I was looking for the cuffed shorts. Black only came in distressed (ripped). Mostly size S and M. No L. They also used to have XL, but couldn't find any. Very disappointing experience. The store's exchange policy was not as expected, and I felt that the service provided was poor and unhelpful. The quality of the product was also disappointing and did not meet my expectations. I spent my time trying to resolve the issue, but the experience was frustrating and not worth the hassle. Huge and massive now due to taking over Forever 21's previous spot! Looking around the store, there's lots of cute items that you want to try on.. but beware! The fitting room has strict rules and you must be aware of what you can't try on, and the max to try on is also 6 items. The staff didn't let me and my mom go in the same fitting room together because of policy, which was fine. She looked annoyed at us though when we both stepped out of each other's rooms to look at each other's fitting. Like geez.. we're trying these out to find a suitable fit for a family event and we're doing the best we can, lol. Anyways keep in mind that what you can't try on are also what you can't return due to final sale. Here's how the signs are worded: "ALL BODY SUITS, ACCESSORIES (HATS, COSMETICS, JEWELRY BELTS, LEGGINGS, PURSES, FOOTWEAR, LINGERIE) SALE & CLEARANCE ITEMS. NO EXCEPTIONS. ALL BASIC ITEMS. PARTY ITEMS." So sanitary-wise it's good, but at the same time make 100% sure you know it'll fit and look good on you! We actually had our checkout done by the manager and she didn't speak to us the whole time during our checkout process. No thank you or anything, and eventually after shopping and finding a different top elsewhere we had to exchange two items the same day we purchased them. After having lined up at the checkout counter, the staff thoroughly checks it before telling us we have to walk all the way to the back to meet the manager to do the exchange process. Manager was the same lady, and finally she spoke to us. Customer service definitely could be improved, especially since Q has a lot of rules to follow. read more

Came here for the plus size items felt like they had a pretty good selection of options. Was very excited to find that this is where Wax Jeans are sold as I had been getting them elsewhere for more expensive. Got 2 pairs of bootcuts that I love (wish they had more in that style) and 2 tops as a heavy boob girl I've been able to wear them bra less and they hold up great. SO happy to have this location in Ontario Mills. Q took over the previous Forever 21... so it's a MASSIVE store. Prices are always affordable and with so many rooms, there is so much to choose from - from comfy clothes to formal/put on the town outfits. I liked this store... But it is a little different. They have a really large plus size section - however, their smaller plus size items are more like regular sizes. I wear a Medium or Large usually in shirts, and in this store the 1X and 2X shirts were fitting me, sometimes still clingy. The items on the regular side were almost like childrens sizes. Prices are decent, items are cute... Just dont be surprised if you have to go up a few sizes from your norm. It was extremely warm in this store, which made shopping a little uncomfortable. Everytime I come , customers still aren't allowed to try on clothes. Personally they have some cute items but No way of knowing for sure if it'll fit. No returns.. just store credit. The Q Outlet has been at the Ontario Mills Mall for a couple years. They closed down for a couple months in 2015 for remodeling and I was heartbroken. (I did not realize it was just remodeling, I thought they were gone for good). The Q outlet is a very large store with a vast sea of clothing and accessories to swim through. The quality of clothing here is usually pretty good and the prices are very reasonable. Today I bought 2 dresses, 1 zip up hoodie, 1 fancy sweater, and 3 nice shirts. 7 items totaling $114 with tax. I think that is a good deal. The reason I give this outlet 5 stars is because of their huge selection of plus sized clothing (no pun intended). I range from size 10-14 and I am 5'11". I usually cannot shop for clothing at most clothing stores in the mall, or if I can, I am limited to a small plus size rack with no variety. When I walk into this store I can hear church music and "Hallelujah" playing in my head...... I know that sounds crazy but if you are not curvy, big, or tall, you do not know the struggle. Another Yelper noted terrible customer service. I personally have never had a bad experience here and have been here approximately 6 times over a 2 year span. Their return policy's just flat out suck and are worded confusingly, so try everything on and don't expect to be able to take anything back. I won't buy anything here. The fact that they don't allow you to try anything on, and then won't allow you to return except for store credit is ridiculous. How are you supposed to know if it fits? And then by the time you get home and try it on, it's too late to get your money back. Sorry, but they lost a lot of sales based on that policy. The employees