Specialties
Founded in 2009, Hot Yoga Milwaukee is proud to offer the hot yoga experience for the Milwaukee and Brookfield area. Locally owned and operated, our downtown Milwaukee and Brookfield locations share teachers, staff, and class types. We pride ourselves on friendly, approachable customer service, and in providing the best hot yoga experience to all students, regardless of level of experience, age, or ability.
Hot Yoga Milwaukee offers several class types: Hot 26 (formerly known as Bikram Yoga), Vinyasa Flow, Core, Yin, and Sculpt. We currently offer online streaming classes for members as well.
Please visit our website for full descriptions of class types, guidelines, tips for first timers, and more. Our doors open 30 minutes before each class time, are typically locked during class, and are open for the 30 minutes following each class.
Our facilities use non-porous flooring which is professionally cleaned nightly and disinfected between classes. Our state of the art heat and humidity system provides constant fresh air as well as built-in UV disinfecting lights for safety. We have spacious changing rooms and multiple showers (4 for the women, 3 for the men).
Pre-registration is not required but is recommended, especially for first-timers since you'll need to electronically sign the waiver. Download our app or visit our website for the latest schedule information.
Hope to see you soon!
History
Established in 2009.
Hot Yoga Milwaukee was originally called Bikram Yoga Milwaukee when it was started in 2009. The studio took off and became a staple of the local yoga community, went through a name change to become more inclusive, and expanded to Brookfield.
Hot Yoga Milwaukee is 100% locally owned and is not affiliated with any corporate chains.
Meet the Business Owner: Tracie P.
Though Tracie has over a decade of teaching and extensive training in the mind-body field, she still loves that cleansing feeling of newness, strength, and flexibility of mind and body that yoga provides. To Tracie, teaching is all about her students and the journey they are moving through. She understands that students are all at different levels and may need modifications in the asanas to work for their particular body on that particular day. The patience and empathy Tracie brings to class can be traced back to her years as a Special Education teacher, a field in which she holds a Master's degree. The spirit of teaching she embodies can be seen through the extensive yoga anatomy, wellness, and mind-body research which she loves to do in her time away from the mat.
