Cane in for an exchange and not only did she greet me promptly, she measured me, ushered me into a fitting room and got the right size for me with just a quick look at the bra. Amazing! She really knows her products! She also persuaded me to get 2 more since they were on BOGO and found me a better replacement for one since she found some pilling on one. She looked up my account and looked up any other deals I had and tried to encourage me to buy $30 more to be able to use a discount. When I said I was ok she didn't pressure me which I appreciated. She bagged them all in the cutest perfect bra bag. Most importantly, she asked me for my name, said it surprisingly perfectly, and remembered it when I left and thanked me by name! I was a good customer for years but after today I will never buy from any Soma. Their customer service is terrible. I know a couple other people who will not shop with Soma again either. So there must be many more. I went to "exchange" 2 items for the exact items but different sizes. The clerk returned the two and then starts to charge me for the exchanged items. She was about to charge me $83 for a $42 item that I was about to buy, but I ended up going out of the store with nothing. That location has never had friendly employees. Not sure about other locations. I am done with Soma. Horrible experience. I did speak with customer service at the 866 area code and she resolved the issue, although I still feel the same about the Rancho Cucamonga location and the employee, named Siana, associate number 00000173600, that tried to charge for for just the exchange. read more

Just wow! The customer service here is AWESOME! my friend and I came in for a bra fitting and Janelle (I hope i am spelling it right) attended us. She gave us an accurate bra fitting and let us try out different bras until we found the right fits. She made sure we felt comfortable and was super attentive and she taught us some things about bra wear that we never knew about! The bras here are so comfy, great quality, and super cute! We both left with 2 bras and we can't wait to come back to buy more! They also offered a deal since we spending over a certain amount which was a huge plus! Not the experience I was expecting. I made an appointment for a fitting, when I arrived and checked in a women fitted me and sent me in a fitting room with 3 different bras and then never came back. Never checked how they were fitting, how I liked them, how they were looking, absolutely nothing. My mother tried finding this women and never found her. We did however find Jane who was helpful, knowledgeable and kind. She helped me find bras that fit my breast size perfectly and was very positive. I'm not entirely sure what the appointment was for if I was just left and forgotten. I want to also specify that although they were having a large sale and were telling people they were busy and understaffed, there was only 5 other customers and 2 associates on cashier, and 4 associates assisting customers at this time. Although I did like the few bras I purchased I don't think I would like to return as besides Jane no other sales associate seemed helpful, or pleasant. read more

I have always had bra problems since a breast augmentation back in 2008. I always thought that Victoria Secret was the only place to fit my DDD's the most comfortable fit. Been in there 2 times and both times I was treated like I owned the place. You tell them your size and the know exactly what to get you. If you don't know your size they find it quickly and do the same thing. I've got a large chest for my patients figure so I can't shop at Victoria's Secret, but Soma is the same for women who do t fit their sizes. If I could give this place 10 stars I would. I brought my elderly mother into this store and it seemed no one was interested in assisting us but then came up to us a very happy saleslady name Linda. She smiled and greeted us with such a warm welcome. She took my mother with care and brought her exactly what she needed. It is so wonderful to know that there are still good natured people out there that don't have judgement against anyone and treats everyone with a smile and kindness. My daughter bought me a sleepwear set for Christmas. It was a size too large for me, so I went in to make an even exchange for the same exact set which was on the rack at full price. The clerk asked me for her phone number to look up the order and if she made an "account". Being that she did not make an "account", the clerk told me that they would only exchange for the lowest value of the pieces. The same thing was on the rack at full value! Went in today because a friend had informed me they were having a semiannual sale, and ended up not being disappointed one bit! They have such an array of bras and their customer service is excellent. The young lady, Hayden, who helped me was nothing short of hospitable, caring, and patient. I went in just to look at the discounted items and ended up with an enticing lift balconette in mochachinno that wasn't a part of the sale, but it didn't matter because I feel so confident in it. Best bra buying experience I ever. I needed a fitting and lots of guidance and I was not disappointed. My salesperson Katie was very knowledgeable and found 4 styles to fit my needs. I went into this Soma with my children on a Sunday afternoon and the store was not busy at all. I am a Nordstrom shopper for my intimate apparel needs, however, I thought I would give this place a try since I have heard they measure just like Nordie's. I proceeded to browse the store and was looking at some underwear and not once was I asked if I needed help. I am not exactly sure why no one greeted, but I did not hear anything from their sales reps. After 10 minutes of browsing and pondering purchasing underwear I got frustrated and left. I will not be back. Sorry Soma you just lost a customer. I give this place one year at Victoria Gardens and they will be gone. Customers want service if they are going to spend money. I visited the store earlier this week and had a great experience. I'm a pretty self sufficient customer and I don't need all the hoopla or to be treated like a princess when I walk in. I was in need of multiple bras and wanted to be sized since it was my first time shopping with them. A woman named Eden immediately helped me. She asked me what I was looking for in a bra and explained what I wanted and needed and she came back with three different styles. I liked two of the three and requested them in nudes and blacks. She was very thorough, explained how each style worked and what it provided, and recommended great bras that gave me what I wanted but also looked cute. I also bought some sleepwear and they had some of the softest material! I also happened to come when they were all on sale!!! Soma is more of an upscale, elegant lingerie store. Don't expect Victoria secret, heavily padded, crotchless panties here lol you will find lovely pieces for regular sized breasted women and sizes for much fuller women - which I absolutely love! read more

I went in on Monday 8/15/16 My first visit I was greeted by a very friendly employee and she let me know she was training a sales person. I had no problem with that because they were very nice and professional!! They measured me and I tried on 4 bras and ended up purchasing 2 $54.00 bras. The next day I wore one for a few hours... but it really bothered my side and my front, the wires were pinching me. I went to exchange them on 8/18/16 I was totally surprised by how rude they were and not letting me exchange or return the worn one. I asked for the manager and they said she was not in. Needless to say Another sales person came in and said I could exchange only after I thru a fit and explained it was defected. I had to ask for the customer service # the DM # and the Store Manager #. Once I said that the last lady who walked in to help out said she was the Manager. I will never return to that store !! Worst service ever on helping guest.
