Pretty decently sized Hot Topic. Merch, shirts, other apparel and goods all the way up to the ceiling, shelves and racks full and full of things to look through and shop for. There's also a huge section for online order pick up and the back area has a lot of clearance and for sale items too, which is pretty nice. We were welcomed in and gave a bidding farewell when leaving. Two cashiers were working, there was staff near the front to do greetings and goodbyes as they were reorganizing things and I believe there was at least one other staff also organizing things as well. Like any good Hot Topic with good stock, this one is a bit cluttered and claustrophobic with things strewn about, but that means it's alive and thriving, especially with the crowds that were in here. I miss the days when I was able to purchase DIR EN GREY and visual kei goods at Hot Topic, but that's been over a decade and a lot of it is now pop culture references and memes, but they do have good deals and you can get points if you sign up. read more

Stopped into Hot Topic for some slime and jewelry for the teenager. They also sell clothing and other store. The value is fair. They usually have some 30-50% off one item when you buy another. The service was great. The gentleman helping us told me about my upcoming $20 off $40 and my $5 rewards I had available. read more

Heck Yes! I do miss the days when Hot Topic was less anime and more dark goth. I still enjoy this store, but there's more random things sold here that are anime related or just trendy things. For example, they have Care Bears, Power Rangers, anime characters, Super Nintendo items, popular horror film cups and t-shirts, and lots of rainbow / pastel colors. Hot Topic was a sea of black back in the day lol There wasn't anime or what was treading/ popular there. It was just metal and goth lol Value is great when they have deals! Today they had a buy one and get two free!! I capitalized on that deal and grabbed a Care Bear sweatshirt for my sister in law, The Crow t-shirt for me, and an anime t-shirt for my husband. Plus I grabbed some earrings. Service was excellent at this store! Very friendly and helpful. 10/10 read more

Walked in and greeted immediately even with all the back to school action happening. The sales associate Charlie was a huge help! I was there for some Disney merch and my daughter wanted her Hello Kitty backpack he let me know about the sale right away and away we went!! My Daughter and I are so happy. Used to love this store, now it's extremely difficult to shop. Every two minutes you have an employee trying to sell you something and I'm aware it's a sales tactic but it made me not want to spend more time in the store. I've been to other hot topics, like the one in the Victoria gardens and besides being greeted, you can browse without being bothered. Also, I wouldn't recommend trying to dress alternative and go here unless you want them to pick out clothes they think fit your vibe and try to sell you them while forcing you to take it and saying "for you." I'm not super interested in having someone else pick out my clothes, especially when I only go there to find pins and patches now. I also wouldn't recommend this store if you want patches or pins, their variety is really bad and mostly Disney related now. I would recommend going to pretty much any other hot topic. read more

Came here last Friday on 1/03/25 to exchange two items (a Hazbin hotel hoodie and a alastor shirt) that I got as a Christmas gift for a smaller size. I went in and it was busy since it was a Friday. The associate that was helping me was busy doing other things before she helped me. She looked busy and frantic. I told her "I wanted to exchange these for a smaller size". She asked "exchange?" I said "yes". She just scanned both the hoodie and shirt and gave me my own shirt back in a retail bag. I was confused and said "no I wanted to get an exchange for smaller size" she just ended up giving me store credit. I left it at that and decided to order online to pick up. Turns out the amount wasn't even enough to cover both items. I was able to get the hoodie only and only $10 left for a $30 shirt. I called the manager today but she was no help. I needed the receipts to prove what shirt. I am pretty sure they have security footage. I came in with an oversized Walmart bag with two kids. Just annoyed that they couldn't honor their mistake. I just have to pay more out of pocket for wanting to get smaller size. They even got my number and name for the exchange so I don't see why they couldn't help more read more

