Really, Really love this gym! Have been coming here for the past 7 months! This is the only gym that I managed to stay consistent and with that- noticed remarkable results (lost 43lbs) This gym is loaded with MANY amenities! Sauna, hot tub, cafe, a complete high end SPA and Salon, work center, daycare and gym! They also have an outdoor area-literally looks like a theme park. They have a bistro as well outside for adults. Coming here is worth it! The clientele is what really motivated me to commit to my health journey, everyone looks so damn good! Staff here is always pleasant! Really Side Note: They offer a complimentary session/trainer evaluation on your first visit. As far as life times go this is definitely on the lesser end. This one isn't as clean as other lifetimes I've been to. The equipment selection itself is plenty. The smoothies in the kitchen downstairs are so good though. I'm a huge fan of the LifeTime brand. Cheers! read more

I came here three times during my recent visit to Brookfield last month on Business and to visit my family. Overall, this is a very impressive Life Time (we have 6 in Georgia) and I love the atmosphere here. Literally, they have anything and everything one could want in a gym (Cafe, Gym, Cleaned Lockers, Steamroom, Sauna, Yoga, Pilates, Cycling Classes, A DPT (Physical Therapist On Staff) for recovery/injuries, Massages, Two Basketball Courts, A Theatre, Childcare, Individual Quite Rooms for Students or to work, Conference Rooms, Out Door Pool, Indoor Heated Pool (water temp was probably around 86) and gosh who knows what else they offer. This place is definitely not your typical gym and as someone who has a degree in Health & Fitness Management it appears to be run well and they have the best of the best fitness equipment. Though I will say, this is not for your average person who is on a budget. The people at the front door literally wear suits, and the membership fee is $100 a month per person, compared to LA Fitness at $27. Members are given one guest pass per month, so my sister gave me hers and the next two times I paid $30, yes $30 per day ($60 total) to use this club as a non-member. The good thing with membership at this Lifetime it includes access to many other Lifetime's outside the state of Wisconsin, which is great, considering this is the only one in the state and if you travel, you will be able to access others. I will say on a positive note, during my visits here we ate at their Life Cafe. Julia at the Life cafe was incredibly kind and provided outstanding service inside the cafe. They have bottled water behind the cash register that cost much more than what they have in those coolers on the right, so she told us to get them there instead to save. Which was a kind gesture. During my first two visits everything went well and on my third, I forgot my driver's licenses at my sister's house, so at first, they would not let me into the gym, even though I was paying them $30 (I had cash)k, but after speaking with the manager she let me in as I had no way to get back to my sisters house to retrieve my drivers licenses as she was in a pilates class. As someone in the fitness industry, my biggest pet peeve is that the majority of gyms/health clubs do not clean their locker rooms/showers. This leads to all types of fungal infections and during my visit it was nice to see during midday someone was sanitizing the showers. Went on a guest pass to check it out as I've had 5 different gym memberships throughout the years so lots to compare. Looks like a hotel when you walk in and staff in suits. Not sure why they need to be in suits at a gym, but ok. Class schedules didn't jive with mine, so didn't get to try those. The equipment is state of the art in the gym and plenty of room so you don't need to wait for a machine. It was a Saturday and I expected it to be really busy, but it wasn't at all. There's conference rooms you can use if you want to "work from gym"? Seems strange to me, but perhaps for the business traveler who isn't doing business elsewhere or doesn't like their hotel. On site hair salad also seemed odd to me but perhaps there are members who really like to spend the entire day at the gym. Decided to check out the pool as I'm a fish by night. Wasn't too impressed with the pools as they are very small. Family pool very small in comparison to Pabst Farms YMCA, no indoor slide, warm lap pool way too warm at 88 degrees and hot tub way too shallow that I cannot imagine anyone over 5 feet getting any benefits unless they squat below the bench. There's also a women's and men's hot tub and the same depth so decided to try the steam room. Eucalyptus is a very nice touch and especially if you have allergies, a cold or sinusitis. The outdoor pool looks very inviting and great for families and children but this is January in Wisconsin. Locker room has granite seats. Looks nice, but don't want to sit on cold granite when you get out of the shower. Speaking of showers, optional rain shower, traditional or both. No hook in shower which was a little disappointing as I prefer to have all of my belongings with me. Bags for wed suits are comparable to produce bags in grocery store. Hence why I rarely use them, difficult to open. Companion wanted to try the cafe so I ordered the salmon salad - MISTAKE. Dry and flavorless salmon, salad had a sprinkle of lemon juice and oil. Very disappointing and would not recommend. Companion had the steak bowl salad with yogurt dressing which was really good and flavorful. $25 for 2 salads and an iced tea; felt cheated. All in all, I guess this confirmed I still love my gym best. read more

