This place is amazing. I was on vacation and i needed new shellac on my toes and nails. I came at 9 am, and they took me right away. So polite , owners are husband and wife, they actualy made me feel like i was coming there for years. Vinnie ( owner) was the person who did my nails and he was so detailed and careful with my hands and feet . He asked me how my nails are done. Did not assume anything but did exactly how i told him to do my nails. They even let me chose what should we watch on tv. Asked me if i wanted a drink or anything else. Very clean, and proffesional . For my wedding I originally went to a spa to get my nails done, after they started to butcher them I ran over to Platinum Nails to see if they could fix them. I walked in and they were all dedicated to helping me fix my wedding nail disaster. It was great to have such great concern and service from the entire staff. They did a great french no chip mani and a regular french pedi. It turned out looking amazing!! The salon is pretty big, there must be 8 or so pedicure chairs. They are nice, new and super comfy. They took their time with the mani/pedi to make it relaxing and enjoyable. I would highly recommend going to this salon if you are in the area. You won't be disappointed. read more

Before I start the review, I would like to point out that the salon is now called Platinum Nail Salon. Everyone here is friendly and dedicated to your satisfaction. The spa pedicure comes with a fantastic foot wax, which I highly recommend. All in all I was very pleased with my experience - and I have gorgeous nails to show for it. It's not one of those fancy spa deals where they anoint your nails in orphans' tears or let little worms eat your calluses away, and you won't hear Enya or panflutes - and I prefer that, personally. I want to have my nails done by someone who'll talk to me, or I want to read a trashy magazine and not be judged. If I was a local, I'd be back. read more

My family and I came in and we were quickly welcome by Vinny. He and his staff are friendly. The place is clean and organize. My sisters and gf got a Mani+pedi. Three of our girls on vacation walked-in at 615 and they still took us all in and let us get both pedicures and manicures regardless of the fact that they were closing in 45 minutes! Unlike many of the reviews, I am a local who lives right behind this strip mall and I frequent this place every other week. The staff is super friendly and the quality of my toes and hands is always on par. I get a pedicure usually once a month and gel polish on my hands every two weeks - I've mixed it up from french, to solid color, to glitter or designs, you name it and I have always loved the quality when I left. The one time my polish peeled off completely on one toe the next day, I popped in and they painted it back quick with no issues. That was a rare occurrence and has only happened once in the years I've been getting pedicures and I was super happy with how they handled it. They do serve wine if you ask, which is always a plus. I have to say that I'm willing to pay a little more for quality and I've always been extremely happy everytime I've gone there! read more

I love this salon! I went to get a fill while in the Destin area. The salon was so clean! And Kelly did the nicest fill I have ever had! My husband had dropped me off and wasn't back yet when I was finished. Kelly was the last technician working. I told her I would wait on the bench outside the salon to wait for my husband so that she could lock up and go home. She wouldn't hear of it and waited with me in the salon until my husband got there! My gel polish lasted about 3 weeks and I had so many compliments on my nails! I wish I lived closer. Worst gel manicure I have ever had. He charged me $5 more than the listed price. I went back the next day because 2 of my nails were already peeling off and all the other we're so rough around the cuticle that in a few days when my nails grow out that they would be catching onto everything and I would be picking them off. He wanted to remove them and redo which I did not have time. Was going to fix one of the nails but had such an attitude that I just walked out. Not happy with them at all. I was on vacation in PCB and drove into destin area to go shopping. Looked up nail salons on the internet & it said this was a good one. I called ahead to ask how much a shellac polish change would be & how much to get my 4 yr olds nails painted only. I was told $30 for French shellac & $8 for daughters toes & $5 for her nails so we went. My bill was $58. I was shocked but didn't say anything. When I got to my vehicle I counted up that it should have been $43. The nice lady that polished my daughter ask if she wanted a design on big toe. So she got a simple flower. The very next day while at the beach everyone of my daughters nails peeled off. Not chipped but peeled. Her toes were 1/2 off by the end of the day. Granted we were in the ocean but 1 day for a salon paint? Ridiculous! Also while the man was putting the whites on for my shellac polish I told him it was bubbling. He told me to put my hand back in that it would be fine. It was not fine! 6 of my whites are bubbled & 1 came off completely 2 days after. 2 days for shellac! I don't think so. So while I understand maybe paying $5 for the flower the total was higher than quoted & polish is terrible! read more
