    Stained towel

Spent two weeks here via Worldmark Pros + very nice staff and security +on the beach location, beautiful ocean view +on site restaurant w/delicious food +quiet and private location which is great for relaxing and unwinding +fast internet Cons -pull out mattress in living area was extremely dirty and had to be replaced, and the replacement wasn't much better. I'm taking "mysterious brown stains" dirty. The pictures I attached is of the REPLACEMENT mattress. Talk about foul -towels provided not clean, including mysterious brown stains again (super gross) -master bath room also was not cleaned well, including previous guests hair left all over the place -ground landscaping terrible (lots of rocks, makes it hard to walk and carry luggage to room and not a pleasant walk to beach) -No on-site water filter (I believe the worldmark in Cabo has safe drinking water, this location does not) -And the icing on the cake? We found an empty condom box underneath our dresser...that expired in 2017!! Must have been a looooong time since they actually swept and cleaned the room hence all the dust and used condom box Beautiful views but so far my least favorite location. In fact, it's the worst location we've ever been too. Very much the "motel 6" of Worldmark owned units I've been to so far. Worldmark needs to step up their game considering what they are charging people to be owners. I should mention that our party staying in this room came down with some type of TD or stomach bug while here. We initially thought it was from a restaurant but looking at the state of our rooms...chances are we got sick just from sleeping in this dump

*Parking space-- Booked a 2 bd room sleeps 6. at time of check in they tell you ONLY one vehicle per room is allowed inside secured gate complex. Everyone else in your party must park outside the premises with No security to watch your vehicle. first of all, I don't have a car that fits 8 people. it was NEVER mentioned to me when I booked this room that only ONE car was allowed. I spoke with the gentleman at the front desk and I asked him to show me on paper where it says one vehicle p/room and he couldn't show me ANYTHING.. his exact words were "I don't have to show you anything , I'm telling you it's just one car". Spent at least 20 mins arguing over the vehicle situation and was never shown anything that says one vehicle p/room I had no choice but to park Second vehicle outside the hotel. *GUEST- you are allowed 2 guest to visit you as we were told at check in time.. HOWEVER, My sister and boyfriend were staying at the Rosarito hotel. They came to visit and we're allowed in , no problem. The second time around 6pm they were told by the guard at the gate they couldn't come in because they weren't staying at this hotel.. so I called the front desk they said no, they could not come in. BUT YET, They had already told us it was fine.. and they were allowed in earlier in the day.. I'm confused!!! Do you allow guest YES or NO?!? *Beds- very uncomfortable, blankets felt and had a moist smell to them *Sofa bed- even worse.. so called mattress was very thin, extremely dirty with stains and mildew.. *bathroom towels had brown stains If these are your rules , that's fine HOWEVER update your website with these rules and also mention it to people if booking over the phone, I was NEVER told about the Vehicle situation. Second update your staff about the your rules so that they're all on the same page. Front desk staff said guest allowed and then later said no guest. the guard said No guest. Had I been told about vehicle situation I would have not booked my stay with you or maybe arranged to rent a bigger car to fit us all. You need to take into consideration that People come from all over the place, take the time off work and get away to unwind and disconnect from reality for a few days and all they want to do is have a great time.. not worry or stress about waking up and thinking has my vehicle been stolen or broken into or deal with rude people (staff) We paid good money to stay at this hotel and my stay was nothing but stress and worries.. I chose this hotel because it was gated and had security. However , the fact that I had to leave one car outside the premises was very stressful for me. It's not safe to leave your car unsupervised anywhere in Rosarito so you pay more for your stay, to have security watch your car. I addressed my concerns to the front desk about leaving my vehicle outside the premises and they didn't care about how I felt.. they were rude and not helpful or welcoming. Will not be staying here again.

Rooms are always clean and the whole resort is well maintained! Love that the workers take pride in their work, they keep the place up to date. Everything is very well taken care.

This complex is gated and a part of another condo complex. Older buildings, but they have everything you could need. The twin beds in the second bedroom were a disappointment. If you have kids they can sleep in the living room on they sleeper sofa. The room had a nice view and was above a heated pool and spa. The restaurant was great and Israel, the manager was fantastic! We had a lot of fun there singing karaoke. We will be back!

On-site are to walk, sit, take in the view of the beach, city, pier, etc.

