However, they are on Class Pass so I am able to book my classes for here right through the app. The class that I go to on Saturday mornings is the strength circuit course with Robert. It is hands down my favorite class in Milwaukee. It is so tiny and intimate so you feel very comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and getting minor corrections to better improve your form/strength. Every Saturday I go, the class is different in some senses. There is always a TRX, floor and mat part to the class but the movements are not the same. The class is only 45 minutes so it goes by quite quickly. Robert is a terrific instructor and can provide help to men/women of all ages. If you are part of Class Pass or belong to this studio already, that class is a must!!

I had a YMCA membership but have…read morealways been curious about the WAC and how if might differ/be better, etc. My initial impression was, I'm in a gym on a college campus. It was busy when I went (5:30pm on a Monday) which made getting a leg or arm circuit done on the weight machines a bit tricky. Now, if you wanted to use an elliptical or other cardio equipment those machines were mostly open. Some things I absolutely loved about this WAC location: The indoor track inside (9 laps = one mile). In the winter, it's like you're walking in a snow globe. There are huge floor to ceiling windows that offer great city views. The staff! Very warm, helpful, patient and kind. The steam room and sauna in the locker rooms. Keys to lockers are provided as well as towels and there's shaving cream in the locker room showers. Free parking so long as you download the parking app used here and scan the QR code before leaving the gym (parking is free for up to 3 hours). Olympic size/caliber weight room on the second floor (this gym is only two floors and does not have a gym). After my one day workout sesh, will I be back? If I lived downtown on the east side of the city then yes I would hop on the WAC train and member up. But being a 15 minute drive from downtown, and not always in the mood to workout after work I don't think I will be calling this gym "mine" any time soon. Regardless, it was a lot of fun to try this location out and to see the nice amenities the WAC has to offer downtown.

While one of the smaller WACs, it has lovely views of the city from its location on the 6th floor of the 411 building. Theres an indoor track that runs along the outside of the gym, and a second floor (the 5th) has more weight training areas and another group exercise studio. They do a lot of classes if you're into that sort of thing, and while the equipment isn't super fancy it gets the job done and there isn't usually too long of a weight fot anything. The great thing about the WAC is I consider it a "full service" type of club with free lockers, towels, coffee, very nice showers and other services (for a fee ) like PT and massage. The WAC is more expensive than a planet fitness but you definitely get what you pay for here No pool sadly at this site but there is a steam room (and maybe a sauna?) In the locker room. Nice friendly environment to work out in - 5 stars!

We checked in at the gift shop but then headed down the stairs to the salon itself, where water, tea, coffee or mimosas were waiting for you. After a few moments, our massage therapists greeted us and walked us back to the room and talked to each of us separately to understand what our sore areas were and what we needed most from our session. I've had quite a few massages in my life and this was hands down the best massage! She was gentle yet effective at getting out the knots and relaxing all of the sore muscles I had. I would easily come back to Well Spa for the massage alone! It was pure heaven. When it was over, even 80 minutes flies by too fast, we were offered water or tea and headed back to the waiting room where special Valentine's Day macaroons waited for us with our drinks. The pedicure was also very relaxing and my nail tech was extremely detail oriented and friendly! I appreciated her input to help ensure the color I chose was as vibrant as the bottle looks by using a darker color as a base. My feet are so soft and the nails look perfect! Both the massage and the pedicure made for an absolutely amazing day and I'm so happy Well Spa & Salon were able to provide services with friendly & talented staff that made the day so perfect and more than I could've imagined! My therapist, Debbie did an incredible job identifying knots and working them out. The entire experience was very calming. After the massage, we had appointments for pedicures. Sara was great and did an excellent job pampering my feet. The paraffin wax treatment also provided comfort to my ankles which take a beating from running. We'll be back for sure.

They have those squat machines you can rig to do bench presses but it's a pain to get it situated just right. Just get some dedicated bench machines. Otherwise, everything is very clean, they've got showers, a little spa area for the Black Card members, and the location's pretty cool. A good reason to get up super early and fit in a workout before work.

The pool is nice but not that large and depending on how many people are there, it can be tight. It's also near the upstairs restaurant, so you might get to wait at the elevator with half of the people in dressy attire and half in bathing suits. The artwork in the conference/event area is lovely and throughout the old part of the hotel is really interesting. I love quirky and this had a mix of historic and quirky which was nice. Parking was attached (just a different elevator if you're staying in the historic part of the hotel).

The nurse told me that nothing is diffusing but she is what smells because she slathers herself in some oil to disinfect. 1) I like nurses to use proper cleaning techniques 2) the response should have been that she will go wash off or try to wash off the oil. But no. That didn't happen. So I tried to fill out the paperwork but the smell was awful. Then a guy that works there came in and said that it smells great. I said no, it doesn't. He asked what's wrong with me that I don't think it smells good. I said it made me feel sick and my sinuses don't like it. He told the nurse they should "throw her in the sauna." What?! I'm not the problem and I don't need to be thrown anywhere. Your crazy overuse of a concentrated oil is making me ill! I tried to finish the paperwork but I couldn't thing clearly enough to do it. I had to leave. So now I feel awful AND I didn't get a b12 shot. I'm totally disappointed because I'd have liked to use some of their other services but I just felt sick and put down.
