We rented an apartment in Chicago and needed it deep cleaned quickly. House Keep Up was very responsive and scheduled the cleaning within a few days. They also kept in touch with updates. Sandra did a thorough job, worked diligently to deep clean and was very nice. Great experience. Highly recommend! read more

I have been using this company for about 6 months. A Fantastic job Maryana does in cleaning my home. Sometimes a second cleaner comes with her. I didn't catch her name- But a great job also. Highly recommend! read more

We love House Keep Up! We have them come once a month and they always do such a great job. They're so helpful and kind, they even love our dog! It's absolutely worth the price of having a clean home every month :) read more

Had a great experience the ladies were absolutely wonderful and they made the house sparkle! Definitley booking again.

I recently had my first cleaning through House Keep Up and was astounded by the high quality of service and value I received, especially for the cost! Krystyna S was very thorough and professional, I honestly cannot recommend her enough! read more

They responded quickly and scheduled a cleaning for my apartment. The whole experience was made easy.

Getting good home cleaning in Chicago shouldn't be that hard but it certainly was when we decided to find someone new. Absolutely impressed by their customer service, online experience and responsiveness. That matched with really good cleaning in a reasonable amount of time/money just put it over the top. Signed up for regular cleanings and hoping the quality stays the same! read more

Super quick response to my request, very good work and handled my 2 bed and 2 bath quickly and efficiently. I hired them for a regular cleaning of the apartment and the ladies got it done way faster than I expected and the customer service and value was amazing. read more

I can't say how happy I am to have found House Keep Up! Scheduling could not be easier through their online platform and they are so responsive to questions and requests. Our house was in bad need of a professional cleaning and the two women who came did a phenomenal job. they were thorough and they tackled even the most problematic areas. I am so excited to be using this service for monthly cleaning! Highly recommend! read more

two young women showed up to clean my apartment and did a wonderful job. I will definitely call on House Keep Up again.

We had HouseKeepUp clean the bathroom and kitchen today and they did an excellent job! They started working as soon as they got here and never stopped until the job was done. The refrigerator looks like new! The floor is spotless! I will be hiring them again. read more

I recently had the unfortunate experience of hiring House Keep Up for what was supposed to be a deep cleaning of my new condo. What I received instead was nothing short of a scam. Despite their lofty promises and exorbitant fees, their so-called "deep cleaning" was a complete joke. Firstly, the communication is over the top because they use it as evidence if you try to argue with them. When they began, it was clear that their definition of "deep cleaning" was vastly different from any reasonable standard. Dust and dirt were still visible on surfaces they supposedly cleaned, and it looked like they hadn't even touched several areas. When walked through there was visible dirt on bare feet after they said they mopped several times. Mind you this condo was completely empty and not in bad shape to begin with. The bathrooms were particularly disgusting. The tiles and grout were still grimy, and there were soap scum and water stains left untouched. The kitchen, which needed a thorough scrub, was barely cleaner than before they arrived. The countertops were still sticky, and I found crumbs in the corners that were allegedly cleaned. I also paid extra for the insides of cabinets which were dusty upon inspection. What really infuriated me was their handling of my hardwood floors. Instead of the careful attention they promised, the floors were left with streaks and patches that were worse than before. It's as if they used dirty water and an old rag instead of proper cleaning materials. I watched them use the same rags to clean the counters! When I confronted the crew about the subpar job, they went back to clean more and instead just sent more photos of the already poor job they did. The company's customer service was equally unhelpful and unapologetic and said they spent 4 hours cleaning when they cleaned in one hour, I spent 2 hours arguing with them, then they came back and took photos for an additional hour and did not clean any further. To anyone considering House Keep Up, I strongly advise you to stay away. They are nothing but fraudsters who overcharge for minimal effort. Save your money and find a reputable company that actually delivers on their promises. House Keep Up is the epitome of unprofessionalism and deceit and I have no idea how they are still in business or have reputable reviews online. read more

My partner requested a quote on Yelp yesterday for a cleaning of our condo unit. They had the best rate and was able to come out today. The two ladies were really friendly and reliable, and I loved how they worked together and also divide up tasks. My kitchen appliances and 2 bathrooms are sparkling like never before. I didn't take any before pictures, but our home really needed a clean. The company itself is also only a phone call away if I have questions or concerns. When it was 11, I had no idea the ladies had already arrived, and I'm glad I called to have that communicated. It's our first time ever having our home professionally cleaned since moving in last May, the entire team at House Keep Up made everything easy and stress free, and we're already thinking about how we can continue working with them. I highly recommend House Keep Up to anyone in the area looking for a cleaning company that's honest, reliable, efficient, friendly, and affordable. read more

I requested a Spring Cleaning and was expecting my home to be spotless and cleaner than we could ever clean it since we aren't professional cleaners. We received anything but, was more on the level of a quick spot check. Same dry rag used to dust entire house smh read more

They did a move out cleaning for our condo after the tenant moved out. He had been there 7 years and was a heavy smoker. Unbelievable the difference! Will definitely be using them again. read more