Location- great. Decent drive from border and also to other sites in the area. Gated, guarded, and safe. Staff- available 24/7. We ran into car issues and were helped by staff that went above and beyond to help us and make sure we got back to the hotel safely. Proximity to sites- great. Surf sites, downtown a Rosarito and the pier, Puerto Nuevo, wine country/Valle de Guadalupe, Ensenada, etc. Things to do- lots. The beach access on site was great. You can lay out in the sun, swim, surf, walk down to the pier, etc. there are also pools, tennis courts, etc. on site. We did! Food- great food in the area, and I didn't try the restaurant on site but I've tried the same one at the Cabo location and it was great. Stores- grocery store near by, as well as a doctor, pharmacy, gas station, etc. Rooms- clean, comfortable (sleep very well), spacious, and we definitely made use of the kitchen and grill, as well as the patio.

We stayed here 3/7/15-3/9/15. I am interested in investing into a timeshare and my friend has a timeshare so she wanted to help me make up my mind by giving me a first hand experience; therefore, she invited myself and my partner as her guest to this resort. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The property is very well gated and patrolled, this I truly appreciate, as it made me feel very safe. The rooms and entire property are clean and well stocked with dishes and pots; however, my main complaints are: (1) the restrooms are SMALL and have no air circulation so it gets HOT. There are what appear to be air conditioner boxes outside the bathroom that connect into the inside of the bathroom, but the air doesn't cool the bathroom at all and the apparatus is ridiculously LOUD. Very outdated. (2) My biggest complaint is that there is no wifi in the bedrooms. You have to be in the lobby to have access to the wifi. Wifi access when vacationing is a must, specially when in another country because many times phone signals are weak and wifi helps many of us stay in contact with our families. (3) there was only 1 package of coffee for the coffeemaker and we were staying three days. When my friend went to ask for coffee they told her she had to buy extras. This she explained is a new practice since it used to be that they would place coffee, creamer and sugars out for the amount of days you were staying and/or you could get extras for free before. Honestly, the way these timeshares are priced, I figure the least they could do is provide complimentary coffee. Oh well. Overall, we had a nice stay. I truly enjoyed being able to go out to the beach at 6am and feel very safe, but the overall experience wasn't enough to convince me that this is the timeshare I want to invest my hard earned money into.

This place is beautiful. Came for family vacation. Grounds are clean and well kept. I don't care for the cobble stone streets. My mom uses a walker and I was afraid she would fall. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. Worldmark has only a portion of the rooms there. Some are privately owned. Everyone is friendly. Except office staff. Did not get a good vibe from her. My grandson could've lived in the pools. Rarely went to the beach. Just for evening walks. Lots of great places to eat locally. Even the restaurant, Mama Mia's is great. Beds too soft for me. On the negative, rooms near the road so you hear traffic. Some people had dogs that bark late at night or early morning. And the housekeeping crew speak loudly outside my window in the morning.

I stayed at Rosarito Beach Hotel this past Saturday in the Pacifico Building, booking the Junior…read morePenthouse Pacifico Tower for my family of five. While the ocean view was beautiful, that's honestly where the positives end. The room was very pricey (almost $400 for one night). The couch was extremely uncomfortable hard, worn out, and you could literally feel the metal underneath. The main reason I booked this hotel was to relax and get some work done, so before booking I specifically asked the front desk if the room had WiFi access. I was told yes, so I booked. After checking in, we went out to dinner. When we returned and put the kids to bed, I tried to work there was NO WiFi. I went downstairs to the front desk (in another building), and they handed me a paper with nearby WiFi networks. None of them worked. I called the front desk again and was told they would check with whoever was in charge and call me back. They never did. The next morning, I called again and was finally told that there is no router and no internet in that room. At that point, I felt completely misled like they told me whatever they needed to just to get me to book the room. Their solution? * Work in the main lobby in another building (not possible I have 3 kids and can't leave them alone), or * Use another room only for WiFi, but I wasn't allowed to sit on the beds, use the restroom, or really do anything except sit there. I chose the second option, but it was a huge inconvenience. The room they gave me was 16 rooms away, on the other side. I had to take all my kids with me. At one point, my youngest needed to use the restroom, so we walked all the way back to our room only to find that my key no longer worked. We had to walk all the way back to the lobby again to reset the key just to get into our room. Overall, this was a stressful, frustrating experience. The lack of honesty, poor communication, and total inconvenience showed a real lack of care for guests especially families. I would not stay here again. Después de hacer check-in salimos a cenar. No volvería a hospedarme aquí.

