This is a nice place to stay while in Tijuana. It's not far from the border, but they provide free parking so that you can cab to the rest of your destinations if you don't want to take on the city's crazy drivers. A big perk for people coming in from another country is that they offer free wifi to their guests. Our room got it without any problems, but I know that other people in our party were having trouble accessing it since they were further down the hall than we were. It is available though if you need it - you just might need to hang in the lobby to pull up directions or research spots you're going to visit. The rooms are spacious and clean and the higher up you are, the better the views of the city. The beds were standard and not uncomfortable and each room had a flat screen TV with channels in both English and Spanish - another perk of being so close to San Diego so you get some of their stations. Plenty of plugs as well so you can charge your devices. They offer a variety of basic toiletries for all guests as well as complimentary water bottles. They don't recommend you drink the tap water. The bathroom is on the smaller side, but it does it's job. It looks like the floor of the tubs have all been painted, but I was told it was to provide texture to prevent slipping as all rooms had that. Makes sense... But they also provide sticky mats for additional safety. We didn't utilize it, but the hotel has a breakfast buffet as well as a pool area to hang out. On the weekend, it looked to be a hot spot for events and family gatherings. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this place to anyone thinking of crossing the border for a night or weekend.

I've stayed here many times. Disappointed this time around. Always request king size bed or you'll get stuck with this

Double queen beds over looking the city was nice. They came and cleaned the rooms everyday while we were out.

I came with my family to visit TJ from California. And this hotel is pretty nice very upscale than most hotels. Price was a bit more expensive than other hotels. Price range $100/night. Which isn't that bad. It's very safe. That's what was most important for us. They do valet and have 24 hour taxis in front also. I noticed police trucks were park at the valet turnaround every night. They have bar lounge where they do karaoke which is pretty nice. Drinks are usually around $10usd. And they also have a buffet. We didn't try the buffet we went out for food.

This place is a big accident

The worst customer service I've ever experienced including the partners they scam with "hotel tonight" the worst experience ever. I rarely write a review but when I do its because I have so much anger and disbelief that companies like them are still up and running. Support us and don't book here and never download tonight hotel. My first time in Mexico and had the worst experience

Book through Hotwire. Friendly staffs, remember our names. Nice and clean room, and live music Friday and Saturday nights.

One of my absolute favorite places to visit every time I'm in TJ!!!!…read more The meat there is not even comparable to any of the places here in the United States. They have much more open food selection with much wider variety either Mexican or regular American style food. They will literally always at all times be passing by with meat, you would literally get sick of it and just have to turn the sign off (even then they still come with meat lol) The service is absolutely top notch and they made sure that we have everything we needed! Even come by all the time to see if there's any meat we would like to request so they could bring it for us!!!! That's just never happened with us before!!!!!!! We had a birthday there, and I tell you they really know how to do a celebration right, you will get the very much loud and fun birthday shoutout. Also they will make you chug a shot and shake your head like they do over there. It was so special and to be remembered. Parking structure is small there, but they do have valet and they'll take care of it for you. (I believe it's only valet parking there, I could be wrong. But we got the valet parking) Price can't be beat for the quality and amount of food. Absolute steal. 2 people on a weekend with a birthday celebration and couple soft drinks and water came to be about $80ish-$90. Which if you know how much Brazilian steakhouses in the US cost, you'd know how good of a deal that is!!!!!!!! Overall, it really sucks that this place is far away, otherwise I'd have been there every weekend :) But it is a stable to go to every time I'm in Mexico.

Fruit bar was of the freshest I've tasted, it was ok. They have options of about 6 drinks on the floor; chocolate milk, real fresh pressed tasting green juice, grapefruit juice, orange/tangerine juice (can't ever exact fruit) and others. Salad bar, pan dulce bar and the main course meal bar was flavorful. They had chilequiles both times we are there which was pretty good. There is a waiter attentive to refilling your drinks and taking plates away as needed. Some days they are running SPECIAL DEALS so, if you can and it matters, find out which days they are cheaper. They take credit cards or cash. They keep the bars clean and attractive and nice decor on the tables with folded napkins in a very decorative matter.

You can get one easily with short notice. We arrived in the early afternoon. The facility is charming & clean. We sat on the back patio. There are a lot of flies when the food is on the table. We ordered 2 T-Bone steaks (1 well done, 1 medium-rare), Quacamole, 2 beers, 1 sparkling lemonade, 1 Sprite. Approx $60 U.S. / $1200 MX Grilled woodfire cooked meat is their specialty. The Steak is not high quality or cooked properly. It is also very tough regardless how you order it. The steaks completely lacks seasoning to enhance the flavor & tenderize the meat. My partner was not happy at all with her dry, tough steak. We asked to change the order to a Filet Mignon. The waiter checked to see if the restaurant would accommodate us. We were told - NO. So we paid for 3 meals. I ordered my steak medium-rare, it was medium / medium-well, not pink, not cooked evenly or properly. It was not properly seared on the outside, tough, no flavor. My partner ordered a Filet Mignon after the inedible T-Bone arrived. She asked for more seasoning on the meat. It arrived the same as the 2 T-Bones. No flavor & not properly cooked. As someone who's worked in restaurants for years & who knows how to grill steaks; I was disappointed with the food & lack of customer service to make things right. This was not the waiter's fault. I might go back to try the ribs, arranchera, or breakfast. Stay away from the thicker cuts of meat & do not expect any policy of pleasing the customer if you are unhappy with your food. I expained to the waiter that treating customers like this is not proper customer service & affects the restaurants reputation. And to please convey this to the owner, manager, & chefs regarding how to cook steak.