were rude about it also, with a "I don't care, too bad" attitude. From up close, the clothes lost my attention but the store was arranged very adorably. The shells and cabinets were filled with super cute shirts and shorts but the prices were whopping pricey because the overwhelming amount of attention this popular shop had. First I found a dress and specifically asked an employee the exchange policy due to covid-19 and she said i was allowed to exchange the dress within 14 days. I go up to the registers to find out it's final sale and everything excluding the dress in my hand is exchangeable. If the employees aren't sure it's called asking. It's not that difficult. My entire time throughout the store their were employees following and secretly talking behind my friend and I. Every turn we made they followed. She cares more about having someone guard the gate at 8:50 than having her employees try to up the average dollar sale or assist the customers for that matter. If I could give a negative star I would. I've always loved shopping at this store they definitely have a variety of clothing items to choose from. Yesterday I decided to go out shopping to look for a nice dress so I tried on a bunch of dresses and some cute shirts I did about 2 rounds of trying on things and I went to the shoe section just to check out if they have anything I could wear with the outfit I was going to buy. Then I noticed this Asian man (that works there) following me around, at first I thought maybe it a coincidence that he was there so I went to the jewelry section and he was still near me. I didn't think nothing of it I figured he was just probably checking products, but just to make sure I walked alllllllll the way to the other side of the store and guess who was near me ..... yep you guessed right. I had NO IDEA why I was being followed. I had 2 items in my had that I was GOING TO BUY!!! So I stayed about 30 min more trying on shoes and he's there staring at purses and looking at me making sure I'm not taking anything ????????? I wasn't wearing anything suspicious. I had jeans, vans, and a sweater on, my hair was down and in its natural state curly. It just made me super uncomfortable that he was following me around the whole time. Went in there today and immediately was drawn by the window displays (someone has a good eye). I noticed they had a plus size section. So, I started to look at clothing. When I inquired with one of the sales people regarding the run of the sizes, she was quick to inform me (with a bit of a smirk) that the plus sizes were juniors and they probably wouldn't fit me. She directed me to someone who she felt could better answer my question because she didn't know. I let her know right away, I didn't ask for all the added extra, but thanked her and walked out. With that funkiness, they loss a sale. This store needs to hire people who have tact and much better customer service. I may not be a size 12 or a 14, but I still expect the person behind the counter to be tactful. I won't be going in there AGAIN! I don't care how cute or reasonably priced your merchandise may be. Q outlets customer service was very disappointing. I purchased bridesmaid dresses, so I thought, until everyone attempted to try them on and not one fit. My very small bridesmaids would have probably worn plus sizes in the dresses that were not made available in the dresses. With that being said, I called the store immediatley, the same day of purchase, to tell them about the news. Having knowledge of the no return/exchange policy I called and asked for a manager right away. Being that I had worked retail before I knew that although there were policies each customer issue was case by case and if need be accomodations would be made to obtain high customer satifaction. Upon speaking to the "manager" she was very rude and unable to satisfy me by allowing me to return the dresses I had just purchased 3 hours prior; store credit was not even an option. Our conversation ended with her giving me the owners telephone number and stating, "their Korean", whatever that was implying. Nonetheless, I was highly upset and now out of well over $300 that I could have used else where for my wedding. read more

The Q Outlet just recently opened in the Ontario Mills Mall. It is so big, and filled with clothes for women of all sizes. The clothes are amazing and decently priced. I am completely in love with the place. The one thing that ruined it for me was an employee by the name of "Stella". I asked if they were hiring, and she said " You'd have to ask the manager." Then she began circling her face and saying " you also need to look like everyone else here. I don't know, she's going to have to have a look at you". So then I said "So what are you insinuating?" and she just continued circling her face and said " You need to have the right look". Please understand Stella, I'm no super model but neither are you. Honestly, these people should not be working customer service. I'm not going to let this keep me from shopping at the Q Outlet, but beware of Stella, She is a judgmental one that'll be hearing from me shortly. read more