Incorrect Room Type: I booked a room with one queen-size bed but was given a room with two very small beds instead. In addition to the above, the condition of the room was unacceptable and raised serious hygiene and safety concerns: * The bed sheets were extremely dirty, and one sheet appeared to have a hot-burn mark. * The towels were very dirty and appeared unhygienic. * The walls were visibly dirty and poorly maintained. * There was hair falling and scattered throughout the room. * The room had a very strong and unpleasant odor. * The bathroom was extremely dirty, and there was an exposed manhole/metal opening that appeared dangerous and posed a safety risk. * There was no hot water available in the shower. * The heater unit frequently switched off and could not be properly operated. There was no remote control provided, and staff refused to give me one when requested. When I raised these concerns with the hotel staff, I was advised to contact the hotel owner rather than receiving assistance. I found this response highly unprofessional. Cheap price-depends on your expectations, if your particular (aka Anal) then your view is it was overpriced Parking, unless there's a big event going on, good luck and/or your lose your spot in front of door. It has common motel amenities (hopefully, I read old reviews stating they didn't have a mini fridge or working stove top, etc. It's kinda cute cabana style, ours was the lower priced, no frills, not pictured on their website, some parts dated, some parts w/minor imperfections, some cool modern Mexican artsy, cold be romantic for the newly in love, little cozy, but for a person who doesn't aim high in lodging. Did I miss anything? Pet friendly (yay, but your pets should be up to date w/immunizations-to go back home/border) and people should leash, but they don't ;( For it being winter & a rainy cold day/night, hot water in our room did work, but not really hot, not cold, balanced unless you like hotter? Your out of luck. You could probably pile people in your room, might need air mattress as the floors are concrete. Your next to a Italian restaurant, Casino & bar club, and close to, if not on strip. (short drive/ride - bike or horse back) Our room had plenty of storage for two people. Of course it's very thrifty diy kinda style. And we had a small ironing board/iron. Staff was polite & accommodating, when you go to them. THE CONS: Upper case emphasis, because they are important details. No AC/Heating, being winter & a rainstorm weekend, we would have froze our asses off if we hadn't bought a cheaply made heater (but not cheap in price) from Walmart, thick plushy mink (Korean, ironically?!) blankets from Puerto Nuevo that were overpriced for out there because it was nighttime & shops in Tijuana were closed. Had it not been for those two items, would have had to drink ourselves to sleep. (For those middle aged & past that party stage) remember floors are concrete too :/ Small note: someone on website review stated they did ask for a heater & told they were all being used, that would have been the case since it was already raining when we got there. Summer can imagine it's hot & humid-bring a large floor van. Leaks due to rainstorm found randomly in kitchen & bathroom floors. No room service during your stay. One roll of TP, so you'll have to ask for another Only two towels, so you should ask for more like one for the floor (no mat) Our bathroom was tiny. No carpet Not sure if stove work, we didn't use & from what I read from the website reviews, u needed to ask for the propane Leaky iron Pictures on their link don't include the cheaper rooms, & from what I read, the more expensive luxury rooms didn't look at all like what's on their website as well Luckily it was winter & rainy so no loud noises from either walls of room, but keep in mind it can be noisy since it's a party beach town atmosphere. And that your next door to a bar club casino-God knows what kinds of noises, bring good noise canceling headphones Also, you'll never know what to expect by whose staying next to you, but the witless youngsters next to us came outside the morning we were leaving, plopped themselves on planter median that was facing our window we opened/tied curtains, drinking coffee staring at us as we're packing....WTF & who the f&@ does that? Oh wait ignorant rude people. All rooms there have their private enclosed patio/porch & why the hell didn't they sit in front of their room??? Yes children, there are a lot of unschooled people that lack respect & etiquette. Found a bug in the restroom, that's expected. Although kitchen window was frosted, there was a portion that was clear, the curtains although blackouts, were too small for windows, that anyone can see right through your room. I had a binder of docs w/me I used, plus instructions for portable heater to block it. What that purpose of window was, I'll never know except for perves & people to peep in. Those remarks above say it all for me. It wasn't that bad, this can be revamped into a better motel. It's got potential! Would I recommend this place? Of course! But only w/few critical comments from what I mentioned.

