Worst manicure EVER! Had a gel mani today with one of their male techs. He used the dremel to take off my old gel, but missed some spots and just left them. Then he used a nail file with a grit that was WAY too aggressive, leaving the nail bed all ragged. He used that file on the edges, and shaped 2 of my nails round even though mine were obviously square. So now I have 2 rounded and 8 square. Then he didn't shake the polish before putting it on, so it didn't go on smoothly. I had to keep pointing out the spots where it was bare from the polish being too watery. But the WORST was when he went to put chrome on at the end. He had no idea what he was doing. He globbed way too much on each nail and didn't smooth it out before sticking my hand into the dryer. Then when it hardened, he used that same super gritty nail file to file big spots off! All the way down to the bare nail again! He kept doing the whole process- gel polish, harden, clear polish, harden, too much chrome, harden, then file big spots off - until I was literally in tears. But there was no other staff there to talk to. Then at the very end, when I pulled my hands back and insisted I was done, he said he needed to get all the polish, grit and chrome powder off the sides of my fingers. He had smeared it on either side of the nail, and now it was all hardened. But instead of using remover, he took the cuticle scissors and tried to cut it off!! This hurt, as he took the skin with it. I was so traumatized I couldn't think straight. I paid -- $70!! -- and ran out. I'm attaching photos so you can see what a mess he made. Will have to be totally redone. Beware! read more

Very clean and nice atmosphere. Tiffany was very good and friendly. She was very easy to understand.

The Worst painting of my toe nails that I have ever had in my life! They look worse than when I came in. The guy did a great massage but it looks like my two month old niece painted them! I have NO Words. When I said something the lady says maybe you need another coat.. what I need is for the guy that works there to stop doing nails! What a joke read more

I stumbled upon Emerald Nails when our daughter was visiting and needed a manicure. They are literally down the street and I didn't realize they were there. With that said I dropped her off after making an appointment and her nails looked fantastic. I then booked an appointment for myself for a dip and pedicure, and was thrilled with not only my service, but the choice of dip colors and pedicure levels. You can see by my nails, please ignore the old hands lol, they will do a fantastic job. They have the nicest salon in the area in my opinion, VERY comfortable distancing in gorgeous massage pedicure chairs and staff wears masks! You won't be disappointed! read more

Tiffany is absolutely amazing!!! Goes above and beyond for her customers! Even though they were so to close in an hour she still was willing to take us, a group of 4, and do pedicures and full set manicures! They turned out beautiful and could not of been more happy with how they turned out and how kind and helpful she and her other coworkers were. We ended up being almost 2 hours past close. Worst nail salon experience i've had probably ever. They didn't listen when i asked them not to touch my legs. I got a random chemical spilled all over me without so much as an apology. They had a hard time even gluing the tips to my nails. Then they complained that i didn't tip enough as if they hadn't just dumped some chemical that was burning my skin on me. and oh yeah, this was two days before my wedding. read more

I would just like to start off by saying that I NEVER write yelp reviews, but I have been coming to this nail salon for over a year now and it is just such an incredible experience every time. The employees here genuinely care about you and remember things about your life that you have told them months ago! The work that they do is always phenomenal. I tend to get deigns on my nails and they have always turned out amazing! I can be indecisive at times and change the design or colors on the nail-inspiration picture. However, they are always accommodating and has great ideas! I love this place and I really hope you give Emerald nails a chance. read more

We love Emerald Nails! They are our "go to" salon when staying in Sandestin. The options for treatments are many and affordable. The best is the staff and the tremendous level of service. read more

I was visiting from out of town and saw the good reviews of this salon. I didn't have a five star experience. The tech who did my mani and pedicure, filed my nails crookedly and when cutting my cuticles took large chunks of skin off. I do not recommend. read more

Tiffany was excellent! We retired to Miramar Beach 3 years ago and I've been happy with my nail and pedicure services in general since moving, but have struggled a bit between gel and dipping. Dipping is too thick for my taste and gel no longer lasts like it had for the last 5 years. A friend recommended I try Emerald Nails as she told me about "hot gel". I was fortunate to score an appointment with Tiffany for both nails and a pedicure. My lucky day! Best pedicure ever, massage was awesome and my nails haven't looked this good in months! Emerald Nails is my new "go to" - I highly recommend! read more

Would not recommend. Tools they use are not sanitized. If you don't take the tools out of a sanitized bag in front of me, I'm not coming back. Place/equipment seemed dirty overall. read more

We are in town for vacation and decided to get pedicure. This was the 3rd place I called since the other 2 were booked. I'm so glad this place wasn't because it was the best experience! Peter did my pedicure and I didn't catch the name of the lady who did my husbands but they both did a wonderful job and great conversation! We come to Destin every year and will be adding this nail salon to our things to do. Great spot and the massage chairs were amazing as well read more

If I could give zero stars I would. As soon as I walked in all the workers were yelling and arguing with each other. Made my appointment 2 weeks in advance service sucked. The owner split my appointment up with 2 other people and was trying to operate the front desk as well. I showed her the nails I wanted and she told me they were too long and she would not do them. She also butchered the simple design I ask for. They were so bad I asked her to take it off. I looked to the right of me and the owner cut my moms finger and she was bleeding. She did not do anything about the fact that her finger was bleeding and didn't even clean the tools. One of the other nail technicians told my friend that he could not do the nail design she wanted. (It was French tip) Overall it was a very unpleasant experience. Definitely don't recommend. They also kept accepting walk in's during our appointments with the only 3 nail techs working that day. read more

Make sure you ask the price before you get any services done. They will overcharge you if you don't. Also, they rushed to do my nails and didn't do a good job. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Go somewhere else read more

Service was phenomenal. Salon is super clean & the staff are friendly. Only downside was that my pinky gel toenail fell off the same day I got my pedi when I stubbed my toe on a chair; so the gel polish wasn't super durable. I'm sure I could have gone back & they would have graciously fixed it; I just didn't have time. read more

Absolutely love this place! Found it on google, while out of towns my girls and I wanted to get mani pedis. They're customer service is impeccable. The place is so spotless, which is huge for me when it comes to picking a nail salon. They're work is really good and they ask you if your comfortable all throughout the process. They even offer specialty drinks! Mimosas and nails? Yes Please! Plenty of parking as they are in a nice strip mall area. If I lived here this would be my regular nail spot. Wish I got them names of the ladies that did me, but all the workers were nice. read more

If I could give them 6 stars I would. Originally went to a different place and they couldn't get me and 2 other people with me in on time. I called Emerald Nails and they took us right away. I cannot say enough good things about Emerald Nails. The staff was so friendly and extremely thorough. They also gave me and my group complimentary drinks with our visit. The store is very clean and very well decorated. The chairs are very comfortable. All the staff is smiling and helpful. Again, I can't say enough good things about this place. I will be back to support their business again when I'm in town again. It is family owned and operated. The owner is extremely friendly and personable. Such a great experience! read more
