Our first stop after getting picked up from the airport. There are some vegan options available here kinda wish there were different veggies instead of the ones that were in my pho. Aside from that our meal was delicious! A smaller inside but it feels cozy. Our server was very helpful when we had questions regarding the food and drinks!

If you want pho in Idaho falls this is the place to go. Pros- big portions , fresh veggies, nice service , good selection. Cons- limited seating , limited parking , credit card fee if you charge your meal.

This is the best Pho in Idaho Falls, hands down! We eat here nearly once a week! The flavor is right on point and they don't skimp on portions. We were so excited when we moved here 5 years ago to discover there was an authentic, good quality Pho restaurant and have been eating here regularly for many years now. It's one of our family's favorite places! Tucked in a cute little spot downtown... the service is good and quick, and the restaurant is always clean. The atmosphere and ambiance of the restaurant is decent also - a quality other restaurants in the area are significantly lacking. I highly recommend you give this place a try!

I was NOT expecting good Asian food in Idaho Falls, but came across this gem on my first night... thank goodness! In the week my fiancé and I were in town visiting family, we dined here three nights. There are so many things I love about this place (from a Californian's perspective): 1) vegetarians/vegans have ample choices to choose from (pho, sandwich, rice, non-soup noodle dishes) 2) they serve enormous portions -- for example, the vegan pho basically comes with a full case of tofu if you order the large size (only $1 more than regular) 3) the price is amazing for the portion they give 4) the veggies/ingredients in the pho are super fresh, broth is tasty and not salty 5) they give you an option to save a bit if you pay in cash 6) there's easy parking right outside the restaurant Honestly, there's nothing to not love about Hot Spring Pho especially right now when it gets down to the 30s outside... we'll be back :)

So delicious! I had the chicken fried rice, and my hubby had the pho. My fried rice had a 'crispier' texture, which added so much flavor. The chicken also was so tender. My husband really liked his pho also. Highly recommend this place!

I did not have photo, #2 regular soup tastes good, beans sprouts was fresh but meat was very little, also amount of noodle is small for some people, it was perfect for me. If you using CR they will add 4% add to menu price. May be try " Large" next time

This was a decent Vietnamese restaurant, but cannot be compared to the ones in Westminster, CA. I was craving pho and was curious what the pho in Idaho Falls was like. I ordered the Pho Tai (pho with rare slices of beef). It was $11.50 for a regular bowl and $13 for a large. All but one slice of beef was fully cooked when the bowl arrived at our table, so the meat was a bit tougher than expected. The broth was also on the sweet side and lacked the pho flavor that I'm accustomed to. I fixed it by adding 4 pieces of lime and plenty of sriracha. Not too bad for Idaho Falls. My guy ordered the Bun Bo Hue (spicy beef noodle soup) for $16.50. The broth was very mild. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the most spicy, this was a 1. The broth lacked the beef flavor, and all we could taste were lemongrass and fish sauce. This bowl was also missing many of the traditional characteristics of the noodle soup. The owner explained he had to "westernize" it, thereby intentionally omitting some of the key ingredients that give the noodle its uniqueness. It's missing the pork hock and pork blood cubes. In my opinion, to westernize this, they need to consider reducing the amount of fish sauce! It has a pretty strong smell and taste. Overall, it wasn't bad, it just wasn't the real Bun Bo Hue. I'm spoiled by the Vietnamese restaurants in Westminster that are noted as the best and most authentic. My mom also made incredible Vietnamese food. Removing the bias, I would say this place is deserving of 3 stars. I recommend bringing cash to this establishment, as the menu prices were listed for cash transactions only. They charge an extra fee for credit card. I don't know how much more. The menu prices were already relatively high for the small portions, so I wasn't about to pay more.

I like Pho, so I try Pho restaurants to enjoy their offerings. Hot Springs Pho is good. I like their broth and their meat combinations. I will continue to visit this restaurant. It has a small seating area, but I did notice a lot of carryout happened when I dined there. And I've done carryout from them as well. They do make sure you have the extras of Thai Basil and mung bean sprouts.

Food was fresh, spicy beef noodle soup was great wonderful flavors and the veggies make it perfect! The pho is my favorite and I love the Chin-su hot sauce, it is a little spicier and for me a better flavor added to the pho. Owners are very nice and the restaurant is clean and service was exceptional

Ask the Community - Hot Spring Pho

Since I can't seem to find an actual menu for this restaurant, can someone at least tell me what the prices are like? What would be the most expensive menu item?

They aren't overly priced. Average is like $12-$13 for main dishes. I don't remember the most expensive item, but thought they were moderately priced.

Some meals don't need hype. They just need a spoon and your full attention…read more The chicken yellow curry here is the kind of dish that makes you slow down mid-bite. Rich, creamy coconut milk. Warm, layered curry spice that builds without bullying. Tender chicken that clearly wasn't rushed or treated like an afterthought. Potatoes and carrots that have soaked up the sauce like they understood the assignment. And then there's the rice. A perfectly cooked scoop of white rice. Fluffy, clean, and disciplined. Not soggy. Not dry. It exists for one reason only: to carry that curry from bowl to mouth without wasting a drop. By the end, you're scraping the plate, not because you're hungry, but because leaving sauce behind would feel disrespectful. This isn't flashy food. It's confident food. Comforting without being boring. Familiar without being lazy. The kind of meal that reminds you why small, unassuming places often cook with more heart than anywhere else. If you're in Idaho Falls and you skip this, that's on you. I'll be back.

It was amazingly delicious, I normally think of takeout as a poor substitute. After I left the hospital, I was still convalescing, and my brother and sister-in-law had sent a door dash gift certificate, so we continued to order take-out. We love spicy food, so tried ordering it "Thai Hot" as they told us to do, rather than "American hot". And indeed, that's how it came, beautifully spicy! We used up the gift by ordering from Dee Kitchen multiple times, and every time it was perfect. I've been back to eat in once since then, and they said they realized it was "us" by the fact we ordered it Thai hot and also they were our favorite dishes. Shows how much we like Dee Kitchen!

My friends and I started off with some Thai Iced Teas which were solid! The crispy duck was fantastic- juicy, tender, flavorful, and freshly fried. The noodles and seasoning/sauce in the pad kee mao were also good. As for the tom kha soup, the broth was very flavorful from the lemongrass, lime, galangal, etc. And the coconut milk added a nice creaminess to the soup. Not to mention, there was so much chicken, veggies, and mushrooms in the soup! Overall, my friends and I were very pleasantly surprised from our experience here at Thai Plate and we hope to come back when we visit Jacksonhole again!