We were quite pleased with everything. We flew into San Diego then took an Uber to the border. Walked across the border, then took a taxi to the condo. We tried to get an uber but there must have been a cellphone reducer in the area. We had great service as we crossed the border but when we were at the corner with all the taxis, we couldn't get service. After haggling, we paid $30. (Uber was $20 but no biggie.) We didn't order a return pickup as suggested on the review sites since we didn't get an Uber. It wasn't necessary as there were cabs EVERYWHERE in Rosarita. And we could call for an Uber which was cheaper. We found out later that Ubers are banned in Rosarita but they are still there if you call. Either way, get a price before you get in. It is only a mile to town so we walked mostly but a taxi was only a couple dollars. They took USD as well as pesos. We didn't need to exchange much but you need small bills. No one can give you change in USD. The office exchanged some for us just so we were more comfortable, but we really didn't use much. If you did the math, you could save a few cents here and there if you use pesos vs USD at restaurants, etc. But if you use your visa, accepted in many places, make sure you tell them to use pesos (do not convert to US) otherwise you will end up paying more. Also use a card that doesn't charge you international exchange fees. There's a grocery store across the street next to the gas station that had pretty much everything we needed to eat at home for breakfasts and lunch plus beer, wine and coffee. The driveway is actually an offramp from the highway and heavily used to get onto the Free Road, so watch how and where you cross the road. Our concierge gave us a name of a taxi driver who took us to the wine route in Valle de Guadalupe. Jorge Diaz cell: 661 138 03312. He was awesome and reasonably priced. We chose the wineries but he normally chooses them if you don't have a preference. (Some wineries will not take you without reservations and some are closed on different days, so do your research and emails or call in advance if you want to choose your wineries.) I love to research, so I picked our breakfast place as well as the wineries and did the timing and directions. I just handed him a map with it marked off. That is important as you can loose GPS out there. The town is full of awesome taco places. Best Meat Taco: Tacos El Yaqui - Calle Mar del Norte, Rosarito, Mexico 50 Pesos for each Taco. Tacos Perrones come standard with beef, pinto beans, salsa), onions, cilantro and guac. But you can customized by asking to add or leave something such as peppers, radishes, etc. Long lines but AMAZING!!! Get a beer at the Mercado on the corner and meet the people you are in line with. We met a nice man the first time we went who gave us a bunch of tips about Rosarito. Best Fish tacos: El Taco Loco - Boulevard B. Juárez 97 Col. Rancho Chula Vista 22710 Rosarito We had the octopus tacos, the fish, and the spicy shrimp tacos. All amazing.!!! The salsas were hot and yummy too! Go to Mercado Del Mar to do a Tequila tasting. We learned so much about the differences between tequila styles. I had no idea. Located on the Free Road at Kilometer 29.5, look for the bicycle mounted on the highway divider. Almost directly across is the Mercado del Mar. Head into the market and then go to your left. Once inside, you'll find another large room with a massive selection of Baja California wines, different liquors, and 350(?) types of tequila. there are over 1,000 different types of liquor in the store. We took an uber there (a few kilometers south from the condo) on our way to Puerto Nuevo (Lobster Village) for cheap YUMMY lobster and delicious margaritas. That was another amazing experience. We chose El Guero from local suggestions. WOW. But first we looked at ocean view options. We ended up going to a place with delicious margaritas on the deck by ourselves... Well, there were gaviotas... We ordered a pitcher as the waiter told us it was the same price as two margaritas but my husband got an extra. It was a bit up, maybe midtown? I tried to find it but with covid... Maybe it is gone? My check in is gone as well or maybe it was the margarita... Cerveceria Tinta Negra was our go to place to try new Mexican beers. I love IPAs and many are doing an awesome job with them. We went to town via the beach (stairways use your card) and via the street. If you go via the beach know that you will have to wade through one stream of water. One day it wasn't bad, another it was pretty intense. Take off your shoes and bring a towel, lol.

Positives: the place is nice and clean…read more negatives: security was crazy rude. I went there with my sister and 9 year old niece. We didn't realize that she couldnt go in the jacuzzi. She was there like 3 minutes. Security shows up and says she cant be in there.. we are like no prob wont happen again. He stays there next to us just staring. After a few minutes we are like, is there anything else? yes, you have to wait for the security manager to come and give you a written warning and if it happens again you will be fined. Like what?! he stands there 10 minutes waiting for manager.. it was so uncomfortable all the guests were staring at us it was embarrassing but funny you wouldve thought we smuggled in cocaine..see pictures.. it was so weird.. There is security everywhere i guess that's good but they were writing citiations constantly i guess thats how they make money on the side!
