I stayed at Rosarito Beach Hotel this past Saturday in the Pacifico Building, booking the Junior…read morePenthouse Pacifico Tower for my family of five. While the ocean view was beautiful, that's honestly where the positives end. The room was very pricey (almost $400 for one night). The couch was extremely uncomfortable hard, worn out, and you could literally feel the metal underneath. The main reason I booked this hotel was to relax and get some work done, so before booking I specifically asked the front desk if the room had WiFi access. I was told yes, so I booked. After checking in, we went out to dinner. When we returned and put the kids to bed, I tried to work there was NO WiFi. I went downstairs to the front desk (in another building), and they handed me a paper with nearby WiFi networks. None of them worked. I called the front desk again and was told they would check with whoever was in charge and call me back. They never did. The next morning, I called again and was finally told that there is no router and no internet in that room. At that point, I felt completely misled like they told me whatever they needed to just to get me to book the room. Their solution? * Work in the main lobby in another building (not possible I have 3 kids and can't leave them alone), or * Use another room only for WiFi, but I wasn't allowed to sit on the beds, use the restroom, or really do anything except sit there. I chose the second option, but it was a huge inconvenience. The room they gave me was 16 rooms away, on the other side. I had to take all my kids with me. At one point, my youngest needed to use the restroom, so we walked all the way back to our room only to find that my key no longer worked. We had to walk all the way back to the lobby again to reset the key just to get into our room. Overall, this was a stressful, frustrating experience. The lack of honesty, poor communication, and total inconvenience showed a real lack of care for guests especially families. I would not stay here again. Después de hacer check-in salimos a cenar. No volvería a hospedarme aquí.

I really enjoyed this resort/hotel/apartment. It also had a cute little balcony.. The front desk is actually a little bit off the property across the street but they do have great security services making sure everything is running smooth while at the pool area or parking structure. The parking is gated and has security 24/7. The hotel is walking distance from basically everything. It's in the middle of the attraction area all the bars, restaurants, Beach restaurants you name it. Overall, I do recommend the spot if you ever looking for a spot in Rosarito, Baja California.

Checking in was a little confusing because they have two buildings and the office is across the street. I really liked how you car is very safe the parking lot is gated and there is security 24/7 keeping eye on you vehicles. To get in the parking to get to the hotel building you much have a wrist band that was provided by the front desk when you were checking in. The beach is literally right in front of the hotel so convenient and all the bars are down the street less than 5 minute walk. Walking in I did not know what I was expecting but to my surprise it was like an apartment!! I was so shocked and amazed and with an ocean view!! I was so excited not just to be in Mexico but to have such an amazing room right next to the beach!!! The room came with two bathrooms which was nice kind of like a his and hers bathroom. I really enjoyed my time here and so overwhelmed with excitement of how well everything came together. Not to mention the staff was very helpful and nice!! I would definitely will be coming back to this hotel!

If I could give this hotel 0 stars I would! We booked our room in May for a wedding at the end of…read moreAugust. We get to our room, it is like if we just walked into shreks home. I opened the closet and it smelled bad, the towels were dirty, the bar soap was left used. I just didn't even want to use anything and figured we will just look past it but then later on. We figured out the door didn't even lock! It would lock but then you could jiggle it and it would open! We went to front desk and they sent maintenance to fix it 3 times and they claimed it was fixed and never was. We took all of our stuff and put it in our car while we enjoyed the wedding and then again we went to the room to check and again didn't even need a key to get in. We went to front desk to ask for a refund and they said they thought it was fixed which is what maintenance said and nope it wasn't i told him and again they tried and the security guard said well we have cameras, security guards and no one knows the door doesn't lock. Thats horrible! We paid over $220 to stay 1 night for that! For my family to feel unsafe and me to not sleep well. They refuse to refund our money and we decided not to spend the night and drove back home! Please don't stay here!

A certain charm if you're into the 1800-1900s - a better way of putting it! It seems secluded and quite a distance from the Rosarito Beach zone - where the main tourist area is. No phone. No iron. No blowdryer. The pool looked like a kiddy pool. The TV didn't work all the time and the wifi did not work. The staff was nice and welcoming. The food was delicious. The view is amazing. My husband and I had quite the experience and made the best of it, but we will NOT stay here again. We paid too much for very little.
