That was the best thing that could of happened. I called Linda and she quickly jumped into go mode and assured me my wife would be in excellent hands. We were still a little miffed after the other situation so I decided to go with my wife to Eureka. Linda picked us up and was extremely helpful and friendly on the drive to Eureka . When we got there her staff quickly made my wife extremely comfortable and got her all set up . I was impressed by her Linda and staff and knew I could come back home in LA and my wife would be in excellent hands . Luis Linda's husband drove me to the border and we had a great conversation . My wife had to be driven to her dr on several occasions and they took great care of that. Linda staff is well trained and true nurses/caregivers . Priscilla and Yadira are both her nurses and they are both helpful and have the patients well being as their number one priority. Make no mistake not only is Eureka a great facility it's a 1st class medical recovery Guesthouse. Thank you Linda and Luis for taking great care of Nancy . She can't stop talking about how great you guys all were . I highly recommend Eureka to anyone that wants 1st class service and the best care ever. I wanted something different; no Marriott or stuffy hotel, so I went onto vrbo.com (Vacation Rentals By Owner) and immediately fell in love with The Brighton Beach Bungalows. The reservation process was very easy; email exchange followed by a phone call, and working with Laurie and Ian was incredibly easy. They are a lovely married couple who own the two rental homes, appropriately named the "Sun" and "Surf" bungalows. Upon arrival, we were excited to see that we were about a block off of Ocean Beach, had our own garage (which is very necessary on the busy block), there were 5 or 6 cruisers for us to ride around on, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels, a beach blanket... and even a shower outside in the yard area. Once inside, the same attention to detail carried all through the house. Wifi, two TV's, every type of dish or cooking item you could ever need, ample towels, a plush, comfortable couch and incredibly comfortable bed. Everything we needed was right there for us. Even on last minute booking, the bungalows are perfectly reasonable cost wise, and the ability to cook and entertain without having to eat out every meal was fabulous. This was the perfect place to stay, and I will never stay anywhere else in San Diego again!!

I was impressed with all the little extras like organic soap (made locally), luxurious shower with two different heads, reverse osmosis drinking water, free wi-fi and cable. It was also nice to get to do my laundry there (another freebie) while sitting in the hammock under an amazingly fragrant trumpet tree. It felt good to know that the owner of this property cares enough about the environment to install solar panels on this property. When was the last time you noticed solar panels on the local Marriott? The location to this place was so conveniently located to Balboa Park as well as South and North Park my girlfriend and I usually just rode our bikes. I can't wait for my return trip to San Diego because I will be definitely staying at the Eco Studio again. Thank you to the extremely hospitable Sean for making our San Diego stay so memorable!

This place is in a great location, in the heart of Rosarito, but far enough away that you don't…read morehear the rowdy partying. The bungalows themselves are a decent size for a couple, although they are first come, first serve, so you aren't guaranteed a bed type...we ended up with the 2 double beds room. For amenities, they have a coffee pot in the room with ground coffee and water bottles, microwave, fridge, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and towels. There is a nice patio area with a fire pit, that overlooks the ocean. There's beach access a block away. Also, they have free parking. It's a nice place for a weekend getaway. The only cons: The water takes awhile to get hot and then doesn't last long, so take very quick showers if you like hot showers. Also, the toilet seat was too small for the toilet, so we kept falling in just sitting there, and we are not heavy people.

The plugs do work but no ac although there is one sketchy fan but it does work and a mini fridge (mine didn't work).But when you in Rosarito you really come here to looking around and going to the beach and not to be in the hotel all day. All in all the beds are queen size good enough for two people to sleep and a really good shower which is really what you want for a hotel , a place to sleep and shower with a budget price for everyone it's including! PRICE & Story Well me and my family (3 of us) came in during labor day weekend looking for a room to stay in for 1 night around 9 at night and asked around how much other hotels cost a night and all were well above $400 USDs for a room with two beds (FYI hotels will deny you a single bed room if more that's two people for more money and lie that those are all sold) and up !!! We so happens to stumble into Rosarito by the sea in accident to see the Riviera and caught the tenant trying to sell the room since previous reserved people have canceled and other 3 have also asked for it but since we were physically there she gave it to use for one night . She stated that that it might be a bit price because it was last minute so we asked how much and she said $130 for the one night in a two bed one bathroom room !!!!! So I'm assuming when it's not busy it's even cheaper!

I've spend a lot of time near the ocean but I have to say I saw the "green flash" for the first time at this house. Pros: spacious, private, kitchen, amenities, security. Cons: you have to go back to the real world after staying here
