I stopped by Hot Nails since I was staying at the Holiday Isle resort across the street. I was in a beach wedding and needed a pedicure so I brought my boyfriend and I here - we were immediately greeted and seated in the chairs, my pedi was $35 for French and his was $45 for the deluxe men's. My nail tech was very friendly and easy to talk to (very rare to find in nail places usually!) he suggested a few places for us to visit while we were in town and while we chatted, he did a great job on my toes! My pedicure has lasted about 2 weeks and still looks emaculate - I got a French and am usually really picky about how pink they look but I really loved mine here! My boyfriend enjoyed his pedicure so much that he fell asleep in his chair! He said it was very relaxing and kept raving how smooth his legs and feet were. They play country and 80s music on their smart TV - so that was a little out of place, but luckily I don't mind Luke Bryan and Michael Jackson (haha!) if I'm staying in Destin again, I'd probably visit here for any last minute manis or pedis! read more

My mother in law came here and got dip on her nails, it's only been four days and and five of her nails are already chipping and peeling. It's not cool when one pays for good quality nails, but end up with cheap quality. I am very surprised because most of the reviews are good, which is why she went in the first place. This establishment is clean, the workers are kind, but the work itself is awful. I went in to get gel coffin nails and this was the outcome. I wasn't pleased whatsoever. I've been coming to this Salon with my mom for about 4 years now, every time I do walk-ins I have amazing experiences but every time I book an appointment I always seem to have issues, this is probably the second time of over 4 years that I've had issues with them and this time was my final straw, Most of the time I get simple nails just one color no design, nothing, typical one color nail or when I have an important event I go for a French, but this is the second time I've tried to do designs on my nails, when I walked in they knew I was getting designs on my Acrylics because I called 4 hours before going in, when I walk in they were kind of busy they were finishing up a couple of pedis, after being there for an hour she begins to do the base and I noticed she has a color too light and I make her aware of it, she then proceeded to tell me she was gonna do a couple of coats so then I let her continue, when she begins to do the V French tips I made her aware the base was too light, you could literally see the white tip of the acrylic, she says it's fine that it's the nude I wanted..., she then starts attempting to do the flowers. For like a good 25 minutes after she noticed she couldn't do it she calls over for the owner (Ricky) he is looking stressed, I could already tell her was gonna be able to do it either he tries for like 5 minutes, I explained to him that the base was too light that I wanted it darker, he says they can't do it because she already put that nude on it, I get frustrated because I've now been sitting here for over an hour an half, I am not getting what I asked for or close to it, I tell him to just not worry about the flowers and just put a darker base on and just do the V French Tips, he says he can't again. He says what they can do is what the last picture I provided looks, I hate them. But I was no longer going to sit there for them to continue doing what THEY wanted, instead of what I WANTED. Loved this place!! The employees treated everyone with respect and payed attention to the details in their work. Very honest, hard working people. Also there is an amazing healthy environment. Precautions to protect their customers include washing hands upon entry. The employees all wore masks, face shields, and gloves. There was also clear plastic shields on the massage chairs. Okay, I have never had such great service in my life. This was the chick fil a of nail salons lol! It was raining and they wouldn't let me walk outside without an umbrella. Not only did they give me an umbrella, he held it and walked me to my car and held the umbrella over my door while I got in. They also did an amazing job on my nails and are more affordable then other places around the area. EVERYONE is so nice. You will not be disappointed! They charge 3% if you use a debit/credit card. There's a VERY small sign posted at the register, but if you are paying attention you'll miss it. They are also very nosey and ask too many personal questions. It's cool to ask general questions, but they don't need to know your life. They are very pushy with their upgrade sales and don't understand no is no! They also kept asking my husband multiple times what color he wanted and we had to tell them to stop asking because it wasn't necessary to keep asking after he told them no several times. This place was way over priced for a crazy rushed mani pedi. Massage on my legs: 20 seconds. Massage on my arms: 5 seconds. Cuticle wasn't cut during Manicure and I got a crappy gel color done. Granted my toes and nails are done but yikes. $65 was insane for that. Don't do it. read more

Rated a two for the wine. First time going to this place. Won't be back. Asked for the pedi and mani which was $45. By the end I was charged for a $45 pedicure and $30 for a manicure that was halfway done. The woman rushed through my pedicure and manicure. Forgot to put top coat on my toes, I had to ask her. Then a lady walked in that she knew and she just got up without saying anything and I was sitting there for about 5 minutes with my feet in lukewarm water. When she came back she applied some cuticle oil to a portion of my nails, placed my hands in these supposed to be heated warmers (looked like heating pads) that were cold and then less than a minutes began clipping my cuticles and filing my nails. When I asked her what she was doing she said this is the new way. Manicure was over in 5-8 minutes. I also took my daughter to have her nails done for the first time and the woman did a horrible job. The nails were not smooth and you could see white spots through the polish. When I mentioned this to the nail tech she said "oh no that's how it is" and then pretended as if she didn't understand me. I still tried to explain and she said " oh no , it's ok. She like." Then started speaking in her language to one of her coworkers. I tried to show her again but she still acted as if she didn't understand even though I was showing her my daughters hands. My daughter (16) said the woman was rough while doing her nails. I was NOT at all impressed. Once home I took my daughter to my nail salon and the woman did an amazing job. Pictures with the blue are from hot spa and red is from my nail place. And no one offered to let us speak to a manager or assist with the problem. If they were the only nail shop open I still wouldn't go. read more

He then demanded that they go online and give this place a good review after they had a miserable time. My family was extremely uncomfortable the entire time.
