to my inquiry within minutes and he was able to come to my home to give me an estimate the same day. I felt the estimate was very reasonable so we agreed to have the work done. I had an area of grass in my front yard that was sunken in from the past heavy rain (our water district didn't do a very good job when installing sod after replacing the main water lines in our yard). So we needed the area leveled and new sod installed. We also had some sod installed to replace some areas of dead grass elsewhere in our front yard. Jose and Miguel arrived on time the following day to do the job. They worked quickly and efficiently while delivering such beautiful results. As a courtesy, they also checked all our sprinklers for leaks and helped program our sprinkler system in a way that will deliver better results. They also gave some recommendations about an area in our front yard and helped us make the first steps to making that area look better. I would like to recommend JMP landscape for his great service. I thought I had a leak in my backyard so I called him. He came on time and ran all the test on my irrigation system. He told me sometime the valve did not properly shut but he found nothing wrong with the system. I checked the meter and it is not running anymore so somehow it is fixed. When I ask how much for his service, he said he did nothing so I don't have to pay. Wow, that's how he get my royalty. read more

I had minor needs involving adjusting 3 or 4 sprinkler heads and negotiated a price of $100 which I was willing to pay to get it right. JMP committed to come and do the job on 3 different days. On one of the days, he sent an email apologizing for having forgotten. Rescheduled for the next day and didn't cancel just didn't show up. Rescheduled for the 3rd time and when he didn't show up, I contacted him to which he apologized because he got tied up on another job. read more