I had my home cleaned by House Keep Up 5 days before Thanksgiving. This was my first time ever using a cleaning service. I also work in the service industry, and was just too busy this year to get everything done. After booking online, (actually even before, as I was communicating with the owner, Ben, thru "Nextdoor") I received a phone call to discuss details, questions and pricing. I had worked on the day the cleaning was done (on a Saturday), but received a phone call right after the crew had left to get my approval. I was not yet home. When I got home later and started to walk around my house, I couldn't believe it. Now you have to realize that we left quite the canvas to work with, and the results were a work of art. These cleaners went above and beyond, and my home has never looked cleaner! It's the next day, and I am still finding areas that were cleaned that I didn't notice yesterday. We are truly amazed!! I absolutely recommend! -In Downers Grove (and not the "rich" DG, either ;) fyi, if you're wondering how I gauge pricing) You can enter your info online and get a price quote. Communication:A+, Price:A+, Professionalism of crew:A+, Results:A+ *On a personal note, leave a cash tip. I also asked how many were coming and left an envelope for each. read more

The two ladies who cleaned our home were thorough and thoughtful. They went well beyond our expectations, preparing it for a total interior paint job in advance of selling. (The house had not had a deep clean in 45 years but it ended up looking and smelling great!) We were also impressed by the company's check-ins, which happened regularly during the day. They contacted us before during and after to make sure everything was going OK. The cleaners even arrived early! We're very happy with the results. read more

They got back to me very quickly. They came on time and did an amazing job. They did better than any cleaning service that we had. I would highly recommend them. They organized our home, wash the walls and baseboards. They made up our beds and organized our dressers and closets. Thank you so much for your services. read more

Recently, I contacted some local house cleaning firms, since my 2-bedroom apartment really needed cleaning - and since I'd recently had surgery and couldn't do the job myself. Just one call, and a crew was on the way within a couple of hours. The ladies that worked on my apartment were very thorough and efficient. Their work exceeded my expectations, and the price was quite favorable compared to the one or two other cleaning firms who bothered to follow-up on my request. I'm sold... House Keep Up will have my business from now on! read more

This was a terrible experience. I asked this company to come before the holidays and they had an opening for dec. 22 I think. They sent one woman for two beds two baths 1000+ sq ft deep clean, with a prepaid tip, above $200. When I came home I barely noticed that she cleaned. I was lied the house and noticed the photos below. Wes the rep said "the maids cleaned under the items". My thought was then put them back messily?! Not true. These are obvious proofs of not cleaning. Looking closer I saw dirt in places expected clean. I emailed the photos to the company and they said the maid could come rectify the issue. I told them my wife and I would fix it ourselves and I asked for a discount at least. Wes called me and informed me that that the maid was on her way to my house at night to rectify the issue because I told him "I'd be home" but never asked for her to come, I asked for a discount. Finally, we agreed on a discount (half) and hung up. He called me an hour or so later and said "the maid was really counting on the money for Christmas and wants to come again". She'd have to clean the entire house again because I'm lost at what she cleaned to begin which we did not have time for. For respect for the maid I won't include her name. I believe it's the company who failed me and their rep for not sending the appropriate amount of people or providing the time to do the job right and not condemning the clean as soon as I showed the pictures. Lastly I feel it bares saying I have cleaning people come frequently and have never previously had an issue. read more

They are amazing!! My place was a disaster and within two hours it was spic & span. Plus, I have two cats! (peep my lovely Jane in one of the photos I attached to this review) After my FAB experience getting the "deep cleaning," I chose to use House Keep Up on the regular! I can finally get the "standard cleaning," since my place is generally in order, which I like cause it's far more affordable (the pics in this review are after my first standard cleaning). Last but not least, THE BEST PART IS THEIR RESPONSIVENESS: I cannot express how convenient and stress-free it is to be able to book and tip over text, not to mention ask questions. Thank you to everyone at House Keep Up for keeping me sane! Tip generously folks ;) read more

After several flops, we finally found our dream team. Jennifer and Freddy were great!! They were very thorough and detailed. I appreciated their organizing, and attention to small details (folding clothes, gathering coins, organizing counter). Out of 5 companies this is the first to vacuum the stairs, dispose of garbage and dust ceiling without asking. Scheduling was easy and fast. The price was reasonable with appropriate amount of time allocated. read more

Terrible cleaning service. The first time they came they did a good job. Since then they have gotten worse and worse every month. They are late every time. They forget to do things that are ordered. They rush through my house in 40 minutes which is why they do a terrible job. Their billing system is awful so I resorted to giving them cash. Moving on and finding a better service. read more

We needed a deep cleaning of our home prior to closing and handing off to the new owners. House Keep Up provided not only excellent cleaning services but also fantastic customer service. Jennifer and Allison did an awesome job cleaning my place! Everything looks great--from sinks to floors to surfaces. I paid $25 extra to get the inside of my oven cleaned, and it has not looked so clean since it was brand new app. 15 years ago.... My bathrooms are sparkling, and my floors look great! I just called yesterday, and they were able to schedule a cleaning for today. Wes, who set things up, also called after the cleaning to see if I was satisfied with the work. I appreciate that kind of customer service. I highly recommend this company. read more

