I went here to get acrylics and a pedicure.. I was expecting to pay maybe $75 - $85 but I was absolutely SHOCKED when she was charging me $120. Including the tip I left with about $145 less in my wallet. Seriously?? A full set anywhere is usually anywhere from $35-50, its over $60 here. I paid so much and I absolutely HATED my nails, they looked awful. I actually cried when I got back in my car because they were so thick, bulky, chunky and UNEVEN. They did not look anywhere close to normal. The guy who did my acrylics overlapped them on my actual skin and within TWO DAYS they all started peeling up and came off. They came off so quickly and SO EASILY. They're supposed to last 2-3 weeks. I paid so much money and they lasted 2 freaking days. So obviously I call the store and ask for them to do them again because I was not about to waste all my money, she agreed that I go back. Once I come inside she tells me "dont get your nails so long because you have a baby" Excuse me? What in the world does having a kid have anything to do with me wanting to get my nails done? If shes assuming that all my acrylics fell off because I have a baby, thats absolute bs. Anyways, this whole time im thinking she told me to come in to let me get my nails re-done with no additional cost because they were done badly the first time. I even called in to tell her and she told me to come up there. I got up and she went straight to the desk to make me pay. THE AUDACITY TO CHARGE ME AGAIN. She made me to pay TWICE even though they were the ones who messed up the first time I came in. I was so effing PISSED!!!! I cannot believe she made me pay AGAIN and I even brought my full nails that came off to show her that they just came off as a whole and I didnt try to break them off. I WAS SCAMMED. And even though I got them re-done they still were NOT even. This place is a rip-off. Do not go here, they're services are way over priced and they dont even do a good job. I visited My Nail Spa today for the first time and it won't be the last! Loc was amazing. I asked…read morefor the Deluxe Pedicure and it was more than I expected to receive. First off, the spa was very clean and the pedicure chairs were the most comfortable I've ever been in. The back massage that it provided was very relaxing. Now, for the pedicure, it included the usual exfoliation, polish removal, cuticle trimming, etc. Loc was very gentle and careful with my skin and nails. The extra add ins for the "deluxe" part was, a lavender scrub, skin mask, moisturizer, a long and deep massage of the feet and lower legs, hot wax treatment and warm stones followed by OPI's Cozu-melted in the Sun paint on the toenails. I was there for what seemed like an hour and a half. And it was total bliss! I was sure that it would cost me an arm and a leg for the service that I received but when I checked out, the lady (I believe she's Loc's wife) said $60. I added a tip of over 65% because I was so pleased with their service and care. It's a really nice salon located very conveniently for me right off of 98. I normally get a pedicure right before coming down to the beach but from now on, I will wait until I get here for my beach pedicure!

Update to my review to add eyelashes!! I loved them! Mod is the gal to go to for lash extensions…read more Verdict on eyelashes. Only did them once. Lasted about 2.5 weeks nicely. Second half of that week the false ones started to go missing. This is my personal amount of wear time for these (kinda like a fill in for nails). Upon professional removal my lashes were a teeny weenie weenie but shorter for about a week. They have now returned to former glory. Waking up to clean under eyes and not having to apply 4 coats of mascara to my blonde eyelashes was awesome!!! I would ABSOLUTELY do again for a special occasion. I don't really need to be looking that fine all the time anyway. The guys couldn't handle it. Sssssssizzle. Hahahahahaha Mod does amazing pedi's and My pink and white with her husband was perfect. I finally found a permanent place to get my nails done!! Yay!!!

Additionally, I found it awkward that I was shuffled between three different nail technicians. They cut into my cuticles on both my hands and feet, drawing blood. After leaving, my cuticles drew back and looked terrible for the next week. Unfortunately, this reminded me of why I started doing my own nails to avoid how rough nail "specialists" are!
