I have not been this sore in ages, and I didn't know muscle groups could hurt like this. The workout itself would garner at least 4 stars, but the friendly environment gives this place the 5th. Corissa is my go to instructor but you can't go wrong with any of these amazing people. Bend and Chill is by far my favorite class at Afterglow because it really helps me reflect and meditate after a long day, week, or whatever it may be. My favorites are Xiomary and Alexandra. They bring such positive energy, clear instruction, and thoughtful corrections to every class. They offer modifications and advancements so everyone can feel successful, and they genuinely care about your experience. You leave feeling strong, supported, and empowered. The instructions were easy to follow along with, the playlist was marvelous and it was hard! I loved how sore I was the next day from working muscles I typically don't work a lot of the muscle they hit (news to me! Ha!). The instructors were all lovely and so friendly. I ended up buying 20 classes after class and can't wait to get back! The studio is so nice as is overlooks the lake and they offer childcare for some of the morning classes which is awesome!

I'd always been a little intimidated by group fitness classes full of women, but one day I just said "screw it!" and I attended my first (FREE!) class. I expected a tough, full-body workout, and I got it! But what I DIDN'T expect was such a warm, welcoming, judgement-free, and encouraging group of women. The owners, Nikki and Christina, will know your name the second you walk in the door and can always be found chatting with clients. I can talk all about the physical results I've experienced from barre classes (because they're there!), but it's so much more than that. It's a lifestyle studio. The workout…read moreclasses continue to challenge me and the coaches are always welcoming and accommodating when you need modifications. I worked out a few days a week with 2 of my pregnancies and Britt was great at helping me find ways to still get a great workout, while being safe. Now that I have children I have taken advantage of the Ninja open gym classes for kids. My little ones love running around the obstacle course, climbing the rock wall and attempting to get to the top of the warped wall (think American Ninja Warrior!) We also hosted a birthday party here! It was perfect. Britt takes care of everything and it was laid back and enjoyed by all. Check out Legacy! It is amazing!