This use to be one of my favorite places to shop. They even moved into a bigger space. It is still too small. It makes it impossible to navigate a stroller through. It is also very difficult to get help here. Whenever I enter the store there is little to no help available. The lines are always very long. It is very frustrating when I order online to pick up in the stores, and I have to wait 25 minutes just to get my order. It would benefit them to have an online pick up line like most stores. Now moving on to merchandise, I really enjoy the selection of items available. their clearance section is hap hazard. They do have a lot of deals always available. I like that you can always find a great deal. We will be back because we are a huge fan of the Disney merchandise. read more

This is my favorite store to treat myself to new clothes and accessories! I love shopping here both in store and online, but the online exclusives are often nice surprises too. Whenever I come in the store the staff is always quick to ask me if I need anything, and every time I do they always know exactly what I need and where to find it. And if they ever run out of something I want, they're always SUPER polite about it. I've even had some employees recommend a few similar stores to me to help me find what I'm looking for. I hate that I have to give this place one star because it doesn't reflect the staff whatsoever. I've been coming to this hot topic for about 15 years and the staff has always been extremely friendly and helpful. However I think it's absolutely RIDICULOUS that they carry plus size clothing ON LINE only. So you will gladly make ur clothing in plus size sizes, take our money, but online only. Sorry but out of all the crap they have in that store, they can't even kick us down a little section for some plus sizes????? It's just really inconsiderate as a company. Especially being sister stores with places like Torrid. I don't get it. read more

It is my daughter's birthday and I am handicapped. I sent her into the mall with my secured credit card to do some birthday shopping. The clerk at Hot Topic Ontario Mills refused to take the payment without my ID, so I sent her back with my ATM card. The woman said they didn't take ATM cards. When I went in there the female clerk was very snarky and rude. Totally unapologetic about making a handicapped woman trek through the mall after a long day at work to pay for earbuds. Needless to say I will never shop at Hot Topic again. P.S. that is the only store my daughter had trouble using my card in. I have never had that trouble in the mall. read more

My sister and I came in a couple of days ago, and we lost her wallet When Cheyenne heard we lost it, she made sure we found it, and that everything was in there (which it was). I have been coming to this location as long as the Ontario Mills has been opened !! I love this store as of course there have been many staff That have left the customer service remains the same. Dani is super accommodating she went above and beyond to make sure the product I wanted was in stock. She offered to check back stock for the shirt I was looking to purchase for my daughter!! I had the best service when I went into HT it was a busy place near the holiday shopping. I had a nephew who knew what he wanted but too shy to ask. Marty was the best and eased right into the conversation with him she made him feel at ease and made the experience fun. I'm about to write about the best experience I ever had at any store ! So grab a snack and let's get into it . HONESTLY I HAVE A LOSS OF WORDS ! I went in today 8/2/16 at around 7pm . This hot topic location has the best costumer service ever . And by far any store . First off , I came in and was immediately greeted and felt very welcomed . It was An associate (guy with red hair in braids.) very friendly and great. I spotted a shirt that I liked but the size was not listed below so I asked someone for help . She was very polite and had such a positive vibe to her . (She had short blonde hair . I. Don't remember her name ) she went to the back and got me the size I needed . She was very helpful and nice! Secondly , I was looking for another shirt and I couldnt find the size . So I asked another associate ( a guy had brown hair and wearing a bobs burgers backpack ,I think his name was Josue )and He went to the back and checked for a size but unfortunately didn't have it so he helped me pick out another one . Literally made my day . He had such a good vibe ,was so helpful, and so friendly . Finally, when it was time to check out, the cashier was absolutely amazing . Again very helpful and talkative . So I went shopping at Hot Topic last week and didn't really have an idea as to what I really wanted. I love going to clubs in West Hollywood and I always love to look stylish. Let my say I was very impressed with Alex C's Customer service! Initially I came in very disappointed, as I had drove 38 miles because the Victorville store had said they had the item I needed (totally not their fault by any means) both Alex and the kind young lady helped me search for the item as well. Even though I didn't get what I was searching for I walked out with an awesome costume and some cool accessories! Most importantly satisfied and with a positive experience!