I showed up for my tour after making it the appointment the day before with a woman that answered the phone, see photo of booking detail I uploaded. When I arrived, the man behind the counter was checking people in using a digital gun (not sure why a human has to do that considering my previous health club has a stationary card reader you can do yourself). He was the only one at the front desk, again, my previous club had 2 people and it was 1/4 the size of this place. He was busy checking people in I guess when I arrived. He continued to use the gun to check people in while trying to take care of me. He informed me he did not have my tour schedule on the books and that I should come back the next day. I was of course irked. I pulled up the email confirmation of my tour appointment and he was not apologetic at all, he continued to say I needed to come back tomorrow so I finally asked him what he needed from me to reschedule. Long story short, for a gym this size, why only 1 person checking people in as well as trying to provide information to walk-ins? There was another lady there also who seemed to want more information about this place and her and I were trying to get one man's attention while he tried checking people in as well as trying to answer the phone! I will try one more time today after work to tour. I am more curious than anything since the doctor I work with goes there and she wants me to join. We will see tonight if I am on their books. For a starting membership of $180, this place seems more of a zoo with untrained staff than a luxury spa/gym or whatever they want to be known for. read more

Absolutely in love with this gym! Their kids area is fabulous and gives 2.5 hours a day of childcare. The indoor pool, hot tubs, and saunas make winter so much easier. Their staff is incredible! Probably my favorite thing is the work room. It's a comfy space and a quiet room so I can put my head down and get work done without distractions which is great when I really have important tasks to be completed. This Gym is not a Gym it feels like you're in a 5 Star resort. The Equipment was new the place was so clean it was scary. I was there to play the early morning basketball at 5am. The courts was clean with good grip on the shoes. This place has a cafe spa nail and hair salon basically this place has everything to offer. You can spend a whole day here. I recommend trying it out if your into working out and playing basketball. I currently go to the Princeton Club in New Berlin and I am thinking about switching over. read more

I have been a member since even before they opened. There are so many children in the Spa area where they are not supposed to be. 5 year olds and younger go into the whirlpool. I hope they have good insurance. No rules are enforced or followed by members. I swim and see the pool, which is way too small when they have classes, is cloudy, dirty, gunk floating at the bottom. The pool gets closed down quite often because of peeing and what not in the pool. Members come into the Sauna after working out in the same clothes, they smell up the Sauna. Its really disgusting that there is no common sense, it even says on the door, swimsuits only. For the amount they charge me every month, its just worth the trouble. read more

So I had an absolutely AWFUL experience at lifetime fitness, Brookfield (Wisconsin). I had a tour scheduled last week (sat, Feb 10, 2024). I went in with my 13 year old son. Wanted to show him around, so I could add him to my membership if he liked the place. While the person who showed me around was amazing, my son had an awful experience at their Cafe. While I was talking to the guy who showed us around, my son had an awful experience at the cafe where he was mocked at for his Ethnicity (Indian American) by a group of "kids" at the cafe. Not only did the cafe workers NOT intervene but I have been writing to Lifetime office about the incident since the last 7 days and the Brookfield location has NOT gotten back to me on it, let alone investigate and take action! It's an utter disappointment! I plan to take up this matter with Brookfield city council. read more

