I can't say enough good things about her and the things she's doing at Soul. She's a top notch trainer and is just an all around great person. Her workouts are always challenging and tuned to your needs. In addition to personal training, I've done a few of the other classes. On Tuesday's Kellen M does a Primal Movement class. If you've never done Primal (MovNat, etc.) then you don't know what you're missing. This is truly "functional" fitness at it's best. On Fridays Marina H does a strech class that is phenomenal. If I didn't already have another contract gym membership, I'd just stick with Soul. Their overall schedule is well-rounded with strengh, yoga, kettlebells and other movements. They also puts on a bunch of community activities like Maker's Markets and fun events like roller skating (if only I could). Do your body a favor and give them a try!

I really have appreciated Eileen's guidance and how much emphasis there is on movement, function, and form. The workouts always have modifications, and I appreciate that everyone moves at their own pace (and that moving quickly is rarely the emphasis). Since I've been coming, I feel (and look!) stronger, more comfortable using gym equipment, and increased awareness of how my body moves. I like that there is a wide variety of offerings throughout the day, a diversity of ages and backgrounds in clientele, and a little bit of something for everyone. There are events, like an annual Brewer's tailgate, in addition to hosting different practitioners of fitness/nutrition/wellness. I think that Eileen's has got something going on that more gyms could look to and that Soul Collective is worth giving a try if you're looking for a gym that values movement and holistic health!

A great class environment, where the members made you feel welcome, Murph did a great job coaching and the workout was challenging. The place looks like shady on the outside, but the inside has a premium lifting area and separate workout space. I would recommend this for a drop in or a place to become a member.

The owner immediately responded to my email request to join in a class, and said I could drop by for a few WODs while I was in town. They usually have a $15 drop in fee per class, but he said if I purchased a $20 t-shirt I could enjoy BrewCity until I flew out. Hey, sounds like a good deal to me. I will proudly sport my BrewCity t-shirt everywhere. It's an awesome design! I came into BrewCity for a WOD yesterday. While the gym was small, it seems as if they really make due with the space they have. The coach was friendly, and I immediately felt welcome. Good instruction, decent amount of equipment and comfortable atmosphere. As someone who has done CrossFit in many different places, I would recommend BrewCity to anyone looking for a great gym AND community. You will walk in there as strangers, and leave as friends. Thanks BrewCity for a great experience. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Milwaukee.
