this was such a cool experience!! we did the float and couple's massage--both were great!! the float was so different than i expected! very warm water and super comforting. you take a shower before (in the same room as the pool u float in) and we did an hour. i forgot where i was a couple times, thats how relaxed i was!! salt water is definitely interesting, be prepared to feel it!! the music was under the water too so u cant hear it much when standing up but as soon as u let ur ears under the water, it sounds so cool!! the massage part was a great finisher for the experience. they did an amazing job working on my body and were attentive to what felt good/what didnt. definitely would come back! front staff was great too, very helpful and made sure u had everything u need read more

Wow! That is one of the words that comes to mind when I speak about Float Oasis. It was one of the best experiences of my life. The one hour float I did was rejuvenating and out of this world- I fell asleep (in water!!!). The relaxation I felt is one I want to share with everyone I know. It was so fantastic that I signed up for the single float- which you can share! I am booking a float for my husband so he can experience the out of body experience of floating. I cannot say enough about the amenities. Every thing you could possibly need is available. I am sure my hubs will use the beard oil that provide. Float Oasis has thought of everything you might need. We had no idea what to expect but were looking for a relaxing couples experience to enjoy after our wedding. This place had great reviews online, is close to where we live/work and had a ton of evening time slots available for the date we were looking for. When we arrived, it was a bit strange because it is in an inconspicuous building with a bank. Not your typical spa storefront, but don't let it deter you from going inside and giving it a go. Everything is very clean and the minute you open the exterior door you are greeted with the calming scent of eucalyptus. The check-in process was extremely efficient and pleasant. The women checking us in was prompt, polite and calmly explained each step of the check-in process and how the float/overall experience would work. They had IPads we used to complete our check-in forms and then we completed charts with images of the human body where we could circle areas we wanted extra time spent on during the massage or areas we wanted to avoid. They also provided complimentary hot stones, stretching and/or essential oils. You also indicate on the chart the type of massage you want such as Swedish or Chinese deep tissue as well as the type of pressure/pressure level you would like. Bonus - their bathroom has a smart toilet with a remote-control bidet. It's the only restroom in the place. The float was very nice, peaceful and overall, a unique experience. We floated together and recommend both the floating headrests and ear plugs. The music is hard to hear at certain spots in the tank. We opted for the ocean waves - it could be different if you go with the meditation music. Also, for us, it was difficult to relax but I think that is because you have to quiet your mind and that is easier for some than others. We got the saltwater in our eyes so make sure you have the spray bottle near the float tank doors for easy access. We didn't have it next to the door to start and had to jump out to rinse our eyes in the shower. Now, the massage part. We signed up for a couples massage. We were placed in the same room. It was a clean space. They only have female masseuses. We do not think they looked at our client preference sheets at all or if they did, they had questions and did not ask. He wanted a Swedish massage with medium pressure. I wanted a Chinese deep tissue massage with medium pressure and some places with hard pressure. We both got wrecked (lol!) I mean, we got elbows all over the body and the most intense pressure I have ever felt during a massage in my life. At one point, he asked for lighter pressure but later he told me nothing changed. The next day we were sore and some parts of us felt better - like our muscles were looser in our legs, for example. But this was not relaxing at all. It made for an excellent story, and we may come back especially because of the location and prices but we will be much more vocal about our preferences and be sure to speak up much more than we did this first time. If you have never had a massage before this may not be the best place to get your first. But for those who have had many, including in other parts of the world like Asia, then you will do fine. read more