After our first cleaning, we were convinced of how great this service is! I didn't even realize my shower could get that clean! The online booking and payment is super user friendly. I was looking for a deep clean on a house that was post construction and post move. There was dust on about every surface and the house was in serious need of a cleaning. Wes was quick to respond and had a crew ready within 24 hours. The results were fantastic and exceeded our expectations. We will definitely use the again! read more

My apartment was a mess because of renovations happening in apartments on my floor (dust everywhere and just plain messy). Sandra did an amazing job with the deep clean. She even did the dishes and folded clothes for me. I'm picky and she asked me if there was anything that she'd missed and there was nothing that I could find. She took the trash out, organized my things and was very friendly. She was on time and spent over 3 hours (despite being told two by Wes). I'm a happy customer and I definitely look forward to making this a more permanent arrangement. I've not had such a good experience with cleaning companies before and would highly recommend House Keep-Up. read more

**Update 1/19** Changed from 1 star to 3 because the company was very quick to respond and offer to help the situation by sending out a re-clean service and crews to repair damage left behind. They did a great job communicating even after hours. However with the experience I did have I cannot leave a 5 star. Unfortunately I had to clean my home immediately after having this service "clean" my home. I was very excited to give this company a shot based on the 5 star reviews however the lack of reviews should have leveled my excitement a bit. I do feel the company does a great job communicating because I had spoken to Wes 2x prior to my booking to be sure I had all my questions answered. As well as another woman who called to confirm my appointment. This review is a direct reflection of the quality of the cleaning service. I opted for a regular cleaning which to my understanding included their 40+ item check list. However, as soon as I opened my front door I could see the floor was still dirty and dusty. I began to check over the bedroom and living room and found the bedroom to be the dirtiest. All surfaces in the bedroom and living room were left dusty. Hair, dust, dirt and other spots were also visible throughout the floor surfaces in every room. Counter tops in the bathroom were also still left dusty. It was nice of her to clean the 1 cup, fork and knife I had left in the sink before leaving (that was unexpected) but its hard for me to accept the fact that I was left with dirty floors and countertops after a cleaning. I wish the outcome would have been different. For the price and quality of service I received from the one lady "team" that came to clean my apartment, I feel there are PLENTY of other services and individuals out there and unfortunately do not recommend this company. read more

Jennifer and Antonia were amazing! They spent over four hours doing a deep clean of our apartment. Everything looks amazing. They went above and beyond, they even reorganized areas of our kitchen and bedroom that made us realize that our organizational skills are severely lacking... Our previously disgusting tub is sparkling clean, and the idea of a bath in it no longer makes my skin crawl. The two years of caked on food on the stove top, which was so glued on that I thought it had become necessary to the integrity of the stove, has miraculously been removed. I feel like I'm living in a new apartment. We will be using this service regularly. read more

I decided the clean up job facing me was much more intimidating than I had originally expected. The layers of grease were repulsive. I needed help. Search on Yelp and messaged/called 4 cleaning services which had 4 stars or more. Well, they were the first ones to call me back. With only 11 reviews, these guys had a 5 star rating. I called around 11:30 and by 2pm they had a crew of two at my door. About three hours later, they had chiseled through the grease and the kitchen was sparkling clean, from the tops of the cabinets, to the floors behind the stove and refrigerator, these guys were champs. And the price was very reasonable. I will absolutely hire them again. read more

Jen and Freddy are amazing! Seriously... this was the best decision my husband and I have ever made. We work full time, are always running around for sports, and having to clean the house all the time just drives us nuts! We felt like we never had any quality time to spend together. Well, NOT ANYMORE!!! It is the BEST feeling ever to come home to a clean house. And they don't just "clean". You come home to a house so clean it's almost like staying at a 5 Star Resort! Did I mention We have 2 animals and their hair is everywhere?!?! It's enough to drive you insane! Idk how they get it all up but they do! We appreciate them for all their hard work and wish we would have found them sooner! Thank you guys for making our lives a lil less stressful and for giving us a nice CLEAN house to come home to. You guys are the BEST! read more

The service was terrible. We had our hardwood floors refinished so there was wood dust everywhere. All I asked them to do was dust all surfaces on the first floor. All they did was wipe off the counters and cabinets in the kitchen. They didn't touch the shelves in the living room or any of the windows which are clearly covered with wood dust. They offered a discount if I get another cleaning but I would never hire them again. I would rather have some money back. I had to end up doing all of the work. read more

My parents are Senior Citizens and too old to deep clean. I send them House Keep Up here and there to make sure their house is cleaned right. They always give me a good deal since they understand I don't want my parents to struggle. I love when companies care about Seniors. It makes my dad happy, and my mother not so much. She hates having someone else clean for her. Ohhh well, that means she has more time to spend with my father who could barely hear what she has to say. I love my parents, they're something else. read more
