I treated myself to the Fire & Ice option for my pedicure because it was definitely time to pamper myself and let me tell you, it was sooooo relaxing. My nail tech, Josephine, was incredibly detailed and gentle. She really took her time to make sure everything was just right. I showed her a photo of the design I wanted, and she nailed it! Pedicure included the spa chair a really awesome steam machine, paraffin wax and a massage that I absolutely loved. She also painted my toenails perfectly. Do not waste your time! I had to come home and file my nails! I asked for a simple manicure/pedicure, no massage, no polish just file and buff my nails. The young man doing my mani/pedi could have cared less, and did not even understand what actual buffing was (I left with no buff on my nails). Nails chipped after 3 days. Owner wants to push certain services onto customer instead of listening to what they want.

I came up here got a gel manicure and it starts chipping like 5 days later I come a week after and tell them show them my receipt and was told ok come back in an hour so I do assuming there gonna fix it for free.I come back different person greeting me remembering I was the girl from earlier and I show her my receipt and she tells me to wait and I will be taken care of shortly. The guy that greeted me the first time comes to redo my nails and as he is taking offthe polish to re do my nails tells me there still gonna charge me and says something about how it looked like I picked at them which I didn't I don't pick at my nails especially if I spent money on them. Gel should last longer than a week.I will not be coming back here and I suggest nobody does either. read more

I am unfathomably particular about the way my nails are polished so I'm always hesitant to try new nail spa. Being on vacation I didn't have much of a choice but to try a new spa. I have extremely high standards that are hard to meet let alone exceed but the nail technicians at Destiny Nails exceeded my expectations completely. James polished my nails and was very meticulous yet time efficient. Dena was so very sweet and took care of me immediately upon eye contact when I walked in the door. So, I usually don't write reviews, but I wanted to give a shout out to this salon. I moved here a few months ago, and after searching all around the area for a nail spot that listened to my requests, and didn't push me out the door to get to the next customer, I found Destiny Nails. I was immediately greeted by Steve and his Lovely wife Dena. I was offered a seat right away, as well as something to drink. Steve took care of me, and listened to my request about a particular style, shape and that one funky nail we all seem to have. :) on top of great customer service, the price was perfect. Do NOT go anywhere else in the local area for your nails....most of the salons around here are geared towards tourists, so they charge an arm and a leg for subpar work. I received a manicure with family over the Christmas break. My stylist was a male and I found him to be very rude upon our introduction-nail color selection. I did not engage with him, however he was was also rude to another young lady with her sister. They argued openly in front of the other customers and made the shop very uncomfortable. None of the other stylists attempted to calm the situation. I have no complaint regarding the services provided, but I will not return to this business based on a lack of professionalism and hospitality. read more

I love them! Steve gives the best foot and leg massage. Had the deluxe pedicure for $45 and it was amazing. Leg mask and warm towels made me all tingly and happy. This is the best one stop shop salon for nails, lashes and facials. They are the best at what they do and it shows. This is not your typical salon. They take their time when they are servicing you and they always take good care of you. The salon is very clean and always feels inviting. I had the worst experience of my life at this nail salon. First of all the staff is very rude including the "manager" who did my nails. It's extremely over priced. I came in for solar pink and white acrylics and he did a terrible job my nails look horrendous. I paid $70 and was extremely unsatisfied. I called the salon and "Tom" the apparent manager said I could come in and get them fixed for free. I came in and he refused to fix them like we talked about on the phone. We got in a huge argument and it was extremely unprofessional on his part. Their techniques are completely outdated, he was popping my nails off with this tool which was painful and for some reason my fingers were burning from some chemical. Moral of the story do not come here, this is by far the worst nail experience of my life and will never come back again. read more

I went in a little over an hour before closing time and asked if they could fit me in for a basic gel manicure with a design on a total of two nails. I showed the design I wanted to a lady who said she could do it and then sat me down with a male for my manicure. When she started the design she kept swatting the brush on my nail attempting no true design. I brought up the picture and nicely asked if she could make it look more like the picture. She continued to do the same movement and ignored me. After attempting to ask several times to make it look different I finally asked if we could just remove it and paint it with the regular gel. She told she couldn't do the design because of the color & length of my nail, I've been getting designs on my nails for 5+ years and I know neither to be true. If I was told that they couldn't do the design I would have been fine, no big deal. After asking for her to remove she told me she would put sparkle on it, but it was only put on the middle of my nail. She didn't even bother putting it over the entire nail or making it smooth. The overall job of the other nails was horrible and dried splotchy. I have never once got my nails redone but this was such a bad job I went the next morning to another nail salon who did a fantastic job. I tried to be completely understanding in the situation even apologizing thinking they would reactive the situation. Unfortunately all I received was a quick unprofessional manicure. read more

While on vacation "the girls" of our family decided to treat ourselves to Mani/pedis... Unfortunately we chose this salon. Jasmine (the woman who introduced herself as the owner) was ridiculously rude! After we all (5 ppl) chose the same color she told me aunt that she was to OLD for that color and chose for her... To make matters worse when my cousin and I had to go back the following day because the gel manicure had already chipped in less than24 hours Jasmine laughed in our face when we explained she had offended our aunt. She said she could come get the color now but obviously after being embarrassed the day before that wasn't an option! Additionally, if you make the unfortunate decision to visit this salon you should plan to take cash even though all major credit cards are excepted. Jasmine practically refused my visa and rudely asked me to pay for my services in cash. We left Destin this morning (Saturday) and both my manicure and pedicure, which I paid $75 for on Thursday are chipped and peeling! Jasmine is clearly only about the $$$ and the customer experience is not her priority!! My advice would be to take your business to any other salon!! read more

Pedicure was fine, but DO NOT get a wax! They totally screwed up my eyebrows. It will take weeks for me to fix this. One eyebrow was perfect and the other was TERRIBLE. My bad for thinking they were pros, I should've known better. Stick to the basic services. read more

If I could give this place less than a star, I would. I am not usually one for writing reviews but, in my case, I did not want anyone else to find themselves in my position. I walked in on a friday evening (less than 2 weeks ago) to use a gift certificate that mother had purchased for my birthday in December. After receiving a rushed pedicure because they closed at 7, I went to pay and I was advised by the "manager" that they no longer accept this gift card although it has NO expiration date and had $50 on it and I wanted to use it for a $30 pedicure. I asked if there was a problem and offered to get the original receipt from my mother and they said they were sorry but they couldn't accept it because the business changed owners. After a 20 minute discussion, they took the gift card and told me I no longer had to pay for my pedicure but they also could not honor the remaining balance on the gift card. Less than 2 weeks later, the polish is chipped and I still am short $20 and, in general, a pleasant experience with Happy Nails. I can, however, recommend the wonderful staff at 4 Seasons who are a short distance away and treat every customer with special treatment. read more