I absolutely love this place. My sister and her husband have a membership here and come probably several times a week and every time I am up here for business/pleasure then we stop on over at Float Oasis. The first time I floated I had no idea what to expect and it was a bit challenging to get out of my end and just relax and meditate. After a few visits it became easier and easier and now I absolutely love it. The staff here are friendly and I love the showers (regular and rain shower) and the rooms are always clean, freshly stocked with shampoo, body wash, and conditioner and they smell good too! The enclosed eight-foot Floataround by FloatawayUSA is incredible. This place literally has the best floating pools one can buy (about 50K) each and they have several of them. It is easy to book an appointment here, as it can be done over the phone or just online. The prices are very reasonable as well. Their family membership at $100 a month is a great deal, as it includes 3 - 60 minute floats a month and anything after those it is 50% off for additional hour-long floats ($30), if you pay in cash you will get a $5 credit for next time. I'd been wanting to try a float like this for years and finally took the plunge. Float Oasis was a great first experience - from the beginning when I called to book my session, the staff was very helpful at explaining my options and walking me through the process. When I arrived, I was welcomed into a relaxing space and given a tour of the facilities. My float was so wonderful and I decided that I want to sign up for a monthly membership to continue the relaxation! The amenities are also wonderful - great lotions and hair care products, plus relaxing teas and snacks. My husband & I took the couples float for the 1st time and we found it very relaxing. I was specially interested in floating for its health benefits. Being your first, 60 mins. can feel like a long time. Next time we'll float for 30 mins. We definitely enjoyed it, and I was so relaxed that I fell asleep! I've been wanting to float for so long, and when I saw an ad on Facebook about Float Oasis's Couple Floats, I was sold. For $75, my husband and I got to float together for 45 minutes. When you enter the building and go down the stairs, they are (currently) still doing a little work on the landing area. You will take your shoes off and slip on some sandals they have by the shoe racks. There isn't a sign telling you to do so (or not), so perhaps it's optional? Lol. The vibe of the whole place is so relaxing. So many pretty plants, etc! The two staff members we worked with (11:45 AM float on 4/8/18) were AMAZING. They immediately made us feel welcomed. They asked if we needed to use the restroom (THAT HAS THE COOLEST TOILET EVER), then led us to our room where we received a brief orientation before we were left to shower and float! The float itself was amazing. I alternated between almost sleeping and being insanely alert. I got salt in my eye once, but we don't need to talk about that! Hahahah After our float, we were welcomed to use the vanity room to dry our hair, etc. They have a bunch of complimentary products for you to use, as well. Once my hair was (finally) dry, we made our way to the lounge and sipped some complimentary tea while the staff checked in on us. Because we paid full price (versus paying a promo price), we received $10 of "Float Cash". Our parting gift from the staff was some extra reminders to hydrate and relax today. Overall positive experience. Owner/manager and staff were friendly and communicative. Rooms were quiet and clean, and good atmosphere. Two negatives for me: 1. Company policy is that you can't massage before a float, only after (to keep massage oils out of tanks). For this reason I had to skip my massage- I don't like interacting with people for an hour or two after a float. 2. Temperature in the rooms was several degrees too cold. I prefer the room temperature to match the liquid temperature so that you can't feel the difference between the liquid and air (hence the term "sensory deprivation") read more

After an initial walk through, I decided to give a 30 minute float a try. I am impressed based on the initial visit. For my needs at the moment, a 30 minute float is just right even though it's cheaper to get a 60 minute float indirectly. I'll be back in the near future. I personally would of liked the water to be warmer than it was. I'm a hot tub type of a person. But my aches and pains went away and very relaxed after a 30 minute float. read more

I have mixed feelings about my first float. The good: the facilities were very nice, clean, and didn't miss anything (even a hair tie in the room in case you had forgotten one). I reserved an open pod, but was shuffled to an enclosed one, which worked out okay. I enjoyed the music and tried different variations of lights including starry night and complete darkness. The bad: I found it less relaxing than a massage. The salt definitely makes you buoyant, but I still had a hard time shutting down my internal thoughts - maybe you need to go a few times? Floating just might not be for me: I felt generally sticky for 30 minutes and the water smelled odd - possibly from the salt, but also because it was recycled. I would go again with an interested friend, but it's not my go to for relaxation. read more