What an amazing place! It is large. They have child care, coffee bar, spa and much more. The showers have the option to do the rain shower. I took a cycling class, which I am bias because a friend teaches it. I love how she can make it feel like a party. Mrs Foster makes you feel so good after. Lots of friends teach here and they all seem super happy. The only thing I don't like is the lockers. I like how other gyms give you keys with the locker number on it. Here, you have to hunt down a locker. You do get to put in your own 4 digit-pin. But I have a terrible memory, so I have to put in what locker I am at in my phone. Failed to enforce any mask wearing during the majority of Covid. The moment the state-wide mask mandate ended in wisconsin (not due to the CDC ending it but the Supreme Court republicans) lifetime emailed members saying they would require masks anymore, as if they had before. Beyond the little things I give Life Time 5 stars because of the staff! These people woke hard to bring you a clean gym, great classes, fantastic services and let's just say it; Carlos in the Cafe is a GEM! I was hesitant to join Life Time for the bro-factor in the weight area but I don't care, the staff MORE than make up for it! I continue to be challenged in the yoga classes and any concerns I've had have been well addressed. Even a manager of the fitness classes personally reached out to me when I had a concern. I'm so glad I became apart of this gym! The atmosphere is great! Everyone is so friendly who goes here as well as, the people who work here! It is always so clean and well kept. The indoor pool is amazing as I personally love to swim laps. The fitness equipment is on a whole different level than any gym I have had a chance of being apart of. I am excited to go to the gym and can't wait to pull into lifetime. I can't wait to enjoy the outdoor pool in the summer and the amazing array of classes they offer that other gyms around town fall short on/don't offer! This fitness center exceeded all of my expectations, except one main area. Class times...for me, I have always preferred to workout, in the morning, before work, but the class-times do not allow for that. Looking for classes with a 5:15am start time. I have been at Lifetime at least 6 times now.It is a beautiful building truly brand new. The machines are good and the pools warm and beautiful. They have a coffee bar and a restaurant. That being said I have reservations. I have not seen1 overweight person yet. Iam sure they are their , I just thought it was odd over the six times I have been there I have only seen very trim and fit people. They don't offer classes for anyone with physical disabilities. Maybe this is to come as they are very new. Handicap parking is readily available. I have not seen anyone in the handicap parking lot . I have gone at all different times of the day. The restaurant food was not good. It is pricey and doesn't taste good. My frittata was very dry without any seasoning. To put a garnish on would do wonders. Again this new also so I will try it again. Everyone is very nice and accommodating. Everyone is willing to help you out. The whole experience is costly . The jury is still out. read more

First of all, this gym is like a 5-star resort. AMAZING. I have yet to run into someone rude that works there. They offer free classes along with paid classes to participate in. Kids are $30/month. I usually go to the pool in Wauwatosa and it's about $25 / visit. This membership pays for that alone. And I could go everyday! The kids "daycare" is clean and the staff is friendly. I've never used a child care service before this... and I am very impressed. No plans on leaving in the near future!! read more

Yes, it is a beautiful space and so far I like it, BUT I also try to time my visits during the "off" hours when I suspect there won't be a lot of people. Unfortunately on a Friday night, I went in around 4 pm and had to wait around for the free weights I needed to become available. This place was great, but I'm afraid it will very soon become overcrowded and I'll have to make a switch. I've only been a member for 2 months and I can already see I've wasted money on the classes I've missed out on. I've been to only 1 yoga class because they are always full to capacity. So, the only utilization of this club I'm getting is to lift weights in new space. I'll have to start scouting out other options as I don't feel that I can get to any classes that my membership includes because they are always FULL! read more

I was a member since Lifetime opened. I was allowed to put my membership on hold during the beginning of COVID but due to circumstances need to cancel. I received a call letting me know that my membership was going to be activated again. I told them I wanted to keep it on hold for free if possible. They weren't going to allow that without a $15 monthly charge so I said that's fine I'm going to cancel. They told me I need to come in a sign. I went in and they told me my membership wasn't on hold and it was active and I was going to be charged for the month and then a prorated charge for March because they require a 30 day notice. I said I told them I didn't want to activate my account so I should be paying the $15 a month for keeping it on hold- I didn't have proof of my phone conversation (because who records there phone calls) so now I'm being charged around $150 to cancel because they won't honor my conversation with one of their member service individuals. What a rip off. I won't be going back and I won't be promoting this club either. How can you feel good as a business when your member service individuals aren't documenting conversations with your members. Such a joke that I'm paying what I am to not go back. Ethics out the window for lifetime- seems like they're just after your money. read more

Has all the cardio equipment I love- Jacobs Ladder, Versa Climber, nice treadmills. Clean facility and well maintained- it's brand new, so hopefully that will remain the case. Pretty friendly staff- except for one bald guy at front desk. Here's the things I don't like: a bit pretentious for a gym. but it's not cheap, so ok, I appreciate the upscale feel. Steam room could be larger and nicer, and the worst thing is definitely the lockerss- they are way to small, and use a dial combination lock that is horrible! Overall, I'm very happy and love to work out there. I'd give 5 stars for a full length locker and the ability to lock up your belongings with a key. read more