An amazing place to float! I've never done a couples float before (floating with my partner), but they have float cabins large enough to accommodate 2 at the same time, if you choose to do so. Float Oasis was easy to find, parking is abundant and the space itself is beautiful. I was greeted by the owner, Asa, given a brief tour and orientation, and then left in one of their float suites to float. The round float cabins they have are stunning. We did the one with the starlight ceiling, which actually makes you feel like you are under the night sky (we turned them off pretty quick as I prefer darkness when I float). The dual showers in the suites were perfect since I was to be floating with my partner. I thought that we'd be bumping into each other during the float, but it was actually very easy to stay still and not bump. The temperature was perfect. After a little time had passed I lost track of the water and it felt like floating in space. Floating with my girlfriend of nearly 7 years was incredible. Just being alone with nothing else: no lights, sounds, smells, tastes, etc., just her and I, made for a deep connective meditation. I prefer floating alone for the deep introspection that seems to come easy after a few floats (don't float once, float a few times to really begin to see what it's all about!), but if I had the option where I live, I would likely float solo a few times a month and float with my partner once a month as well. I booked the couple massages for my husband and I and I was hesitant but so glad we did it. It was easy to book and I appreciated the reminder text message as well. I wasn't too excited about having to wear my mask during the massage but I forgot it was on! We both thoroughly enjoyed our massages! Each massage therapist gave us the ultimate experience! I visited Float Oasis for the second time today, and if I hadn't been fully sold on the first go round (though, let's be honest, I was) I'm committed to being a member now. A few tips! - If you're not sure if you'll like it (it can get kind of intense-- when you do the full 'deprivation experience' time kind of gets lost and it can be a little intimidating/overwhelming. However, they do offer lights/sounds if that sounds like it'd be a bit too much) you should go on a weekday morning. I did a couples float for a half an hour, and it was half off-- just 35 dollars! And not only is the floating great, there are teas and water in a lounge, as well as a beauty area (fully stocked) to get ready in after your float. Definitely worth the $35. -DO NOT SHAVE THE DAY OF. Seriously, they use a loooot of salt in the water to keep you bouyant, and salt + wounds = not a happy customer. If you have any cuts, I would suggest buying hydroseal bandaids (Walgreens has them) to keep the salt water off of your wounds. -Bring a bookbag to keep your clothes in while you're floating-- the floor can get wet with your pre- and post-shower. My fiance and I floated a few weeks ago and had a great time. We've been getting massages at Relaxation Oasis every couple months over the last year or so and it was recommended as an add on so we splurged for Christmas. It was so worth it! I was nervous about it, it is a very different and indescribable experience and it took about half of the time to get used to the feeling and truly relax (since it was my first float ever) but once I did, it was fantastic. My boyfriend and I just did our first float today and had a wonderful experience! The staff was very friendly and showed us around and got us acquainted with the room before she left us to float. We decided to float in the dark with only the stars on. I have never felt so peaceful and relaxed than I did once I exited the tank. We chose 90 min and the time flew by. Before we knew it, our time was up. The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash they give you smells amazing too! We will most definitely be back regularly! I floated for the first time yesterday and it was amazing! I am a full-time working mom of a two year old and am 7 months pregnant with #2... my brain never shuts off. I thought that floating might be a neat experience but I probably wouldn't experience the full effects that are touted. However, I relaxed so hard that I think I honestly drifted into dreamland for a few moments. On top of that, it was such a neat experience being pregnant. I thought about how this is probably the closest thing to experiencing what my baby is experiencing in the womb. Feeling the baby roll and kick around as I was floating around myself was surreal. In addition to all of this, my skin felt so smooth coming out of the tank! It was like full body exfoliation. The entire facility (I was in the Brookfield location) was beautiful, clean, and serene. You can tell they've taken the time to hand pick every decoration and amenity. The dual shower head when showering off after, made me feel like I was in a high end spa and the body wash provided had a scent that was to die for! I definitely recommend this for other pregnant ladies (or significant others) out there!
